@Friendly if they were going back to pixelated versions, i think GF will have quite some backlash from people telling them they are behind the times and that kind of stuff. I feel that Pokemon right now is going in the right direction with the open world premise. They just have to optimize and bugfix a lot more often. I hope that TPC will give them more time in the future.

@Snatcher The Witcher looks good because it is downgraded on almost every front. I feel that some of these "magical" ports are literally the most downgraded games i've ever seen. yes okay they play without any issues. But you have to atleast balance the resolution with the performance. I've heard that Pokemon S/V play much better in handheld mode due to the resolution being lower. So i guess it has to do with the hardware. Also i am curious how this game will run when it is actually being played on an emulator on PC. Because BOTW is capable of running in 60 FPS on Cemu. So if Pokemon S/V are capable to do 60 fps on emulation front. Then we know the answer to the issues.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch OLED Model Vs Steam Deck

I feel this whole comparison has a big nintendo fanboy scale to it. We all know you are Nintendo Life but saying stuff that the Nintendo Switch is better because of the game offerings is just a huge lie. The Steam Deck is capable of running so many switch games with better graphics and framerates than the switch oled could. It has the biggest game library available to men kind. You can also play 3DS, Gamecube, Switch, DS, NES, SNES, Wii, Wii U, Virtual Boy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Nintendo 64. Not only that but every single playstation, microsoft and sega console which don't include the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X are playable on the Steam Deck. Furthermore, it's comparing apples with oranges. The switch is meant for a more casual audience, while the steam deck is for more hardcore gamers who play a lot of games and are also familiar with the pc environment.

Next time that you do a comparison like this one, get yourself more updated and stop wearing your nintendo glasses. Thanks.
