I'm beginning to think they don't realise they never got around to releasing Dr Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training, but like @Tobias95 I'm hoping it gets a release at some point.
Other hopes: New 3DS release date and news that there will be a soundtrack CD for Majora's Mask 3D.
When I first heard about HD Wind Waker I had no plans to buy it... and I still don't. I hope they're not planning on doing this with too many Gamecube games. I'd rather just download the original versions from the eShop than pay extra because they've pressed the "Make HD" button.
Actually I reckon it will turn out to be a 3D platformer. Super Mario = Super Mario 64* Super Mario 2 = Super Mario Sunshine Super Mario 3 = Super Mario Galaxy/Super Mario Galaxy 2
*I recall it actually did drop the "64" for the iQue version.
@Portista It's Battle City, one of the games on Namco Gallery Vol. 1. The original arcade game was known as Tank Battalion (as was the MSX port apparently).
I suppose now is a good time to remind everyone we have a complete set of Virtual Boy reviews here at Nintendo Life. So why not have a look - there might be something you've never heard of/forgotten about that appeals.
@Bulbasaurus Rex As Mr O'Neill mentioned it's a regional habit.
@HugoSmits The problem with the speed is the inconstancy. What you say about the uppercut is right, but here it just seems off and it leaves you there a touch too long. Also it's hard to apply any kind of "strategy" when the controls have such problems. The MK2 port was much better.
Good read. It's a great compilation and I've had lots of fun with it (although I'm rubbish at a couple of the games). I liked the quiz too. Will have to dig it out again at some point.
Back when the game was first previewed I thought this looked a promising game and my first impressions all these years later are that it's a good 'un. The 3D is used to great effect.
@pikmaniac02 Original release didn't carry a rating, but the later released Mortal Kombat & Mortal Kombat II compilation was rated Teen (ESRB) and 15+(ELSPA).
I've been playing a bit of Game & Watch recently through the G&W Gallery series and I actually dug out the original version of this article a few days ago. Excellent read Damo.
Good review. Never actually played this despite being a big Star Wars fan - and I read the SOTE novel and comics. I knew it had problems but was unaware of the specifics. Still tempted to give it a try if it turned up on VC, though I might opt to save a few quid and get the PC version instead.
There was a trick to getting Volume 2 to work on a PAL Gamecube with freeloader - it may have worked for volume 3 as well but I never had it so... dunno.
Anyway I sold my cube before getting a Wii and an early system update rendered the freeloader useless which is very irritating.
The thing with the Virtual Boy is that although in some cases you are not getting your money's worth, 18 (arguably 19) of the 22 games are still affordable - assuming you don't go with some crazy eBay BIN price.
The others may come down in price... they may not… but there was an opportunity to have a complete set of game reviews for a Nintendo system so... why not?
And that is them all reviewed now. Thanks for reading people
Sony seem to have improved going by the PS3 figure. The original Playstation especially was very unreliable - every owner I know (myself included) had at least one replacement. No wonder it sold so many.
Only Nintendo console I've ever had to replace is my SNES but as that had coffee and fruit juice spill in to it - and then a TV fall on it - and it still kept going for about 15 years I think that's pretty impressive.
Hopefully the 20 will just be limited to the original green and black, as when discussing the orignal people tend to throw in a load of SGB games - not that there's anything wrong with them (and colour aside they largely functioned fine) but it does mean that a lot of great games get overlooked.
Tetris seems like a must and I'd second the vote for Fall of the Foot Clan. I haven't played since I saw a cousin in the early 90's but Bill & Ted's was fun (though I only recall seeing one good review for it). Game Boy Mortal Kombat II was excellent. Final suggestion (again a bit obvious): Metroid II.

I thought this was well known. I remember reading about it in magazines.

Re: Tri-Strip Brings That Vintage Game Boy Feel To Your Wii U
That matches the classic look well. Hope they think to include a virtual contrast dial somewhere though. Perhaps controlled with the right stick.
Re: SEGA Confirms Second Batch of 3D Classics for the West
Excellent. I've been looking forward to 3D OutRun.
Re: Review: Woah Dave! (3DS eShop)
I was interested as soon as I saw the name, but it does sound like something I'd like. I think I'll pick it up when it arrives over here.
Re: Review: Donkey Kong Land (3DS eShop / Game Boy)
@Specter_Twilight Some Kremlings stole the "a", so we stuck another "e" in there until @ThomasBW84 can put on his gorilla suit and get it back for us.

@Damo @HopeNForever I always thought being able to flip the screen and so make the d-pad and buttons switch sides on the Lynx was a cool feature.
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th July (Europe)
I'd given up on ever seeing Petit Computer but wahaay it's finally here. I'll definitely grab that for [whatever 800 dsi points is in really money].

I know it's only 30p, but I've had enough of this. 50hz=No Sale.
Re: Want to Know The Real Reason Star Fox Was Renamed in Europe?
And now I can't get "Star Vox" out of my head.
Semi-interesting fact: For its iQue release 'Star Fox 64' was simply called 'Star Fox'.
Re: Nintendo Buys Supermario4.com Web Domain
Actually I reckon it will turn out to be a 3D platformer.
Super Mario = Super Mario 64*
Super Mario 2 = Super Mario Sunshine

Cool looking pad.
Re: Review: Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
Good read Corbie. I'll pick this up when it's released (whenever that is).
Does anyone else keep reading the game title as 'Kirby's Epic Yam'?
Re: Review: Another World (Super Nintendo)
Great review Daz. A top game with a stylish look. Took me a while to get used to setting up forcefields but I like this game a lot.

The 119 million is combined sales for Game Boy, GB Pocket and GB Color. If you include GBA/SP/Micro then the figure is around 200 million.

Re: Feature: Becoming a Nintendo Game & Watch Collector
@StarDust: Actually the jump button was combined with "time", so the warp still works.
Re: Feature: Becoming a Nintendo Game & Watch Collector
@StarBoy91: It sounds like you had one of the "Mini-Classics" range. A few G&W's were reissued like that along with some new titles.

Price-wise Gundam used to be quite close to Virtual Bowling, but now Bowling is by far the most expensive.
