The video quality is unnecessarily bad, menus are slow to respond and load, and the app keeps crashing returning me to the 3ds firmware.

I will try pairing it with my xbox later because controlling my MS xbox with my Nintendo 3ds will be an interesting experience. I will probably stick with my low end tablet though until they can fix the 3ds app.

Reminds me of Rom City Rampage/Grand Theft Tendo, I like the idea of making modern games for old platform so i hope this trend continues to spread.

Not sure that this is quite clear enough to parents but its got to help, i think they need to explain its not just a tablet for your wii but the 2 free games should help, anyway what are the free games are the the bundled games or time limited free downloadable games (like they did to sell the 3ds)

Cant argue with free, never having played the original i will give this a shot,
I bet you pay for more subs or something but knowing nintendo they wont leave us with a boring mess of a game that requires dlc to get interesting.

@Tasuki Oh trust me there are far far worse titles on the NES, I have played this on a famiclone on one of those bazillion games in one carts, it was pretty bad but there are far worse out there lurking in the shadows

@sdelfin Your not missing much with scart the pins are very iffy and the Weight of the scart connection and cable often pull it out of the socket just enough to ruin the image but move so little that you don't know until you turn the console on, they are a royal pain in the backside

ahh this was before the console cycles were set in motion so no one knew what to expect,
seems that despite superior graphics and shooters taking over platformers as the popular genre that the gaming industry or its target audiance hasn't changed in the slightest,
There were a lot of copy and paste platformers in the day so this fad of copy and paste cash in shooters isnt even new

Yayy for science, it was kinda obvious but nice to see it proved. as an autistic child with very poor vision in my left eye i had badddd hand eye coordination, so my parents let me play games in order to improve it which seems to of worked very well. Problem is that im now an addict i played about 12hs of gta online the other day barely getting up or eating much, I think its got beyond a hobby

Don't own a wii u I have a wii but no balance board, to be honest I'd rather get a kinnect at least that has other uses than fiitness bossing my xbox about and yelling grenade for no real reason

Ahh but there lies the problem I don't have a card or bank account, as of yet I've had no need for a bank account and the banks make it difficult to get account if you don't have a passport or drivers licence.

Hm sonic and streets of rage or a dead cert but since you have to buy ninty credit in £15 and £25 i guess il pick up a 3rd one,

you can turn exp share off in your key items menu and grind your pokemon the old way, I like having it but i must admit so far this game is even easier than usual, I think I blacked out once, I'm at gym badge 5 now
(yes it says "blacked out" again instead of "whited out" now that they have worked out black people aren't insulted by the term blacked out)

I'm so used to buying games months/years after release that im used to there being fully complete wiki's detailing everything you could ever want to know that its annoying not being to find much info out

@Spoony_Tech thanks didn't think of that, might wait for some 3ds video reviews before i make my mind up. I have pokemon x and steam world dig(on sale) so my 3ds is kitted out for the time being just need more home console games so gta v (although im more interested in gta online) seems like a safe bet

Ign gave the wii u version a bad score, not that id normally go by ign reviews but the reviewer sounded like they actually played sonic games... so much potential what on earth happened to it all??

i guess as i preordered it already i will still pick it up but cant deny that im a little disappointed by dimps yet again (if the review is accurate).

however i have the AC NL 3ds xl so im happy with that, I had ACWW skins on my ds's for years now so im glad they released an official AC edition 3ds

I got pikachu in the forest at the start, in the last patch of grass not long after a battle with the Lass with a pikachu

got mine,
picked the fire fox pokemon "called it Moz short for mozilla {get it?},
Now i have the torchic and pikachu (and soon charmander) feeling a little guilty for abandoning my starter so soon.
going to try and put to gether a team of all skybattle compatible pkmn when i get more. I really want a gardevour though i wonder how far through the game they are

I like the idea of a Pokemon yellow remake, id definitely get that, pokemon yellow was my first pokemon game.
as for that ds tech demo featuring pikachu that's probably been scrapped entirely and reused for pokemon-a-me in X&Y

I'm a Lindsey fan so i watched this the second i noticed it on youtube, epic as always.

@rjejr Sonic adventure is my fave game of all time, yea windy valley is a classic, there's a few nods to sonic 3d flickys island in windy valley.
The game looks great, have pre ordered the 3ds version for two reasons
1 I dont have a wii u
2 I'm hyped for a true 3d portable sonic game

I know people like to hate the XL but who can argue with bigger screens and a better battery life, not to mention I think the XLs look a lot nicer in comparison to the standard 3ds

Hmm, seriously gamefreak your using cell shaded graphics which make it notoriously easy to make good looking games on limited hardware (just look at the dreamcast).
and yes the game looks good but it doesn't look omg thats pushing the 3ds to its limits good it looks fairly average with a nice artstyle thats all. I don't expect fancy graphics from a pokemon game I just expect it to look clean and be easy on the eyes.
I don't use the 3d all the time but I was really looking forward to playing pokemon in full 3d, a bit of a disappointment but not enough to cancel my pre-order. Must try harder.. or atleast come up with a decent excuse

that sucks just because they have a 2ds now doesn't mean that they should start dropping the 3d as standard, not that I use the 3d much but still I like to put the 3d up to 11 at times to see my games with a nice bit of depth,
I always imagine reaching into the screen and pulling out my animal crossing character like a little toy.

I turn mine off but i'm all ways amazed by how little charge it uses in sleep mode particularly with wireless off when walking the dog, i use sleep mode in town though and get 1-3 street pass's

When? this is one of my fave all time classics, Ninty EU release it already!!

I actually really like this idea, out of my price range but i would defiantly get one if i had the money going spare.
