Come on all you Hippy flag waving 'i prefer buying overpriced priced retail games on Wii U because its to difficult for me to get hold of a retail copy' thus supporting the overpriced model numbnuts show some love for angry birds star wars.
Well could be my busiest week ever on the Wii U eShop, Chasing Aurora, SteamWorld Dig, Teslagrad & Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition works out at £15.56 Teslagrad on its own is normally £13.99 so at those prices looks to good to miss.
New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U are and have both been under £15 each from multiple retailers and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is between £28-£30 from several retailers, The Shovel Knights are tempting though.
@Ootfan98 first off love you avatar 'Head Over Heels' what i would do to be able to play that on my 3DS or Wii U anyway that game was probably my favorite game back in that generation closely followed buy their Batman game, and yes its gone well past the stage of being acceptable now with their lack of new consoles that need to be added to the VC.
I bought this for Vita originally and its a great game then several months later the Devs released it for PS3 and automatically included it as a 'Crossbuy' title so i ended up with both versions, would be nice for the dev to follow suit when releasing on Nintendo machines.
I'd like to say THANKS devs for accurately pricing this title for WiiU i mean $10.99 = £6.99 looks about right to me unlike almost all other devs who's price would be £8-9.99 which makes no sense.
Really 21% of people who voted are wiling to pay £49.99 for a digital copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, a fool and his money/irrational/illogical mind are easily parted.
I dont remember this game looking like this on a 50" 1080p Panasonic Plasma with a GBA player for the Gamecube so i think that this might be an emulation issue.
C- sounds about right to me, so many problems that its not even funny its world wide sales are so bad that i really dont think they are going to be able to turn this console around now 2 years in like they done with the 3DS.
Yup this game is amazing (reason i ended up building a gaming PC) was games like this i ended up picking it up in a Humble Bundle along with several other decent games for around £4.
I love Majoras Mask a bit more the OOT but have to admit 3.5 years by the time its released for a Remake is pretty ridiculous that time and money would of been better spent on a NEW title, but still 3.5 years no one can convince me it should take that long.
What am i missing you pay £10 for a crap little figure that allows you an in game character that can level level up surely this is just fancy but VERY EXPENSIVE DLC ?
Would of sold like Hot Cakes, would love to see a HD version on Wii U, Factor 5 going right back to the SNES/MD days were always at the very top for DEVS regarding technical achievement from the hardware.
Was just saying to my mate the other day that i reckon Perfect Dark is the best FPS still to this day, then Goldeneye followed closely by the Metroid trilogy. From what i remember RARE updated the Goldeneye engine to run from 20 to 30 fps as well as putting the game on a 256mbit cart, the sound/music in this game is Epic.
What about this backlight battery saving feature in the video i hope you can turn this rubbish off because in the video the screen looks really murky and dim does not look good.
Almost everyone i know who has ever played a Dynasty Warriors game would say that they are not very good so Sticking a dose of Zelda throughout the game aint gonna change that, im surprised it actually got a 7. This is a pure FANBOY purchase because the game was never going to be that good.
@Bass_X0 Exactly short story from a fellow gamer previously owning a Japanese Megadrive i bought imported and then playing the UK 50hz games i was well aware of the difference 60hz games were Full screen, crisper graphics 17.5 % faster etc i as well as almost everyone that played on my Megadrive blatantly understood the huge difference between the 2 speeds so in December 1990 i sold my Megadrive collection was 17yrs old at college at bought an imported Super Famicom i was literally one of a handful of people at the time that had this unit in the UK, when Mario Kart came out the UK the 150cc speed was the 60hz version 100cc speed, some people dont get it its not just the games animation is faster the music is faster control response is faster but the game was never intended to be played or run in 50hz so it is in almost every way a worse version of the game. Put it this way think of any modern game you play now and know well then if you were to run it 17.5% slower your gonna know just how bad that game now plays its Huge.
@whodatninja Yeah when i got my Wii U MK8 bundle the first 2 games i wanted to download was Super Metroid & The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past couldn't believe in 2014 Nintendo release 50hz junk even stranger is many of the WiiU Vc games are the 60hz versions and someone at Nintendo thought i would be a good idea to release 2 of the top Snes games in 50hz complete madness i say, also the main reason i was unable to purchase most of the Wii's VC library because all but a select few were all in 50hz..
Well thats not to helpful as the 3DS-XL screen sizes are all wrong so i cant even trust the newer models figure which is the one Spec i wanted to know.
I hope somewhere does a deal like GAME done and offer you a good price to trade in your 3DS-XL against the new mode like they did with the 3DS-3DSXL where you could keep your older model and bring it in once you've transferred your content across.
For me i my first ever experience was with a DS flash cart and what took me down that avenue was that i had literally 60+ highly rated DS games and it got really inconvenient carrying around my DS and multiple games i sat there one day and thought there has to be a better option, at this time i had NO idea of the concept of Flash Carts until after many hours research i discovered that they were available from Hong Kong i went ahead and ordered and thought it was amazing, secondly i the reason i SoftModded my Wii was because i owned again literally 80+ games most bought from new etc and got fed up with the utter inconvenience of it all and found out if i softmodded my Wii i could put my Wii game discs into my Wii and copy them over to a harddrive in order to play them this i can tell you made a HUGE difference in my enjoyment of my Wii (obviously the bonus of other territory games that never saw a Europe release i could play aswell)
Yes is it very true their sales are mostly always on the Light side i have to say, shame as i would spend more money with them than anyone else if they do the same sort of discounts other company's offer.
Out of interest i dont get why Nintendo haven't given the same Sega team who done F-Zero GX the green light to do another, very strange. As for Retro studio i would dearly love to see the Prime Trilogy HD'd up into 1080p 60fps goodness with Wiimote Plus controls.
Metroid Prime Trilogy HD 1080p 60 fps with Wii Motion plus controller support aswell as game pad support for those that like twin analogues etc well that and the Galaxys i'd buy in an instant.

I shall grab both versions when they appear on a sale hopefully in the near future, if only all good games were rewarded with decent sales.

On anything out there i dont consider 'buy one get one 33% cheaper' a discount 'buy one get one free' 'buy one get one half price' i do.
Re: SEGA Confirms Second Batch of 3D Classics for the West
Going to have to grab all of them when Sega do some sort of a sale.
Re: Nintendo 64x64: Banjo-Tooie
This definatelty stands as one of the 10/10 games the N64 had, so much bigger than the first game in everyway.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th October (Europe)
DKC 1 & 3 are US 60hz and DKC 2 widely regarded as the best in the series is the slow Pal 50hz version, well done Nintendo, continuity is key.

If i cant own all three of them in 60hz im not even gonna bother, because they play like rubbish in 50hz. 2014 and this nonsense is still going on.

Are these Donkey Kong Country's the 50 or 60hz versions ?

Re: Nintendo 64x64: Perfect Dark
@CaptainToad AGREED this game is easily one of the few 10/10 games on the N64 as most mags gave it back in the day.

Metroid Prime Trilogy HD 1080p 60 fps with Wii Motion plus controller support aswell as game pad support for those that like twin analogues etc well that and the Galaxys i'd buy in an instant.
