Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (22nd August)

My adventure with Persona 5 Royal still goes strong! I've been doing well, I've been feeling very insecure with how well I am doing, but I am making progress.
There's just that worry that I won't max out every confidant. But there's still a lot of time left.

I'll also be playing more Pokémon GO, there is the Mega Starmie event, but I am not sure if I am in the mood for it.

I am currently playing Persona 5 Royal, 8 hours in I am still very early, just secured the route through the 1st palace, so soon it's time to send the calling card.
However, I also need to work on my social stats and confidants which I should have plenty of time for... I hope.
Like I said last week, I've played it before, but I always played my Persona games with a guide because I am not very confident. But I really want try if I can do it without, and the best way to check it is with a game I have played before. Let's hope that my decision paralysis won't get to me.

I nearly forgot about this, but while I am at the end of the weekend, I can still talk about it.

Because of an event in Amsterdam I did not have a lot of time this weekend to play, but I still had a good time.
I just finished Splatoon Raiders and it has been amazing, I know that there's a postgame with a lot of content, but I feel like playing it in between.
Because my next big game is going to be a game that I've played before, but this time on the Switch. There was (maybe it's still up) sale of the bundle of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden & Persona 5 Royal. And it is a big sale.
And I've been thinking about replaying Persona 5 Royal for a while, so it's time to start right after I post this. Let's see if I know enough about Persona now.

This is a fun weekend for me.
Just like many people, I got Splatoon Raiders, I did get it a day late because the delivery people forgot how to ring a doorbell, so I could pick it a day later. But the first few hours have been a lot of fun.
Another fun weekend of Pokémon GO, I was finally able to get Mega Rayquaza!
And like always I play some Mario Kart World in between.

These past few weekends I've spent a lot of time outside playing Pokémon GO
Last weekend was the Pokémon GO fest and this weekend it's the Mega Raichu raid weekend, got myself enough to get both Mega's.

Also playing some Mario Kart World and I am doing not bad. I still haven't won an online race, but I got close quite a few times. And that shows that I am improving.

And finally on the PS5 I am still slowly going through 007: First Light

This weekend will be about two games:
It is my first time playing a Star Fox game, I've never played one before, I did one route and I had fun, going to see how it will go when I do a 2nd route.
And The Adventure of Elliot: The Millennium Tales still continues! I am having a lot of fun with this game and am very invested in the story.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is my main game currently, I am close to the end of the main story, and after that it's time for the most game. I am surprised with how much there is (especially when certain things take some time for reasons)
Not on the Switch 2 I am planning to play 007 First Light.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Playing Final Fantasy XIV Online On Switch 2?

biertje373

Probably not, I love Final Fantasy XIV, but I kind of quit because of online anxiety and a low self esteem. So yeah, got nothing to do with the game but 100% to do with me.
I am really happy that it's coming to the Switch 2 though, the game got me through a lot of stuff, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

Re: Talking Point: E3 Leaks Are Inevitable, But Do You Actually Want To Know?

biertje373

I honestly dislike leaks with a passion, I am okay if other people are okay with it, but the problem that I have with it is that quite a few of them feel the need to shove it down everyone's throut and then once someone says something of the line of "Thanks for spoiling it, I did not want to know it" those few people make up excuses why it's fine that they spoiled the ones who didn't, going with "It's not about the surprise, it's about seeing it" or "But it's already confirmed so why does it matter?".
I am not saying that every single one of them is like that, but some of them are that selfish that it's okay for them to spoil others. Recently I unsubbed from someone because the majority of his content became leak/rumour video's that I was just like "I may return, but for now I am done with you" because I got bored of them.
Even with the Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC, it was all over the place, every single year I was really hoping for a reveal to a 2nd Mario + Rabbids game (or any Nintendo IP + Rabbids game), it was always in my top 5 games that I wanted to see, and then hours before the Ubisoft Forward it got leaked. Honestly, it would've gotten a genuin reaction out of me, but instead I was just waiting for the trailer because it was all over the internet, I was still really excited to see it but I wonder what my reaction would've been if it wasn't leaked.
So yeah, long story short, I am very anti leak/rumour.
