Anyway I find it HILARIOUS that they say frostbite 2 has issues on the wiiu when it runs on the ps3 and Xbox. Maybe, this is talking to you EA, you should LEARN the hardware differences AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Dumb people are bad. Biased people are bad. Dumb and biased people just make me want to set fire to things.

Zelda characters need to stay. You can't have the triforce incomplete. Sorry but not happening. Just revamp ganondorf the way he SHOULD be. (Btw he's not that slow. He's actually quite fast) I would really like to see more metroid characters. But honestly, there's so many fire emblem characters it'd be impossible to please everyone. In fact there's no way to please everyone with a game like this

What? Of course the wiiu can run it. It's not like the ps4 has been out for a year and developers have had time to work with it. If developers at least worked with the WiiU for the duration that its been out (and not necessarily released anything just worked with it) they'd be so much better off with porting. I mean battlefield was ported to the ps3 and 360. Porting is not an issue. The wiiu I guarantee you can run kingdom hearts 3. It's not like 1 and 2 were that visually impressive. This isn't final fantasy. I'm willing to bet X will look better visually.

@johndevine trivial to you. His job is this game. You don't have to worry about names or who is in it. He has to worry about the game as a whole in every aspect.

@Retro_on_theGo says the guy that doesn't even know what the wiiu can do. MgsV looked awesome but it didn't look that much better than current gen. I'm fairly certain the WiiU can handle it. Look at the deus ex directors cut. That's not far off.

@bezerker99 with a game like WW it has a different graphics scheme and it was easier to upgrade. MM can't be cell shaded and it is one of the classics so they would take extra care not to mess anything up. I would love a console remake of MM. The game pad would be so convenient

Ok wait wait wait hold on, think about this: donkey kong was something they felt they should do. That's fine. However, this isn't the game they developed their new engine for. Obviously. Now with that being said, this doesn't mean they have started developing another game while finishing DK. They did just upscale. I'd still keep an eye on retro.

I disagree. Come holiday season when people are choosing a 400 dollar ps4 or a 300 or 250 dollar wiiu (obviously the xbone is out of the serious threat question) developers will start being comfortable with the wiiu.

@skjia WW was A conclusion to ocarina just as TP was another conclusion. I really can't see how anyone would like WW over SS or TP. I can understand that it's possible and opinions are opinions but WW will always be garbage to me. The game is fun dont get me wrong. It's not the game I hate. It's the characters and how they chose to tell the story and what they chose to put in it. It's just stupid to me.

I didn't say all of us would choose like I would, I mean you're one of...one that I've seen say that, but everyone else I've talked to would either one: say SS is better or they enjoyed WW. Two: hate WW and enjoyed SS or three didn't really care for either. Personally I love SS for its story value because it is more relevant to the OoT timeline than WW was. I will never agree with you but since that's how you want to think than sure. Go ahead, but it's not fact.

@theadrock13 you couldn't be any more wrong than you are right now. WW is one of those Zelda games that derailed from the story that some of us grew up with. That game was the worst and spawned a bunch of embarrassing handheld Zelda games. TP and SS were amazing. Not OoT amazing but they definitely held what made Zelda so great. Not WW. To me, personally, an HD remake should NEVER have been wasted on WW. Why? Because if you list the Zelda favorites by the generation that grew up playing it from the beginning, WW wouldn't be near even the middle. It's not garbage, but it's not worthy of a remake and OoT gets the handheld treatment. That's absurd. Honestly, I'd have taken a TP HD remake. That would have been astronomically better.

Oh. One more thing. STOP WITH THE 3DS WANTS. Nintendo needs to make IP's for the wiiu. That is the whole point. No metroid or star fox for the 3ds unless they have a real console game lined up. I'm really sick of this 3DS whoring and i own one. I want more wiiu and I think everyone else does too.

I'm going to start with this: I read every comment and honestly, I am surprised at how terrible some of Nintendo's fan base is currently. At the very least every other Sony and Microsoft fanboy I've met is more into their own shallow arguments of why they are "better". 'We have live and halo and gears and a better CoD' 'well we have a free online, better hardware, more exclusives than you do.'
As Nintendo fans we should all be laughing at that. Even with the Wii all of us had better games, for the most part. I spent months. Years. Playing Zelda, metroid and smash. I spent a week with halo. The only games not Nintendo related that I spent a year plus on was battlefield and elder scrolls. Neither are Sony and Microsoft exclusives. We have a pedigree of depth and awesome yet half of you are so quick to jump ship WHEN YOU MADE IT THROUGH THE PAST 7 YEARS. The wiiu isn't as powerful as the ps4 but its not too far off either.
As far as this decision, I've read a few comments that hit the nail on the head. Use E3 for what it's supposed to be used for and who is there. Advertisement? At E3? Give me a break. I've heard more news at GameStop about the WiiU than what I would hear at E3. Do you know how many people read game informer? Nintendo showing the press exclusivity to their software....the same guys that write for sites and articles (like in game informer) that have millions of viewers? Catching people off guard after the new console shimmer is GENIUS. Any of you like the guy that said 'RIP Nintendo' and the idiot that agreed..well honestly we don't need you. You can't fix stupid. Nintendo isn't surrendering they are thinking. They don't need to compete. They need to sell. Remember, you can't buy Zelda, metroid, or other Nintendo exclusives on a Xbox or PlayStation. That is their biggest weapon.

I'm glad this is happening. I was never a huge SC fan but...yeah. I'll get it to support Nintendo.

Anyways, why get an Xbox when the ps4 will be better in every way? There's no point to buy a '720' when you have to factor in live cost and whatever game. I personally have no issue on dropping almost a grand on ps4 stuff. That's just me. I have the means to. And I truly believe Sony will be more worth it than that of micro-ripoff.

Whoa whoa...I've seen the wiiu push out some amazing looking visuals. It is obviously stronger than current gen. To say otherwise is idiotic. Now....if this is all true. I'm expecting the ps4 to run BF4 almost PC quality. Because thats how some people are making the gap out to be.

Um...no it is definitely NOT last gens tech. If that was the case then the possibility of games looking better on the wiiu than current gen wouldnt be there. Its a next gen (console) gpu with a modified cpu architecture. Honestly, its not that much weaker than the ps4 gpu than people are inclined to think considering the ps4 isnt that much stronger than the ps3. What kills me is the fact that the ps4's architecture is very similar to the wiiu's yet developers aren't saying anything about "oh its so hard to develop for etc." What nintendo needs to do is create a without a doubt BEAST of a system to get the entire industry on its side. I understand innovation. I love that. But maybe a longer lasting expensive system with an extensive library of its exclusives and a long list of 3rd party that of which 25% are decent is what nintendo needs. Its no longer elitist children they have to worry about. Its elitist developers.

One: 360 Hardware? Please. Its maybe one step lower than the ps4, graphically.
Two: I'm interested to see the age of half of you commenting. If you weren't old enough to play the SNES and coherently remember it, you shouldn't be commenting and create a facade of nintendo intelligence.
Three: Classified info is a biznitch isn't it? We have no idea what Nintendo has planned. Within ignorance comes speculation which in turn creates madness. However, history has shown that in the midst of chaos humanity has made the greatest strides. (Dumb version): back a beast like nintendo into a wall and you will regret it.

I don't get why this is even an issue.... Think about this: you make a product that you want people to enjoy. You take the time to optimize it, not needing to necessarily, for a new audience and take a risk doing so. Why....on God's green earth would you take money out of your pocket to make additions that you won't profit from? Developers, and yes EA as well, are people too.

Sounds pretty fair and sort of what i expected. However, my one issue is the resistive touchscreen deal. It seems that this game is the ONLY game where that has been an issue. Even with my gamepad ive never had a problem. So i wouldnt point the finger at the hardware.

@Savino whoa what? How is it mediocre? Its head and shoulders above 2 and i'd say the gameplay is better than 1. Ive gotten a couple hours in and ive had multiple OHpoopiedoodledingdongs moments. I disagree with mediocre its definitely above average.

@Will-75 im sorry what? Sony at the least has been more into their consumers and good with their releases than microsoft. As fascist as Microsoft is im surprised no one mentioned how bad they are. When it comes to trash talk microsoft is the worst. Maybe not in sales or multiplatform games, which i contribute to developers being all over microsofts 'D' , the ps3 is the superior piece of hardware and superior in exclusives, content, and more for your money (psplus) deals. Sony can say what they want. I dont care. The PlayStation will always top microsoft.

@HawkeyeWii what are you talking about? Exclusives Lost? Nintendo lost gaiden a WHILE ago. Bayonetta still is an exclusive rayman is hardly a worthy exclusive (imo) to be heartbroken about losing. Mario, metroid, zelda, etc those are exclusives. Who cares about the others
