@Ulysses I'll give you that, but the combat and overall story in Black Flag is more fun in my opinion. I wish I didn't play Unity at launch and waited for the patches because I would have had a more fun time in France that I did. I hope Syndicate is the next to come
@derdennis Get the digital deluxe version and you don't have to really worry about the toys because you get enough characters, weapons and ships to have a good time
Sorry but Black Flag is far superior to AC2. Also anyone who hasn't gotten both South Park games the 50+ times they have been on sale, needs to do that. They are both fun RPGS that are crazy funny
@GigaNibba Battlefield 4 was on the Xbox 360 which was insanely weaker than the Switch. On top of that with the right porting studio anything is possible, we have Doom (Doom Eternal soon), Wolfenstein, and the Witcher 3
@outsider83 I don't hate EA, I just think they make a serious of really stupid decisions. Now Bethesda on the other hand, Fallout 4, and 76 are inexcusable messes
@mesome713 Not all businesses feel that way, many only give you a half hour. I like not having a lunch break, it means less time at work and near my coworkers lol
@Ventilator I agree if I had to guess the top three games I think will be ported eventually to the Switch: Unravel 1 A Way Out Plants Vs Zombies 2 (or Battle for the Neighborhood)
@maruse I could see something like Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order coming to the Switch if anything, because the sales of it surprised EA, they wouldn't need to worry about putting up additional servers (unlike if they ported Battlefront 2) and worry about crossplay (again with something like Battlefront 2)
@Sentinator I still think even if we get remasters of past titles from them they may add loot boxes in some way. So Mass Effect 1 remastered, $39.99, Mass Effect 2 remastered $39.99, and Mass Effect 3 remastered $39.99. Or buy the Trilogy for $99.99 and get pre-order day 1 access to a new Andromeda skin. Then there will be microtransactions for new skins
@Supadav03 I'm not denying that it's more popular on other systems since they are charging full price for a legacy edition on the Switch but VGChartz is not a reliable source
@Andrew5678
To be honest, it's expensive to ever port anything. Especially anything recent from EA since they forced all their studios to use the Frostbite engine which is a ***** to port to anything else.
@muscpt
It has been very confusing as to why EA may finally be realizing this, we are talking about the system that has outsold its competition in different regions despite them having a couple year head start. And even now, 3 years in, the System is still sold out in a lot of places and selling like hotcakes. EA has been known for chasing money even if it hurts their studios, I half expected a ***** low fps version of Battlefield V already lol
@Supadav03 Where did you pull your FIFA percentages from? Because trying to fact check them on Google is pulling up nothing. The only thing I can see is that FIFA 20 has been added to the Greatest Hits collection in Japan which means it now sells for a lower price. They usually don't do that for something that didn't sell well.
I think the Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare series would not only get the just rewards it deserves but it would be a big hit on the Switch, especially with the Splatoon crowd.
As far as anything else? It's rumored that Unravel 1 is coming out soon, however if we get Madden I doubt heavily it would be the most recent version, it would probably be a legacy edition but they would still charge $60+ for it.
I personally would love Battlefield 4, or a scaled down Battlefield 1, the Mass Effect Trilogy (They can cram Andromeda back up their butt). Another game I would love to see, Skate, any of them.
Couple of other titles I don't necessarily want, but would do amazing on the Switch: The Sims 4 Apex Legends A Way Out Dante's Inferno Mirror's Edge Fight Night Alice: Madness Returns TitanFall 1 and 2 Any Need for Speed Game
@iNintendo Oh wow you just have also not realized it had a 2 at the end of it's title so people may have played the first title in this shovelware series
@Future777 Are you the kid programming this shovelware in their basement? How much did you parents pay Nintendo Life to advertise your Switch mobile game?
@jcvandan Programmer of what? There is a wide range of what you could program. And I doubt whatever you answer gives you intimate knowledge of Nintendo's game engines
@gillnavisingh The problem could be solved by Nintendo realizing Animal Crossing is not a Competitive game and for Online Backups and if they are worried about time manipulation just program something into the game to detect them. Problem solved
I doubt that esports has truly moved near the same amount of copies of game as a regular commercial has. The average consumer could care less what Smash Bros Ultimate looks like on a flat map, with no items on and characters restricted from use. They want to know what the full game looks like as it was intended to be played. Full items, full map rotation, all the characters.
@Yosher Or one copy of either Sword or Shield, the expansion pass and a friend with the opposite title to what you have. You know, like how it's suppose to be played.
@JohnnyC Agreed, in most professional sports you have to live, and breath the sport from k-12, be exceptional enough to earn a scholarship to play in college ball, then hope you are exceptional enough there to be drafted by a major team. E-Sports is the equivalence of hoping to get paid millions for beating a bunch of other children in a game you like to play without any of the actual hard work and sacrifice.
@Blizzia Sorry to say even if one million people watched a handful of "experts" lay Smash in a tournament that is only 1/40th of Nintendo's overall audience and that's not a big enough reason for them to give money to unsanctioned tournaments.
@benj2687 Mario 3D World makes more sense to bring over than New Super Mario Bros U. However it was an incredibly safe game, so unless they added online multiplayer I don't really care one way or the other if it ever shows us
