Gone for the sleepy Kirby and you get the cup included as well. Game looks bananas - definitely taking a gamble preordering but it’s Sakurai so I guess it’s not much of a risk.

At the point where I am currently, I found the first game harder. That might be due to the practice I had from playing the first one, but I am leaning more towards the first game’s lack of direction being frustrating. Combat is maybe faster and more complex in this one but I found myself stuck way more often in hollow knight.

I was playing around with the tool for a little bit at the end of my first session with the game. Does anyone know if you can hide the UI so you can take better screenshots? Maybe I was tired but I couldn’t figure out how.

@RupeeClock and don’t forget Kirby Air Riders this year too. Three Kirby games in the first year of switch 2 is not happening surely! It’s not even the end of the console lifespan like most Kirby games tend to be.

Could gyro be used as a way to emulate an analogue trigger?

@Coversnail the impressive rumble in the PS5s dual sense controllers is actually created using an adapted speaker system as opposed to a traditional rumble motor. Rumble of a high enough frequency creates sound waves. I would imagine the switch 2 uses something similar.

I’m giving mine to my friend’s kids as a mario kart machine as they always want to play it when they come round and my daughter is too young!

Continuing to play Xenoblade Chronicles DE - a game I have attempted to get into a number of times. The success and rapturous reception of these games kept me curious.
I think I’m about half way through and finally understand the genius of this. It’s amazing. Totally locked in and doing loads of side stuff. Trying really hard to finish it before the Switch 2!

During the announcement, It really surprised me that Nintendo’s own camera doesn’t have this capability. If the whole point of the switch is to switch between handheld and tv play, then why doesn’t a headline switch 2 feature accommodate this.

I mean I don’t personally care as I don’t see the appeal in this myself as an older gamer - it’s perhaps more of a kids feature - but it struck me as inelegant in a way that everything else about this new console totally isn’t.

I think the app is the brilliant solution for this - it allows the people who want these bonuses to use them, but those who prefer the game as it is to do so. If this was an in-game option there would always be the temptation to use it.

Do we know if the switch 2 will work with any USB-C webcam? I am sure I heard that mentioned somewhere. May save a bit of cash if so as I have one of those already.

Thank you for this! Just ordered the MKWorld bundle. I was quite peeved for a second because I let my NSO membership lapse for a few weeks while I was on holiday. I don’t think I will receive an invite from Nintendo.

Big fan of both Viewtiful Joe games - I think they were actually pretty ahead of their time and would do much better today if released on the Switch - like most franchises to be honest!

Never quite gelled with Okami. It looks beautiful but felt like very dragged-out and overlong Zelda
