It's complete I played a beta a while ago and it rocked. Now Project Naga for FE4 isn't finished yet but you can play the whole game with Beta Version 7.
Not even 20k@360fps would help ACIII. I remember cringing so hard when I met Benjamin Franklin in Boston - and that's what, the second sequence in the game? I never picked it up again.
@SuperCharlie78 Your correction on total hardware sales is right, but the first whole FY was 15,05m not 17,79m so 16,95m represents a 12,7% increase over the same period. 17,79m equals the first whole FY plus March 2017.
@HeroOfCybertron Bloodlines and Kid Dracula are excellent games
If Rondo and SOTN made it instead of Simon's Quest and Adventure this collection would be perfect, but those who bought the earlier release of the duo on the PS4 would be pissed.
I really think LABO VR is doubling as a test for a full-blown VR add-on meant for a Switch revision/successor. I imagine a biker's helmet where you insert the tablet in its visor.
@Indominus_B you're 100% correct. I remember how Arcade to home consoles and computers were handled in the 80's and 90's. Most had to offer a completely new experience (like Ninja Gaiden and Bionic Commando on the NES) to be able to compete. This 12k@720fps discourse would deem the SNES Street Fighter II port "unplayable" -_-
Stadia depends on a good internet connection first and foremost. Not only fast, but steady/reliable. And it won't be available everywhere, despite Google bragging about its worldwide data center web. I'd like to give it a try nonetheless.
@fortius54 actually, the schedule for NESflix fits perfectly if we think about it: licensing complications means the service will have roughly the same library the VC did i.e. ~ 100 NES / 150 Famicom games total. At this rate, it'll take about 2 years to complete this library and, considering a console shelf life of 5-7 years then, well, it fits. SNESflix should be also hold roughly the same library its VC predecessor had, ~ 50 games.
I have a soft spot for Doki Doki Mario and I will have the biggest grin on my face if Wart ever makes a return. Kirby's Adventure is late NES bliss whose technical prowess on 8-bit hardware can only be compared with 'those' Taito games.
Highlights are Yoshi and Pillars of Eternity II (that's for a good collection of great PC games available on the Switch w/ Diablo III and Civ VI) - but those are due on March.
All (arguably) classics but a wasted opportunity to release Joy Mech Fight 'officially' outside Japan - you don't need to read anything to enjoy the game, the menus are easy to figure out.
This pace is still not enough considering the NES/Famicom library. Unless in the plan is do to deliver the same games on the VC - NES has only ~ 100 titles in NA, Famicom has ~150 in Japan (Wii U VC). So with the Switch having a planned 'life' circle of 6-7 years... (100 - 20)/(3 * 12) = 2.222 ~ 2 years and 4 months 'till we have the entire NES VC library on Switch Online.
I expect SNES Online to have 10 games @ start with 2 games added per month, the Wii U VC has only ~ 50 SNES games and ~ 100 Super Famicom games.
Unfortunately I don't have the monetary means to check out everything I think it's worthwhile:
1. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe 2. Travis Strikes Again - No More Heroes 3. Tales of Vesperia - Definitive Edition 4. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 5. RPG Makes MV 6. Pillars of Eternity II - Deadfire
Red Dead 2 could be on the Switch's successor and it would be a good idea for Nintendo to keep the same computer arch - i.e. next gen Tegra SOC - to attract 3rd party developers.
Is this really 30fps? I swear it was 60fps! Smooth and (way) too fast! Not exactly my cup of tea gameplay-wise but I was glad to see Panic Button's technical prowess on this port.
I lost count on how many hours - days, months, even - I've "wasted" on Civ I and II. I don't use my computer to play games anymore so I'm so excited to play Civ VI on the NS...
...perhaps after I finish Ganon on BoTW, of course
I prefer physical but the digital is a way better deal on this one... plus, I'd have to import any extra figurines I may want and that would be $$$ I simply cannot afford right now.
I'm glad the game holds its own without the toys-to-life gimmick anyway.

@SuperCharlie78 12,7% up per FY - which goes from April to March - is correct. 3/2017 was still the last month for the 2016-2017 period. See the chart @ https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/finance/hard_soft/number.html

The amount of NES games on NESflix will be roughly the same we had on VC, ~100 US and ~150 Japan releases.

Don't make promises you cannot keep, Reggie. We know that old software licencing is - at best - a legal limbo and - at worst - a legal hell.
The NES had ~ 700 NA titles, only ~ 1/7 of that made it to VC.

Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For November And December
Oh boy Diablo III and Civilization VI... that's 1000's of hours. It's dangerous, even!
I hope V-Rally 4 is good since the Switch doesn't have that many racing titles.
And now I'm tempted to import both Psikyo collections, too - they're not expensive.
