@roboshort Pokken I think would have dropped off now, it hit 1.1 back in march but I don't see it getting much higher. Minecraft I don't know about, I think we would have heard it it hit a mil, but octopath definitely has hit 1 mil and probably on its way to 2
@OorWullie The actual content is included in the game files, other wise you would have to do a download if you purchased one of the ships/pilot/weapons etc. Because they will just immediately unlock when using a toy rather than initiate a download, the content for all the ships etc are in the game files. The DLC content will just be unlock keys, not additional data to download.
@beazlen1 There is no basic physical version. Theres only the starter pack. You have to get the game with a pilot, a ship and a weapon which are all DLC, so they only offer the starter pack so you get the standard. Its like skylanders, you cant play that game without getting a figure and the portal, so its included in every purchase.
@AllHailQueenBoo I win that money I bet, now who did i bet again?
Anyway that explains perfectly why its not coming to other platforms, they arent porting it, they are tweaking an emulation. Minimal effort required.
Same reason square enix not bringing KH the story so far to other platforms, minimal effort required to put it on ps4 as all games already run on it, to put on other platforms requires a ton of dev time to port.
Lol at all these comments. The reason its exclusive is that Sony helped develop the ports. We dont know what exactly but I'm willing to bet that these are just the PSP versions running on the souped up PSP emulator that Sony has for PS4 that they used for parapa the rapper are releasing medievil using. So Konami basically do nothing to get them running, just some optimising. No port work needed.
Sometimes games just don't appeal to some people, that includes reviewers. I agree with this review, the game just could not click with me when I got the vita version, i think the lack of map had a lot to do with it, but I understand that many people love that. Don't insult the review just because it gives a different opinion from the norm. But do go to metacritic and compare with other reviews to get multiple perspectives.
"Right now, the only real reason to play is purely for fun"
Really? Are you not playing ranked mode to try and break into the elusive S and even X ranks? Sure its not unlocking more stuff like fortnite or paladins, but its a global rank to show how good you are and how much more you can improve, something to chase.
Original ps4 version was pretty good - this mobile version with times, pay to win and required internet to play is a shadow of its former self. Why did they not port the ps4 version?
Anyone complaining about this years lineup clearly isn't a nintendo fan. Sure its not had anything Zelda level of awesome early in the year, but its got Smash and Pokemon on the way for the end of the year that will sell like crazy.
Plus nintendo have published 10 switch games in 7 months, plus 2 of those games had 3ds versions developed and there have been a further 3 more 3ds games published by nintendo. Nintendo publish way more games than any other 1st party, and all of them are at least 7/10 games. Just because they don't all appeal to the mainstream switch is written off, when in actual fact the games are selling very well (bayo, dk, cap toad all out pacing wii u versions, octopath sold out most places, hollow knight and fortnight doing incredibly well on switch)
£60!!! that means the digital version will match it. Smash is a game to get digitally as it will be drop in and out so much, but screw £60, ill jump to the US store and get it for £45
Glad to see this get a great score - I have it on Vita and IMO it is the best game released for the little handheld (yes it beats persona 4 and Uncharted) Love it!
Oh OK, plays like an 8 for me. I'm really enjoying the open environments, the quick combat and especially the boss fights and transformation powers. The lore is really deep too. I'm surprised at the 6 when I've seen so many games get 8s and 9s when I completely disagree.
Did anyone really expect a lower price than other platforms launch price. That doesn't happen, and it shouldn't happen. All these people demanding doom and skyrim at the same price as other consoles are ridiculous, they are brand new releases on a new system, there has been much dev work to port it, pay to have it on the system you want, or just buy it on the other system
@dres Its actually easier than that. You don't need to call nintendo, just login to the eshop on primary switch and choose deregister as active account. Login to eshop on the other switch with the same account and it should show as registered. 1 account on multiple switches is possible, just only one can be active at a time.
Regardless, doesn't bother me as I wanted 2 only, I have 1 on 3ds and Wii U. What does bother me is the price hike in the UK. $20 on US eshop but £20 on UK, when rev 1 is $20 and £16. For shame Capcom UK, learn maths.
US eshop price is $49.99, UK eshop price is £54.99. someone at namco cant do maths.
Purchase US version for around £20 saving. I got the same saving by getting from amazon with a voucher, but they didnt get stock in time for day 1 delivery so I am stuck waiting.
5 years since last officially licensed game on a nintendo system...wasnt NBA playgrounds officially licensed? That was only May. Even when playgrounds launched it didnt sound as broken as this version does, I'll stick to the silly over the top game
Pity the 21st Sept release date didn't stick for switch while it did for all other platforms I will be excited when this releases but October and November are very busy with releases so this won't be stick out as much as sept.

@BezBot 1 is on cart, 2 is provided as a download code. You get both games for that price, just only 1 is physical and you have to download 2

Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
Any idea why the switch version is £17.99 and the PSN/XBO/PC version is £15.99. That aint right. I'm not buying it on principle.
Also I hear the framerate issues turn the game from old skool hard to an unwinnable nightmare
