Re: Ghost Song: A Journey of Hope Misses Wii U Fundraising Target But May Still Arrive

odd69

I should have backed this, I want stuff like this for the WiiU i mean, that's why i bought it. I cant afford to buy games then donate to every single kickstarter. I guess this is partly users fault but, how about just make it with the money he made, get a loan for the rest. Hope for the best afterwards. I think he is trying to take a chance on this one, Im keeping my eye on this.

I have a feeling that the ps3, xbox ,and pc will get this before WiiU will and does'nt surprise me one bit

Re: Video: Want To See Just How Much Better Zelda: Wind Waker Looks In HD?

odd69

@theadrock13
so in other words it wasn't expensive enough to build a whole new game. i can see that. i think i would buy them all if they had a fresh paint of coat too especially if they re-did a link to the past (OMG i would squeal), so i guess this one isn't any exception. So i will have to get it. Ugh just didnt want to spend so much, games are getting highly priced and i want them all.

Re: Keiji Inafune Thanks Mighty No. 9 Backers in New Video

odd69

Ugh..this looks just like mega man...Made by the same creator..Why not call it mega man and not mighty #9. I mean its megaman . The character clearly resembles mega man. Side Scrolling? Check. I have a funny feeling this is just another mega man game which im NOT complaining, but why not just say this is another mega man game? It would sale alot of copys versus a clone game.

Re: Video: Want To See Just How Much Better Zelda: Wind Waker Looks In HD?

odd69

Fifty bucks is alot for a fresh paint of coat. Flame me all you guys want but i feel the money Nintendo spent on a game already made could have spent on a entirely new Zelda. See Nintendo wants us to re-buy every console but @#$% that you guys go ahead with it. geeze it looks so damn good though.

Its good to know im not the only one who can see right through this, so i can not feel alone here

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th August (North America)

odd69

looks like the 3ds is the Nintendo system to own, cause waiting on the wii u to pick up steam is proving to be a bore. I have noticed lately how much love the 3ds gets, why cant the wii u get the same treatment ??(well handhelds are the big Ns bread and butter perhaps)

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Confirmed for 4th October in North America

odd69

@Senario as i said the "new features alone are probably worth buying" cause they fixed a few features i thought were going to better it and those who havent played it before will be surprised on "how fun the game really is"

i actually dont really care what people buy, i was just saying im not buying it at full price since i already own the wonderful original copy. the original already looked great so for me its just a new paint of coat (opinion) im not bashing the new features. If it goes down on sale whos to say i wont pick it up? go ahead and spend your money , and buy me a copy too since your such a big supporter

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Confirmed for 4th October in North America

odd69

Sure im buying a game with a new paint of coat, NOT. I still have my original copy and there is just to many games to just "rebuy" this "remake". Let me guess its going to be released at 60.00 full price too? Im sure the "new" features are worth buying alone but this game was already a classic before they were implemented. Ill be buying the new Zelda game, to all those lucky to get this will be so surprised on how fun this game really is

Re: Talking Point: The Wii U's Limited Hard Drive Space and Future Install Headaches

odd69

Nintendo just flopped this year, the ps4 is going to leave it in the dust. As far as im concerned im enjoying the wii u until November. i don't even care about the space issues, this system has had nothing but problems since the day it released. Even if the system makes a turn around its going against current generation stuff, remember the word "current", Nintendo released this system way to late with way to many shortcomings, i hate it but i just have to except it

if they wanted to truly leave us with a system they would have released it with enough space, and enough decent content, with the knowledge of what its competitors are doing and what the people want in general

space should never be an issue we shouldnt have to install anything , all the consoles suffer from this. its a big headache and not enough asprin in the world to make it go away

Re: Review: DuckTales: Remastered (Wii U eShop)

odd69

So after I played this a while I can say,it is a good game worthy of a remake, and I finally realize that most reviewers opinions stink. So from now on if I like the art direction of a game, a good demo or even nostalgic im buying it. I've played so many great games shunned by the critics its laughable. This is a top notch platformer read all the comments from everyone else it is infact a likeable game.
This review is the best one the net and I just have to thank you guys for giving it a score worthy enough.

but its not the game I have a problem with, its Nintendo. So I paid 16.04 for a 14.99 game on the eshop right? well I could have paid 11.99 TAX FREE on psn. That's a saving six bucks. So I guess psn is still a better platform for me, the discounts are too hard to ignore. Oh and the sales are every single week on games, how can Nintendo possibly beat that? Oh and the discounts Nintendo gives us are laughable as well, try 50% off Nintendo that's a real discount.

Re: Review: DuckTales: Remastered (Wii U eShop)

odd69

I've read a lot of other reviews and it sounds like a lot of them are being whiny. Cant wait to try it to see if I can even trust these internet reviews. This one doesn't have any whining and crying thankfully

Re: Review: DuckTales: Remastered (Wii U eShop)

odd69

I'm picking up my copy today actually. I've decided to get it for the Wii U. I first experienced this on the nes and I was a big fan of the cartoon series and I have fond memories of these experiences so sorry Sony the big "N" had this one from the start. Im glad for this reboot though, brings back a lot of memories

Re: Katsura Hashino: "Many Announcements" Set For 25th Anniversary of Atlus

odd69

I like Atlus. I'd go with Sony, ps4 is right around the corner and thats the future or the new or whatever. Maybe they can sell some to Nintendo cause i would actually buy more 3rd party games. Atlus releases must haves for me so that would mean more attention on Nintendo. Why not sell a little piece of something to everyone?

Re: Interview: Capcom on Remastering DuckTales, The Perils of GamePad Maps and Reaching a New Audience

odd69

Yes bring back Aladdin on snes!!! Wayforward you should do this, I agree with #2, that was my favorite platformer as a kid because i could actually get far in it, the mechanics are wonderful and has an appeal for everyone. Capcom made the snes version and it plays alot better, the Sega Genesis version(virgin interactive) is actually a disgrace to games play it and you'll see

Re: Review: Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (Nintendo 64)

odd69

omg i loved this, 9/10. I just loved playing this as a youngster. For what it was it wasnt that bad of a game, i got used of the controls and it was just like playing call of duty, i wouldnt write it off so quick. just my opinion though it seems like most people didnt enjoy it, im sure there is a small cult following for this game
this is the game that introduced me to console fps cause i didnt play golden eye, and it also introduced me to turok which is a series i would still love to see

Re: Review: Cloudberry Kingdom (Wii U eShop)

odd69

I decided not to get this but i still wonder the differences of the consoles. I own a ps3 and a WiiU i wonder which is the go to must have version? i know that eventually this game will be 5.00$ on psn, and thats where i decide if i want it. Something tells me this isnt my type of platformer, but whos to say what is?

Re: Review: EarthBound (Wii U eShop)

odd69

I bought this day one, I did remember playing mother on rom but never played earthbound for snes. I actually didn't like mother all that well ,but after watching youtube videos for earthbound I was more interested even though its the same-y but with a fresher paint of coat. I didn't think it was ever going to release on the virtual console anyway so I forgot about it. But the Wii U's virtual console can still make up with retro games that still need to be released. I am satisfied with this. Im enjoying earthbound though, it really does have this charm.

Re: Satoru Iwata Refutes Claim That Nintendo Is "Suffering" Right Now

odd69

Don't give up but rather try harder, Nintendo. I got money to throw at any game I want. I got VC on the wii, and re-releasing them on Wii U does don't excite ME in the least.

I guess you either love this machine or hate it. I don't know where I stand, I do know ive been supporting Nintendo since 1989 and will continue on,with the good and bad...
