I'm afraid so. Both games I was so looking forward to replaying but are missing from the switch version and I don't think Sega has explained why yet.
I didn't think to check reviews before purchase because I assumed it was the exact Same collection....ah well
Still to have this collection portable, I still say its definitely worth it.
Also mine is the pal version but I think its the same as the ntsc vesion.

I got my copy early and I have to say this is a great collection of Sega games.
Enjoying going through some of my favourites and having fun playing some of the other regional versions, particularly bare knuckle 3
Only have two gripes.
No wonder boy 3 or wonder boy in monster world like the other versions :/
And I've noticed some button lag in certain games. Particularly sonic 2.
Nothing game breaking but its noticeable.
Still for £30 it's a steal
No virtual console, this is definitely the next best thing.

Its a great collection of retro games presented well.
Only disappointed by the lack of the wonder boy games which are present in other versions.
Despite that my inner 90's kid is having a blast with this

I wouldn't dare ask for more.
The updates have only added more and more charm to an already charmed filled game.
Happy with all we have gotten from the developers and I cannot wait to see what new ideas they implement in the next Kirby game.

Fair point.
I think I just remembered things like the psp go being a bit naff and hard to sell. Plus those I knew who had one traded them in,myself included.

Sony have failed twice in the handheld market and I never saw this rumor holding any water.
They currently are on fire in the home console market and seem to be more focused on exclusives and the games as opposed to new hardware (outside a PS5)
Handheld gaming is Nintendo's realm and no one has come close to their success in this market.

Not gonna say its a masterpiece or the best Kirby game but things like this keep me playing long after I thought I was done.

I agree with alot of people who want to play this without the motion controls. It would be nice but I unfortunately dont see it happening.
The wiimote was intrical to both combat and puzzles so to remove motion controls could harm the overall experience and gameplay as a whole.

Its such a nice thing.
Too rich for my blood but damn is that so cool.

These adverts are wonderfully fun.
How cool of a mechanic would that be if you could smash a player from one stage to another with different fighters already in mid battle.
Keep it to 4 characters per stage and maximum of 4 stages to smash into and things would be so crazy.

Finally on the epilogue for Red Dead Redemption 2. Gonna blast through that then return to Octopath Traveler.
Also have a copy of Sushi Striker arriving today. £12.99 from ebay for a new copy on the switch if anyone is after a cheap copy

Thats kinda what i wanted it for. I travel alot and usually the switch dies long before my destination. Gives me a reason to show my 3ds love but yeah looking to keep the switch running.
And for cheap too lol.
Ah well keeping my peepers open for something else.

Timeline and continuity or just lots of Easter eggs and nods peppered into the games that we've tried to link into a gratifying narrative, forcing the creators to come up with one 😜
Either way it has admittedly been alot of fun to talk about and others POV on the subject.

I picked up the Samsung pro 256gb last week for £60 and wish I had waited for this instead lol
For the price its a steal and I doubt many would have memory issues for the switches life cycle.

The piranha plant as a player character was a bold move.....but totally agree with his inclusion.
Love how unpredictable it was and it looks like will be alot of fun to play around with.
Its the playable character I never knew I wanted

I'm so grateful for all his hard work over the years making these amazing games that I cherish fondly.
I really hope ultimate is his swansong and he gets the much deserved rest he has most definitely earned. The guy has sacrificed so much for his craft and I think now is the time for him to move forward and concentrate on himself and his own ambitions.

That's a good bundle deal.
Shame the games on offer are rather limited but some real gems in there.

Now to suit up and prepare for all the carnage this weekend.

Its not really an issue for me.
Theirs content aplenty for multiplayer and this is catered for those who want that single player content and experience in Smash.

Your telling me my switch is more powerful than my new 3ds.......get outta here.

All I'd like I anew revision is a bigger battery and maybe figure out a way to make those buttons on the left joycon interchangeable with a solid d-pad.
Apart from that I think the screen size is pretty much spot on. Maybe work on the clarity of the speakers too.
But as is the system is still a damn fine system.

I'm just assuming this video is specifically aimed at those getting the themed console but still......the possibility of a stronger console or a mini is a nice thought.
Just please no "exclusives" that will work better on the new than the old Nintendo. Like how hyrule warriors was nearly unplayable on anything other than a new 3ds.

True but I see alot of people just wanting to play with their favourite characters or just mess around with the larger roster.
Me personally I just wish they were all accessible from the start for normal play, and then have the grind to unlock and use them in the story mode separately.

Yeah I'm sure that is it.
I think the grind for characters should be short. As others have pointed out theirs many ways to sink hours into this game without the roster being locked away.
Some will just want to play with friends or online with everyone available and dont have the time to grind out a certain character like Say how mewtwo was locked in melee.

I think that's a good call.
But then why lock them in the first place?

This game has me bouncing off the wall in anticipation.
So much content for all and I don't see it leaving my switch any time soon after I put in that cartridge.

That's why I was so tempted by the price too.
I figured £20 for the game and £20 for the ship and figures isn't too bad at all.
Its just I know playing it and seeing things I cannot do without shelling out extra cash will rub me the wrong way and I'll stop playing.
If this were physical and everything available I'd be picking it up no problem.
Its just the practice of selling a game with locked, finished content will always feel scummy to me.

That's ok. Alot of what I said was quick reading and assumption that the typical toys to life structure was being used.
Though reading all of these comments it doesn't give me great encouragement to go buy.

Am I wrong thinking its the physical version needs the toys for the unlocks?
Theirs so many differing versions I forget which ones provide which.

I was soooo tempted to buy this the weekend at smithies.
But just paid for a new micro SD for my switch and have the SSBU collectors edition pre ordered.

Also its Christmas so kinda need to buy gifts for others

Still I cannot support this as the games content is locked behind those toys and really that's what put me off of picking it up.

Its wonderful all these indi games are getting recognised and doing well on Nintendo platforms.
All those worries about the typical 3rd party devs supporting Nintendo..... Alot of quality games come from the indi developers and I'm glad its paying off for them to encourage new content.
