Ugh terrible, no VC games!

After this gaming was changed forever, a master class in how to make 3D games. I saw this running in a games shop and started running myself, home to get my Playstation to trade it in for an N64!

Zelda is the Wii U release I am STILL waiting for!

I am over ten years old so I am as excited for this as I was by Splatoon, not even a little.

Full length Pikmin movie made under the supervision of Miyamoto would be good, the shorts are excellent.

If this is the NX and has no disc drive it could still be backwards compatible with the Wii U. One way of doing it could be connecting it to your Wii U and installing them to the NX hard drive like how you install an xbox 360 game. You can then use your Gamepad with the NX or maybe it will come with a new improved compatible Gamepad. It sounds fiddly but will stop a lot of people complaining.

I predict that we will get a Megaman game in next weeks download, if there's any left to release lol 😁

Picked this up sealed for £5 from Tesco, it's a classic and irresistible at that price!

SMG 1 and 2 are for me the two best Mario games of all time, fun and imaginative.

@TheRealThanos Ok you have piqued my interest, especially the scaling up or down as needed bit. We seem to be getting closer to a general agreement here, by the time it's released we will be in full agreement I reckon.

@TheRealThanos We will have to wait and see I guess but I still think it will be a hybrid or if not a home console with the option of purchasing the handheld portion at a later date.

NX is a great name compared to Wii or Wii U

NX means Nintendo Cross Play

NX will be out by Christmas next year too, calling it now.

@FragRed It will be a hybrid, how many Wii U owners wanted to play FE Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 2? How many 3ds owners would love to play Pikmin 3 and Bayonetta 2? Don't you see that if Nintendo are developing for one console we will get twice as many games. Their biggest problem has been releasing enough quality games but if they develop for one hybrid console then problem solved!

Why don't Nintendo release their own hard drive for the Wii U?

@Pablo17 I agree, this game will probably be around 10gb in size which makes the 32gb Wii U Premium storage seem ridiculous.

@MikeW It is possible but I seem to remember the Super FX chip was developed with Argonaut I think so that's the problem. This chip licensing must be the problem and that's why we have had no Stunt Race FX, Starfox or the original snes version of Yoshi's Island on Wii or Wii U VC. I want to see Starfox just as much as you do but I can't see it happening.

@MikeW Don't bother waiting for SNES Starfox, it's never coming unfortunately!

@JacketsNest101 Yeah you're right, I just tried it with Resi 4 Wii Edition and it doesn't work with just the Gamepad either

@Cyberbotv2 the physical copy is identical to the digital one and both work with the classic controller so both work with the gamepad

@Yorumi And you can't get the discount unless they are on the same Wii U, oh dear!

XC and XCX won't both fit on the same Wii U without some form of memory expansion, great forward thinking Nintendo. Wii U should have come with 150gb memory minimum!

Thanks Nintendolife, you lied to me about getting a game for free. I thought it was a reward for my loyalty from Nintendo. You should have said free to start as someone has already stated!

@Steel76 Unfortunately mate I don't think we will ever see it get a release along with Stunt Race FX and the SNES version of Yoshi's Island due to the FX chip debacle. It's a shame we can't play the original Starfox and it will probably be like that forever!

All these games would be put on the eshop if Nintendo had their way, £35 or £150 if someone bought all of them at an average of £5 each is a no brainer for greedy Nintendo! I salute you Microsoft and may get an xbox one for this.

@TheGreatLord Each stage costs £1.79 or £2.69 for Wii u and 3ds.

Everyone who says the dlc is pricey but gets it anyway is telling Nintendo that's a fair price thanks a lot Ninty!

MH4 should be £15 maximum if you can pick up the physical copy for £20, also terrible week for Wii U eshop!
