Mega Man 10 wasn't even that impressive. It was better then 4-6 and especially 8 but disappointing compared to Mega Man 9. We don't need another 8-bit Mega Man. 8-Bit is Enough.
Now, a new Zero game, X9 or Legends 3 would all be most welcome.
^Didn't you argue against banning The Binding of Isaac from the 3DS eShop/
Regardless, this is incredibly stupid IMO, but as WhiteKnight said, the backlash from stupid parents will hurt our ears. Just like that woman who complained about the full-blown sex sequences her 15-year-old son saw in GTA, an M-Rated game. Just like all the groups that complained when MadWorld was released on the Wii.
@TheDreamingHawk And I don't consider GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, or any other big chain to be a "discount store".
Seriously, if they want to keep up with other download services, offer reasonable pricing and discounts. Not 5 times what you'd pay for an actual physical cartridge.
@TheDreamingHawk I can respect that idea, but you ought to look at some developers. They don't call people out usually, but they say some of the most arrogant things you will ever hear.
Considering the amount of devtime, delays and hype, I can't say I'm not disappointed. If anything, I'll get the PSN or XBLA version when I get a PS4/X720 (either or). Sorry, but I don't like the idea of spending my money on a service where the devs aren't gonna make any cash. Pretty sure the only game that made any profit these last couple of years on WiiWare was La-Mulana. Or maybe a shovelware title here and there.
At least the 3DS eShop doesn't have these bullcrap restrictions.
Also, I play Rock Band and real guitar, with some minor inspiration to start the latter because of the former. So that's a crappy argument.
Plus, as ryanthehedgehog said, why don't you just become a professional football player instead of play Madden. Why don't you just join the Mafia/Triads rather then play GTA. Instead of playing Mario, why don't you eat some mushrooms, go crazy, and kill a bunch of animals in search of a girl?
In a minor way, I feel connected to the people who play Madden and COD because of games like Rock Band, DDR and the like.
The gameplay is almost identical every time, but there are some changes (not to mention a new tracklist),
Also, after World Tour, GH became terrible anyways, so not worth a damn unfortunately. DJ Hero on the other hand was a fresh new title (which I predicted wrongly as a Beatmania rip-off) that didn't do nearly as well as it should've.
@SheldonRandoms When I went there, it was listed as $5 but sold out. It must have been some special deal because it's an extreme outlier, but still worth mention because of the comparison.
@theblackdragon Nobody with any logic is expecting "all digital downloads should be 50% off release day!"
But games should generally be a tad bit cheaper (even as low as $2 difference) and old games should be a lot cheaper. Props to Aksys for this one. Good call.
First off, why is it that every damn time I make an argument, you get on my back? Or even worse, you fail to make an argument, and just say "wut?"
They should be cheaper to attract gamers to the digital market. When so many people complain about unreasonable pricing, and the market there clearly isn't doing as well as XBLA or PSN even, there's room for improvement.
And here are some examples (none as extreme as Pilotwings though)
Star Fox 64 3D: $31 with free shipping on Amazon, seen as low as $5 at Sears brand new
Pokemon Rumble Blast: 40 Euros on eShop, most expensive I've seen at price match free place is $30 at GameStop
See Nintendo! Here's a case of a developer being completely rational about pricing! Rather then charge $40 for a game that typically costs about $8, they're charging $15 for something usually a bit higher.
I'd go with a 9/10 if only because several of the areas don't look polished graphically, which is bizarre when looking at the new everything else (especially enemy and character models). That and I've always preferred Majora's Mask.
Yep, at this point, even if it has its flaws, I say this game deserves a 10 far more then Ocarina of Time or ZE: VLR does. This game is loaded with content, has some pretty gorgeous graphics, contains loads of replay value, has some of the best 3DS music out there, has a great difficulty curve, and the controls are actually best fit for the gameplay (though whoever decided it would be a good idea to omit dual-analog while allowing you to aim with the GODDAMN FACE BUTTONS needs to be bitchslapped). If this game ever gets a sequel, I really hope they flesh out the multiplayer aspect more (especially for random matches) and add a few more options like dual-analog and removal of automatic homing for melee.
Sounds like Pop+ Solo has a similar concept based more on combo then speed, but overall is a much more well-rounded package (with some of the best DSiWare music).
So yeah, spend the extra $3 as it's totally worth it even without leaderboards.
None of the delays besides POTENTIALLY Epic Mickey are really of too much notice, and Legends was complete butt. You'd be best off just using the backwards compatibility to get GoldenEye for Wii instead.
I don't expect any Ambassador titles for a $30 cut.
This is a year and a half into the console's life. A small price cut makes sense now. A $80 price drop less then half a year in is more likely to alienate current owners.
If it's not being used as a generic term, then this news article is redundant. The original R4 hasn't been supported since 2008 and doesn't even work with the DSi let alone the 3DS, so this ban would affect literally nothing except perhaps small children.
Nintendo needs to make an easy indie development kit. Those who make homebrew never do it for profit, they just do it as a hobby. And with those expensive 3DS kits, a hack is to likely come soon.
Trust me when I say no groups other then those who make flashcarts for seedy profit seek hacks for piracy.
Yeah, MSRP for Pilotwings? A game 1.5 years old that averages around $10 now?
Nintendo, step your freaking game up. Look at PSN, Steam, XBLA. None of them offer games that old with that much devaluation retailwise for MSRP. Look at Bionic Commando on Steam, went from $60 to $10.
I'm contemplating giving this a go. Every other review has ranged from 7 (Wiiloveit being the lowest) to 10 (Aussie-Gamer), but NintendoLife has the most professionally written review thus far with a 4.
I'll probably wait for another positive review or another eShop card.

Re: Sumo Digital: Mario Kart Should Incorporate Other Nintendo Franchises
I'd like to see a separate kart series, or at the very least a mini-game in the next SSB.
Re: Gunman Clive Blasting Onto The European 3DS eShop Before Christmas
Button controls will definitely raise this up a level.
But the level design is EXTREMELY linear and rather bland. May invest in it if other things are changed around.
Re: Talking Point: Time for Wii U to Treat Us Like Adults
@Yanchamaru Good luck. The 3DS hasn't got hit (besides DS-Mode) in 1.5 years, the Wii U probably won't move faster.

@TheDreamingHawk If you skipped to the raids the first time you played, you'd be dead within minutes.
Re: Wii Fit U Arriving In The U.S. In Q1 2013
I actually want some Mii based titles on the 3DS, more then Pilotwings. Like maybe a new little platformer or adventure game on the eShop.
As simplistic as they usually are, all those Wii games have some incredible charm to them, probably because of said basic designs.

@TheDreamingHawk That's a crappy argument.
Steam drops prices like crazy
XBLA drops prices with the big chain stores
PSN does as XBLA
Nintendo? OLOLOLOL NO U PAY 40 FOR PILOTWINGS
Re: Guitar Hero 7 Was in Development With a Six-Stringed Guitar
There are major differences in unique rhythm games, so people claiming that they're too repetitive need to open their minds.
Go play Rhythm Heaven, play Flash Flash Revolution, then play Rock Band.
Huge difference. If all you've played is Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero World Tour, there's a problem.
Re: Guitar Hero 7 Was in Development With a Six-Stringed Guitar
@MetroidMasher17 A lot of people say the difference is what makes it harder for them to play Rock Band over actual guitar or drums.
Re: Retro City Rampage Storming Onto WiiWare Soon

He's gonna keep making predictions until one is right.
He needs to use words like "It's a risky investment" rather then saying "Nintendo is going down like the Titanic!"

Re: BIT.TRIP SAGA On The Way To 3DS eShop
@LegendaryQ What are you waiting for? If you want a perfect lag-free version, the Wii version is cheap as well. But both are great choices.
There's no reason to not get this other then rhythm game hatred (which, then, you should stay away cause it's a particularly brutal one).

@LZBirdboi Well then who the hell would choose a $40 digital download with no physical product or even an account system, over an actual game for $15?
That is the stupidest argument I've heard yet about digital Nintendo.
Re: Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Rises From The Dead For Japanese eShop Release
Considering the online aspects, I would definitely consider this with a delete save feature.
Re: Nintendo Download: 6th December 2012 (North America)
You CANNOT mix The Doors with something crap like Skrillex.
And that Titanic game sounds like it has some serious promise. Screw the rest except (very unlikely) that DSiWare RPG potentially.

@WiiLovePeace Knowing Shin'en, I'd say 8 to 10 dollars is a good guess.

The retail release had mission and boss rush mode.
Still, if this is low, I actually will consider updating once (Not 5 times for increasing prices, Nicalis)
Re: Review: Little Inferno (Wii U eShop)
I wish I wasn't so cash-strapped. It didn't top WoG, but that would be hard to do.
If I get a Wii U, this'll probably be my first download.

Will probably get this if I get a Wii U.

Re: Feature: Reinventing Nintendo's Legacy Franchises on Wii U
You should've mentioned X as a successful (critically) revival. X-Scape was hands down the best DSiWare title and needs more publicity.

Re: Wii U Version Of Grand Theft Auto V "Up For Consideration"
I would buy. The Wii update of Bully was brilliant compared to the original.
