I wouldn't discard this game based on this review, you want my opinion ,buy it. The fact that this version has checkpoints actually makes it better the game is hard regardless, not every gamer out there wants to be frustrated, atleast to some degree anyway

I highly disagree, part of the identity was the charm and this version is awesome in hd. For me and my money this is a 8.75 and that is all that matters to me

the game has not aged well, the controls are horrible along with just about everything else. but back in the day this was fun?

No we shouldn't have to be patient, Nintendo should have all this already ready at launch just like the Wii, so I just hear excuses. To me this launch year has been nintendy's worst.

The wii's launch up had the virtual console , The first day of launch we had zelda, and many of the classic VC games to boot. Oh not to mention wiiware service. So thats 3 things the wii had that the wii u lacks

I buy each console every time one comes out , im just saying the wii u has failed to keep things interesting

Suprise suprise,even with ALL the content, this week sucks. The wii u line up sucks, and since launch, Nothing worth a poop was been on the table. Resistance 2 [ps3], Skyrim[ps3], Darkstone[ps1], and finally got my copy of Medievil 2 [ps1] i am most excited about it. I have never played it before, and i always wanted to. The original is still my favorite psone game ever and holds a place in my retro heart. I can't wait this weekend will be awesome

IF you own a ps3 you can get the original for 4.99,its on sale until the store updates today so go get it!!! i did and its good, 3rd person action done very well.

ugh, why couldnt they gave us ps3 adopters a less broke game. I guess it was my fault for Not waiting to get it on Wii. Oh well enjoy this wiiware players, its awesome and fun and HARD.
