The game itself is fine. It’s just the controls . I booted up the Xbox Version , and played for a couple of hours with the default controls. It felt as comfortable as playing Call Of Duty. I couldn’t even get past the Dam level on the Switch. I’m sure this will quickly be patched.

Finally get to play Pilotwings 64 again. Loved that game. Every other announcement is just a nice bonus 😁

Looks to me like something that would have been better if it was included with the Switch online expansion pack. This is just so bare bones , and the Switch motion controls will be flakey at best. Sorry , not paying for this one.

I’m fine with them charging extra, but really need a better selection of games to launch with. Why no Wave Race 64 , Pilotwings 64 , 1080 Snowboarding ? I already own the Sega Megadrive Collection on Switch , so those few Sega games add nothing extra to the package for me either. A bit disappointed

Codemasters aren’t the racing games force they once were. Look at Dirt 5 ! That was horrible !

@Highlar Good shout , Old School Musical is a great game , like finding an old treasure trove of unreleased SEGA and Nintendo tunes - Chip tune at it’s very best , combined with familiar tried and tested rhythm gameplay.

Can’t be doing with all the freemium nonsense ! I’ll be sticking to Grid and Mario Kart for my racing fix.

Think Grid Autosport also deserves a nod , that’s a fine port , I think I may even prefer it to the Xbox 360 original !

Had to get it , just brings back so many great memories growing up in arcades in the 80’s . Still plays surprisingly well , even in handheld mode .

Warioware Gold would be in my top 10 , and Kirbys Extra Epic Yarn is a great 3DS platformer too that should be shown more love !

Probably worth mentioning that you can grab this for the 3DS for half price if you have a few reward coins in your account. I’ve never ever played this , so can’t resist dropping a couple of quid and seeing what all the fuss is / was about 😁

I’m still tempted by this as I love retro arcade games , but I’d read there were performance and crashing issues .....is this still the case or have these been patched ? As for the Sega collection , I double dipped , having already got it for the xbone .....I can live without Sonic 3 to be honest , but I really wish they had included Super Hang On , one of Sega’s finest racers.

I picked up Hyrule Warriors in the sale for £33 ........and hated it so much I deleted it within an hour 😂 That’ll teach me to go bargain hunting on Black Friday ! Acts as a reminder why physical purchases are best , you always have that resale option.

Was hoping for a new Pilotwings . Sadly wasn’t to be . I even had the tag line in my head ...... Pilotwings Switch .......Fly Anywhere !

Steep wasn’t that good anyway , the always online requirement even for single player killed it for me (on xboxone) . Couldn’t play half the time because the servers were offline

Got this today , and it’s fun but I’ve come across a BIG problem - Some events still use motion control , even in handheld mode ! This just doesn’t work . Bungee jumping and Surfing are unplayable in handheld because of this .........how the hell did somebody not notice this during testing ? I mean you can’t throw your Switch around and look at the screen at the same time !

@construx Think you’re spot on with that description. I can see myself quite happily just chilling out for an hour or two in the evenings with a beer playing this . Got plenty of intense action games on the Xbox one , this looks unique and fun .

I still think this looks like a fun game to chill out with . I never played the original Wii version , but I’m still tempted . I don’t have kids to play it with either , but add a couple of mates (and beers ! ) and I think I’ll probably get my money’s worth . I actually thought they added a couple of Switch exclusive events like fishing , but no mention of this in the review .

Just need Windjammers for my collection really , may not happen though I think it’s stuck in rights hell 😕

Picked this up half price For £25 in an eshop sale a while back.........Its a fun game but they got the pricing completely wrong , should have been around that mark from the start. As an aside , whoever decided on the pricing for Lumines Remastered got it spot on , and the game deserves to be a big success !

A new Pilotwings would be the thing I’d most like to see , but I’d settle for an updated Wave Race or MARIO Maker too 👍

Wow , this has the absolute worst implemented level sharing that I've seen in any video game ! You can't even just play your own levels easily . Very poor.

I played it briefly on xb1 before trading it in the next day , very poor . In fact I much preferred the mini games in 30 game collection / party planet - I know reviews of that haven’t been stellar but honestly it’s much more fun than Scribblenaughts Showdown if your’re looking for some local mini game action

Looks a bit like the Team17 classic Arcade Pool from the 90’s ......but I suspect it’s not as good . That one had a ton of game modes - Killer , UK 8 ball etc .......now I’d pay to play that again on Switch !

Gadget on iOS is an extremely powerful (but very easy and fun to use) music workstation which I already own . Dont think I’d double dip myself but highly recommend it for anybody interested in electronic music making 👍

Yes please . 1080 , Wave Race And Pilotwings 64 . 3 of my all time favourite games . I’d snap up reboots ........or even the original N64 versions on Switch
