Yeah I don't think Nintendo learned anything from the NES mini. They should have released that console this Christmas again and saved the SNES mini for a time when there is no more demand for the NES (something that could literally be printing money for them..)

I'd much rather have a Virtual Console for Switch than a novelty console that will be available at about 5 units per store and then disappear before anyone can buy it.

I used to appreciate your comments as someone who wasn't always blinded by Nintendo fandom and could call them out on their problems but man are these comments annoying at this point. You're legitimately un-pleasable and such a downer. Maybe instead of pointing out every problem just to cause a rise provide a constucive and conversational comment. Yes the system is not perfect, and yes it needs the things you listed but how about not mentioning them on every article just because?

So far I really likl it, but I'm so terrible at the game. Online party mode is fantasic though! Loving the lobby system and the way matches ha;pen so quickly and seamlessly wihtout disconnects (as of yet).

@snailkid It will come. They always slowly roll-out articles after a large amount of announcements.

In terms of this game, it looks amazing. Mario Galaxy + Mario 64 + tons of other amazing new features = must-have switch title. With this it is no wonder that Pokemon isn't out on switch this year... Nintendo would never have enough systems

@Galactus_33 The announcement said CORE title, not spin-off.

The game has now been confirmed by Ubisoft. Out in September of this year.

@Cosats You think its silly to expect a modern day UI to allow a basic feature that's existed for years? I love my Switch but come on, it is absolutely ridiculous that the system didn't allow such a basic feature at launch.

@manu0 When I've left my switch in sleep mode and not used it for more than two or three days, it tends to freeze up when I go back to using it.

Color me surprised. Not sure what to think, although it definetely looks sleek. Seems unnecessary though.

Tried on two separate days to connect and I could never connect to a match. I don't know if it is just my college's wifi not working well with my switch but it wasn't a good sign for me. All my other gaming devices connect fine to online games at my school.

I hope this means more Pro Controllers too. I have my system but was stupid and didn't grab a pro controller and now I regret that.

I really wish I could find a Pro Controller somewhere. That's the way I want to play Splatoon.

Cool. The weapon electricity thing is especially awesome.

I'll get it when it goes on sale if it gets good reviews. No need to reward greedy dev behaviors right now.

Yeah between school and lack of cash I'll grab one this summer when we know more games. I believe that within a year's time this console will have a decent library of games with a promising future of many more (especially when the 3DS is dead)

While the presentation was disappointing to a degree remember:
This is now Nitnendo's handheld AND console. Games will all come to this one system so we will never get as little games we did on the Wii U and the 3DS has gotten tons of great games. Now they have one machine to develop for once 3DS is done after this year. Pokémon will end up getting future games on this system in the next few years and I believe it will be successful.

I'm not getting one on launch day but I will in the next year

@Alundra-1998 it already has the option to removed all weeds forever. You have to put in place the gardening ordinance.

@ReshiramZekrom Mne did the thing with the rainbow colors, but instead of music it was buzzing and none of the buttons worked except for POWER

Fire Emblem demo was awesome and made me go out and pre-order the full game today! Can't wait for February 4th!

@SethNintendo Had the same issue on the train boos. The Screen turned black and made a buzzing sound and i had to restart the system.

Graphics look pretty bad. Music is annoying too...

To play you probably scratch a record on the bottom screen while watching the notes on the top screen.

I got this and i REALLY don't like it. I delted it almost right away. It has bad controls and you cant see very well with the 2-color, color sceme
