@Scooby-Doo The dual screens and street pass are the two things that I would love to be added. I really hope they find a way to WiiUify the switch so it can work with both projecting to the TV while in handheld mode.

@stereobread Curse is my favorite of the series but I think they are just mentioning that since this one is sorta a "soft reboot" that takes place after MI 2.

That being said, hot dang would I be pumped if they released a complete collection of all 4 on the switch.

@PineappleLake Came here to say the same. I love every game of this series so much (other than tell-tale ones). Curse of Monkey Island is a top 10 game for me mostly because of the addition of the phenomenal voice acting, but this art style honestly has me worried.

This is so exciting, now I just need to hope they don't forget about Network Transmission (not a great game I know but I still had fun with it). Actually this has me thinking there are still a few megaman games that are left out of collections:

Heyyyy @Franklin (can't help but address you like that, greatest show) I would be so pumped if konami racers were available. I wanted to give that game a try it seems so kookie. I saw on Wii U eshop I just couldn't pull the trigger, don't want to spend the money on something that I might just play once and not touch again.

@AnnoyingFrenzy Was trying to figure out the same, though two was my favorite it feels weird to just start there. Hopefully 1 is inbound as well (assuming this is all true to begin with)

@chapu2006 That was my issue to, it didn't really make sense to me to have Link just standing there with is lvl 1 sword ready to fight when the master sword is right behind him.

I think my day one switch may be on its last leg, started to do w weird clicking and humming when the fan turns on. Here's hoping that I can hold out till the BoTW switch if there is one because I would love that.

@CharlieGirl I also loved that comic and I don't know if you have seen but someone compiled all those comics in to one graphic novel. A buddy of mine shipped to me and it is honestly one of my favorite pieces of Zelda memorabilia.

Also fun that this article got posted as I am in the middle of my umpteenth playthrough of the game. And despite playing it however many times I only just this past week realized that the "jump" mechanic is very similar from this zelda to later ones before BoTW.

This looks so pretty, and I did enjoy it as a kid (but it was beyond me and couldn't make it very far). I have owned it on my vita for years and still haven't played. Maybe I should give this version a go.

I was really hoping it was going to be this year. Spring is a busy time for me at work and December is usually slower and I take a lot of leave. Was really looking forward to having nothing on my plate and to just sit down and play BOTW2. As it is I guess it will give me something to play while in hotel rooms in 2023

@maulinks If you enjoy Ben and his comedic style I would recommend Middleditch and Schwartz on Netflix. Its long form improve and its very good.

@RubyCarbuncle If you were like me and it was your first soulsborne, then that is just expected. I remember when I first played I thought the first boss was impossible and I must be missing something. Turns out I was and that was just an understanding of the rhythm of the game. o

Man, I love the look of this person's PS1 style bloodborne stuff. I think it is an era of graphics when done right looked great, i.e. Brave fencer musashi, Bushido Blade, ff games, tobal # 1, crash games (I realized after writng that out that those are all Square games hmmm), but when its bad boy does it look atrocious.

I love the super scope, Battleclash, Metal Combat & Super Scope 6 are so much fun, I am still hunting down Yoshi's Safari. Also I love a nice and helpful GameStop employee. The former manager at the store closest to me was so kind and helpful at all times, new my name and actually learned my interests and would have great recommendation, but wouldn't get pushy about it.

My favorite story about that store, when club nintendo was closing I was looking to pick up some used games with the hopes of getting some codes so I could get one last poster set. This manager just handed me a stack of some 50 codes (in varying states). That was one of my favorite experiences at any game store. Sadly since she left the store has gone down hill.

Super random but a little related. Are the Klonoa GBA games worth it buying on the Wii U. Never played a Klonoa game before and have heard good things but I just don't know if those hold up to someone trying them for the first time in 2022

Played a ton of Duck hunt and shooting range on the NES. T2 and Mad Dog McCree on Genesis and Sega CD. And of course the Arcade greats of Area 51, house of the dead, Time crisis. Still my favorite is Battle Clash for the SNES. Something cool about it feeling like a one on one battle.

@GrailUK Had that exact same thought. I saw Link's Awakening at 44 and thought (oof thats a little low for a LoZ game) and yet as I kept going I was just shocked at home many bonkers amazing games there are.

@MH4 I noticed that. Went to buy the animal crossing backgrounds cause they look cool and it said buy an icon first. Why can't I put Mario in an animal crossing background Nintendo?

Gives me vibes of a modern version of tony hawk GBA games (which were sooo good)

@JustMonika That is the main reason I went with Funimation. I like subs but sadly with my limited free time I need the dub version of shows since I primarily watch them while doing something else (cooking, cleaning etc.).

@Banjo- If Gamepass comes to it, then that is a must buy for me. Also despite having a tower PC it is not great and this would be a huge upgrade.

@PanFriedSoup I have not yet, though there is a spot that I got to where there was just an open sea and I couldn't go forward so I just crouched for a few seconds to see if anything would happen.

@TME Playing Infernax right now and am loving it. It plays like Castlevania 2 but without being so obtuse.

@jobvd Yes it is, thankfully a lot of the puzzles aren't as obtuse as other lucas arts adventures (not that I mind that I played and loved them all), but you can still get stuck on some.

The added feature that makes it lot more playable without a guide is the highlights. You can press a button and everything on the screen that you can interact with becomes highlighted. Makes it a lot easier to navigate.

I felt like I had to get the expansion after receiving a switch N64 controller for Christmas from my sister. I was a little meh, even though I do love playing those classic N64 games with the original controller. The problem is I won't play most of those genessis games since I already bought them. This was a pleasant surprise and made me feel a little better about my upgrade to the explansion.

Before an RE4 remake I would love an original, 0, or Code Veronica remake. Don't get me wrong RE HD is great and I love playing that tank control style (really hightens the fear factor), but I would also love a chance to explore the mansion built from scratch in the RE Engine.

Question, did this game get mentioned in a Nintendo Life video in the past on something that needs to be imported. I somehow knew this game and the entire premise behind it but can't remember where I saw someone talk about it.

@Samuel-Flutter Agreed. What really grabbed me was the Nintendo stuff looks incredible (more mario kart, Switch Sports, Kirby looks incredible) but the third party stuff they have is awesome as well. Klonoa and Chrono Chross. Wow what a direct.

@Yorumi Haven't read the whole chat but I did see you bring up false dilemma (I was taught it as false dichotomy but six of one, half a dozen of the other). It drives me nuts when so many arguments use logical fallacies, be it equivocation, strawman, you name it. But one of the most egregious (other than the typical ad hominem that's everywhere) has to be the false dilemma.

People tend to overly simplify deeply complex and multifaceted issues into your either on side A or side B.

@AugustusOxy I apologize for upsetting you but I agree with your wrong is wrong statement 100%. That was the whole point of my thought experiment. The thief stole $1000 in both cases and therefore is still the same crime (the last line of the comment).

@CharlieGirl I don't wish to be rude or argumentative, but I just want to point out that even if nintendo made 20 billion, if with out this guy they would have made 20.001 billion, that is still substantial money and a loss.
If someone burgled Elon Musk and took $1000 (I believe he lives stateside but not certain), he was still burgled even if it is a negligible amount to him. Where if someone stole $1000 from someone else that would be more noticeable, still the same crime.

Regardless of feelings for or against the most recent buying frenzy from these companies, I really hope Konami gets purchased soon.

They have so many great IPs that just sit there doing nothing, and so catalogue that could be released and so many would buy.

Thanks to my dyslexia I originally read "Tingle Strategy" I had to click to see what sorta Tingle themed strategy game looked like. This looks cool to but now I really want a strategy game staring Tingle.

Great list, love heart gold and soul silver at the top. I went into that game with 0 knowledge of the originals (at that point I had played, red blue & yellow, then skipped to pearl). So got to experience the game with the great visuals and that moment we you make it back to Kanto I freaked out. It was 2012 and I was in college but it still blew my mind.
