Didn't finish it on WiiU either, but loved it and I am a bit tempted to double dip. At the same time though, double dipping is a habit that I am trying to break (with maybe a few exceptions)!

@Gravedigga13
I know the game, played it for a while on PS3, got the complete edition on Steam and sits on my backlog. I want to know the specifics of the Switch version. I already decided not to get Skyrim, have played it for hundreds of hours on Steam as well. All of you that get this in the Switch, enjoy!

Some masterpieces there, remastered and a load of other gems too. They can basically run on any PC/laptop.

I played it on a monster PC and had a great time. But I will definitely double dip, because I want to support such moves from big publishers. Also, Doom on a handheld, how cool is that?!?

@SLIGEACH_EIRE
One of the few times that I absolutely agree you. We are talking about a product that reviewers should inform readers about its quality. This is an aged game, albeit a good one, not a remaster - it could be justified as one, where they didn't even make the minimum effort to make it on par with modern standards. The price for this is ridiculous.

Some people never bothered with the WiiU and they may not even know if a certain game is a port or a new game. That game may also be superior or inferior to the original, so it makes sense to review it again.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry on the 'Custom' Merits of FIFA 18 on Nintendo Switch

The Switch is popular right now, for reasons outside its power. People who are interested in it know what they are getting. I bought Fifa and I am really happy with it. Nintendo has done a very good job communicating the system's strengths and made the right choises to address ease of development and multiple game engines support. As stated, the most obvious and unfortunate weakness is its online adaptation.

Re: Gamevice Launches Patent Case Against the Nintendo Switch and Joy-Con Concept

They are after making more money by suing a popular device than by selling their actual product. These kind of tactics deserve to crash and burn. I mean, smartphones existed before the iPhone, but they were practically worthless. Nintendo improved on a lot of established concepts with the Switch and they deserve its commercial success. If this were the case on everything, Alexander Graham Bell's heirs should sue practically everyone and then go back to the stone age.
