Re: Talking Point: Every Pre-BOTW 3D Zelda Now Has A Remake, But Which Is Best?

BEST: Ocarina/Majora: Excellent graphical overhaul, Streamlined a lot of functions.

Skyward Sword: removed motion controls, which was the main problem with the original. Quicker beginning due to skippable cutscenes.

Windwaker: The gamecube original's graphics aged so well that they didn't really need much of a change, the quick sail saves time, but I wish they added more islands to the great sea. I think they overdid it with the bloom lighting on everything.

Twilight Princess: Minor improvement, just didn't care much for the original game.

Re: Talking Point: Why Metroid Dread Will Be Worth $60

Yoshisaur

NES games used to cost $60 back in the 80's. If game prices kept up with inflation, they would be $140 now. The cost of game development and the size of the teams making games has gone up astronomically, so we're lucky the prices haven't risen proportionately

Re: Feature: Every Dragon Quest Game Ranked

I would have put IV a little higher. The ability to play as multiple characters was fun (especially Torneko the Merchant). I feel like 4 had an impressive leap in quality over 3 considering they debuted on the same console.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Game Boy Color Game?

Yoshisaur

Going through this list, it's shocking how little support Nintendo gave the Gameboy Color in terms of main series titles.
No new main series Mario games (just sports and a re-make of the original. 1 Kirby game that's a spinoff, no Metroid, and the Zelda games were made by Capcom. They treated the system like a stepping stone to the GBA and that's why it only lasted 3 years as opposed the the original gameboy's 10.
