Re: Talking Point: Sony's PlayStation 4 Poses a Fresh Challenge for Wii U in the 2013 Holidays

Im so buying the ps4, which does put a HUGE dent to MY money that WAS going to the WiiU.
I've had a ps3 for the better of 6 years and i guess it really was the system aimed for me.In the end i found sony to be the best for me personally. I will not forget about nintendo though, Ive bought the WiiU and games for it. But honestly, All the older PS3 games i couldnt afford at the time are starting to come down to 20$ and i pay and play the ps3 way more then my shiny new WiiU with the games all still 59-39 dollars.

Even the ps4 lineup makes the system worth buying day one.But i guess i will hold off the first year, lets just hope Nintendo picks up the pace.

Please nintendo, pick up the pace.

I just got my copy of Fallout : Brotherhood Of Steel on ps2. As a big fan of bethesdas versions of Fallout, this was something i had to atleast try.

But even better, I got my copy of Mega Man Legends in yesterday i won on ebay.FINALLY!!!I can try this dang game out. I had to throw 40 bucks on this sucker

i also ran across the square enix sale on PSN this week so i got Final Fantasy 5 and Final Fantasy 6 both at five dollaz. Plan on playing those. I got Alice: returns to madness last week as well. Im booked up for a long while.

Re: Square Enix Takes Quarterly Earnings Hit

Square didnt get a whole bunch of my money this year,to many new game developers fighting for my money. Most of what i purchased was downloadable games through PSN and WiiWare. No retail releases

Re: Gearbox Interested in Bringing Borderlands 2 to Wii U

odd69

Wow each to his own, but borderlands was the best game ive ever played.Drop in drop out co-op was the whole reason i got back into FPS's. I grew tired of online competitive modes and borderland was and still is a breath of fresh air in the stale stale FPS genre.

Bring it to wii u!! Only problem with that is most people are already are buying it on other systems

Re: Site News: James Finds a Warp Zone

James, I've been reading this site for a very long time, even since before the merge and i will say that it just wont be the same without you. Congrats on your job at Nintendo. Thank you for the fond memories here.

Re: Satoru Iwata: 'Deep' Online Services May Have a Cost

odd69

No not reasonable, Sony may not be the best company, but they provide FREE DEEP ONLINE gameplay. But hey You can pay extra for a service that is horrible. Nuff said.

I understand this is Nintendo though, but still not quite sure about this.

Re: Kirby's 20th Anniversary Special Collection Doesn't Suck

odd69

How about Kirby swag? i yawn at all this content that i already have. Sure artbooks are great and the calendar is okay, but they should throw in a kirby plush or a keychain or just something nicer than a cheap piece of paper. No, this isnt and doesnt do 20 years justice and im a die hard kirby fan. I can name plenty of just plain old collectors editions that have tons more stuff.Im passing on this one,as much as i really dont want to.

Re: Retailers Call for Summer Blockbusters

odd69

If games are 60$ a pop, then yea they should be spread out. Im sure many are tired of missing out on games, tired of playing tug of war over games. At this point i feel guilty if i dont support indie titles and downloadable games, so i have to pay for them along with the blockbusters. I end up spending all my extra cash and having a backlog the size of texas.
