Breath of the Wild on the NX has been said to have "improved graphics" from the Wii U version. But of the NX really is a portable with PS3 level power, is that really possible? I know Nintendo often work really well with older hardware, but this seems a little unusual to me.

I can't remember the exact details, but a couple of years ago didn't AMD say they were making a chip for a new device "to be revealed in 2016"? I still find it a little hard to believe NX will launch this year, but I guess we have to wait and see

Nintendo's gearing up for the next big thing: THREE SCREENS!
But man, it is sad seeing the DS being phased out. Hopefully my 3DS won't die for a few years yet!

Thankfully preordered within minutes... I don't trust GAME after past experiences, but I hope everyone is able to grab a copy in some way!

I don't think any company is safe from "leaks" anymore, whether they be real or fake ones in an attempt for someone to be noticed. I really enjoys surprises from any company, but sadly many of these are now easily ruined. Remember Roy and Ryu?

I'm just thankful for a Fire Emblem launch date! I'm also really excited for Tokyo Mirage Sessions too, I just hope it's not a download-only title

This was a really fun Splatfest! I was Team Blue, had a 9 game win streak, lost a few games. Team Red played well though!

I'm onto my third run of Bravely Default, and hopefully this time I'll actually complete it: that one particular boss on Grandship obliterated my party at every attempt! Second looks fantastic, so I'll be sure to pick it up once I finish Default.

As interesting as these rumours are, I really want to know what the NX actually is before I start getting hopeful!

I jumped on the Ambassador Edition, and really love it! Just a shame there are only 2 exclusives to it from my point of view: I'd love to see a new game take full advantage of it, although Xenoblade 3D is a phenomenal achievement!

I will honestly be surprised if the NX launches this year, given that we know nothing about it. We all know the 3DS isn't selling as well as it was a while back, and the Wii U isn't the blockbuster Nintendo hoped it would be, but I still find it hard to believe it will launch this year: it just feels a bit rushed, as the Wii U isn't even 4 yet. Nintendo really are being secretive about this, I just hope we get some information soon!

Bayonetta was the one character I was really hoping for besides Shulk in the run up to the game's launch... I'm so hyped for this!

And I'm here waiting for Dai Gyakuten Saiban... Don't think it will ever launch in the west, but I'm holding out a little hope!

I do think it's a shame that us Wii U owners can't access the new characters without the 3DS entry, but it's good that 3DS owners without a Wii U can try it. And with the game performing better on the New 3DS, this probably explains the slight jump in hardware sales.

This sounds fantastic so far! Now all we neeed is a Europe release date...
