A good story will keep me interested, plus new features. Never play Pokémon competitively or online anymore.

@NickOfTime90 The amount of downloads Pokémon Go has received is phenomenal, therefore new updates for such a popular game and news stories are noticed more. And, I guess it has many appealing parts to it, making it pretty addictive.

Although many will have stopped playing by September, I doubt those people would have bought the Pokémon Go Plus, anyway. So, it should be alright as long as there are no more delays.

All depends on whether Niantic are clever with the game. That will decide whether me and everyone else hooked right now will still be playing by the end of this and early next year.

@GN004Nadleeh Don't miss out on the 3DS and all of its fantastic games. It's a phenomenal system and has to be played by every gamer. I've spent way more time since the Wii U's launch on my 3DS than U.

@Uberchu Well, loads of people live in Antarctica (as indicated here: http://www.antarctica.gov.au/about-antarctica/people-in-antarctica/how-many ), and most if not all of us speak Antarctican. We've had an astonishing increase in the amount of people speaking the language lately, so we're on our way to exceeding how many speak Chinese. Getting closer by the second.

Whelp, as I'm sure everyone has experienced, I dropped my Nintendo DS Lite down the toilet. It's not fun when you're about to beat the Gym Leader for the first time on Pokemon SoulSilver...

@Monkey_Balls The Wii U game has exactly the same price as the 360 and PS3 version. Hopefully the Nintendo NX will be categorised as a "next gen" console unlike the Wii U.

@RainbowGazelle @Nico07 My bro is addicted to all the LEGO games (he's using Wii U) and they seem to freeze loads. He was playing LEGO Dimensions a couple of days ago and it was freezing like mad; every 30 minutes or so. There also seems to be a problem with the NFC figures too, since my brother and his friends have all had to get replacements by LEGO. When I played Undercover on release (was so hyped), I played the game non-stop till the mine level and that's when the game froze. Kinda sucks and is frustrating considering it stops you from wanting to play the game, especially if it was a hard level. Hopefully they can find a solution and make this game better because of it.

NX Sports, NX Fit and NX Music would make an unbelievably brilliant line-up, smashing Xbox and PlayStation out o' the gaming world.

I guess I'll be buying all the major games, and. Poncho has been on my radar since February. Plus, I have played it at GEEK. The mechanics are pretty awesome. This may be a decent year for Wii U; just a shame we get some crappy board-games.

This is exactly what happened to me, but with Mario Kart 8. Received a downloadable code for the game, and then got the physical limited edition copy in the mail the next week.

That Resetti amiibo looks evil, but at the same time pretty cool. I'm gonna splash all my cash on the new Animal Crossing amiibo, since they look spectacular.

Nintendo are still accepting all physical reward orders from Club Nintendo. Just bought the Mario Kart 8 CD for 3000 stars. It sucks that the goodbye CD sold out.

Instead of making all these new forms of Pokemon, I wish we could have a new game in the series like HG and SS, where we could explore 2 regions. Or maybe being able to travel to different planets and/or solar systems...

@DarkKirby I only just realised that. I prefer to watch a lot of videos on at least 720p, because it looks beautiful then. For me 360p or below is somewhat blurry or not great to look at.

@DontPlayDumb Oh, man. When I realised only 12 games were compatible with StreetPass on 3DS I literally died. I love the feature, and it's such a shame that the limit is so low, especially for game collectors and completionists.

Before this announcement popped up, I'd never seen any use for me with having the MegaMan Amiibo, since I barely use the character in Smash. But now that it's compatible in the Legacy Collection, I'll be using him a lot more, which will (hopefully) be awesome!

Who fell for Official Nintendo Magazine's trick into giving the original Sonic Boom 99% making y'all buy it? I wish ONM was still alive; such a great mag and I enjoyed picking it up from my local newsagent just around the corner from my house.

On-topic, I highly doubt I'll try this out, since SEGA has been disappointing me a lot lately with their Sonic games. They seem to be getting worse and worse. Maybe if it gets positive and non-sarcastic reviews, I'll pop in and have a look.

Looks absolutely awesome, and £3 for the stage on both consoles is a pretty good deal. I'm probably going to save my cash, considering there will probably be a big bundle for £30 containing all the Smash DLC.

And I still haven't bought the game, yet! Let's hope these numbers carry on rising! Great job, Nintendo!

Now that looks splawesome, and must be very enjoyable! The music is absolutely fantastic, and most of the tracks have been stuck in my head since day one! I might even try to learn some of the tracks from Splatoon on my guitar and then play along with the music!

– According to the Nikkei, Kimishima predicted Wii U’s failure when it was introduced by warning it was too similar to the original Wii
– Despite his business background, he is quoted as saying it’s wrong to lead a gaming company on numbers alone
– The Nikkei claims Kimishima wasn’t Iwata’s favorite choice
– Nintendo was first looking for somebody younger but didn’t have the personnel
– The article also suggests the troika was a rushed decision because the holiday season, where Nintendo makes 50%+ of sales, is near
– Accordingly, Kimishima is quoted as saying one task for him will be to develop the next group leadership structure for Nintendo"

I really had to spend all my spare money the week before Mario Maker came out...

I'm really liking this guy already, mostly due to his credentials. Although he does look a bit moody, I'm sure everything will be alright and Nintendo will fall back into place since Iwata's death, and carry on in success!

If the Simpsons are included in the game, Lego Dimensions is going straight in my basket!

I just want Ninty to get back to their good ol' ways, and blow our heads off with shock, in an amazing way. Everyone loves their Marios, Bayonettas, Splatoon, and whatnot, but I just want Ninty to give us more and better things. This will shake the market, and give Ninty a chance to rocket up to the top, again.

Fantastic update! Now all I want is for Miiverse to show how many hours you have played on each game. That would be awesome!
