YEAH ive commented on these NA peoples comments before, we get seriously shafted with the ridiculous imaginary exchange rate prices Nintendo use.

@starlac GUTTED mate when i got my Wii U MK8 bundle first thing i wanted to download was Super Metroid & The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and quickly found out they were the 50hz versions, plain ridiculous when you consider all other titles ive downloaded have all been 60hz versions.

@Starwolf_UK Well according to this sites link for each game at the top of this page it clearly states PAL or USA version which means Nintendolife has got it wrong and make me wonder how many other games they've listed as the wrong territory, but you are correct having just checked on my Wii U each game is listed as the USA version.

Well thats Bloody annoying ive just found out Megaman1-4 are the USA 60hz versions and 5 & 6 are the PAL 50hz versions, look like ill be getting the first four then.

Child of Light looks like a good deal as i dont think ive seen a review less than 9/10 for it plus it hasn't been out that long, for me though i'll wait for it to be discounted on PSN as its cross buy and i'd like the free PS4 copy for when i eventually pick one up, but if i didn't have a PS3 i'd be all over Child of Light on Thursday that for sure.

@Swithom i so desperately wanted to play Super Metroid on my Wii U until i found out it was the 50hz version i couldn't do it its just not the same gaming experience on 50hz to me it seems like the controls, animation and music are going through Mud.

50hz JUNK completely RUINS gameplay and is unacceptable in 2014 (actually forget that it was unacceptable way back in the 90's) and when i read comments in other threads about people from europe waiting to purchase it or similar PAL crap all i say is gamers dont know their beans.

Great ive been waiting for Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails to be discounted since i got my MK8 Wii U and this Abyss game looks Ok especially for 44p.

Oh dear 2014 and they're still releasing 50hz JUNK, REALLY the sound is at the correct speed though.

@Ralek85 Yeah i picked up most of them games on that 99c Flash Sale as i have a PS3 & Vita but believe me brother they only do this ridiculous pricing/sales compared to most others because they can get away with it as their is No Fanboy quite like a Nintendo Fanboy.

@ikki5 Dont be silly you N/A get virtually every game on a permanent discount compared to us in Europe by about 30%.

2 things REALLY you still insist on releasing that VC 50hz JUNK on the eShop for Pop'n Twinbee and Nintendo is that really the best you can do NES Remix and NES Remix 2 with a slight discount but you already have to of owned one to get it, Surely it would of been better to just discount both of them at the very least. Cross buy is brilliant and all that but when you consider that this game is $2.99/£1.99 on the AppStore for a more complete content rich version (due to multiple updates) then you have to acknowledge that Nintendos digital stores are mostly always more expensive than their competitors.

I think Urban Trial Freestyle looks good alot of fun especially at that price.

Just found out that this is a 'CROSS-BUY' game on PS3/Vita meaning i pay once and get both versions 'which i'l do' once again showing that Nintendo's eco system sucks seeing as the dev is the same and yet you have to pay TWICE if you want it on 3DS aswell.

LOOK if Nintendo release N64 games in UK/europe and its the same 50hz rubbish slowed down gameplay they did on the Wii then they need shooting, The N64 sucked big time in 50hz i can tell ya.

Im surprised that Two Tribes haven't put the original Toki Tori on sale aswell as Toki Tori 2+ would of been nice to get them both.

Got this for my Pc for around £3 along with many other decent titles and also its become available for my Note 3 included in the price in the latest Humble Bundle.

looks like i'll finally get to pick up Fallblox and Pullblox World which will be my first purchase on my soon to arrive Wii U MK8 bundle then.

Will welcome both to the Wii U when they arrive hopefully grab them on a discount at some point.

£49.99 for a download copy of MK8 PAH plain ridiculous when you can get it anywhere for £37 from various places, just to high light the a"~* raping we take in the UK for pricing from Nintendo the $59.99 for the US converts to (IN THE REAL WORLD) £35.61, MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm, i for one mostly dont support this business model as its extra bad in the UK.

@LtAldoRaine i Hear ya brother i managed to get one actually cheapish on pre-order before the price hike, the OUTSTANDING level design/level geometry coupled with the impressive tech that built the game and i was also transported to another world what with all that highly original unusual music everywhere, cant say to date ive played anything better than the first game.

I was wondering how is this going to work i literally just picked Mario Golf up yesterday on a deal as i wanted to get this Triple DLC pack before the deal ends as i reckon it adds alot of decent content and represents good value.

@KnightRider666 O so a game which plays just aswell but looks better (as its a higher resolution etc) on smartphones and is significantly cheaper £5 or under for all 3 is worth £20 for it being on a card, good luck with that logic.

This game should be a DOWNLOAD only and not a 3DS card game its totally unnecessary seeing as they are even that big in size on other formats, its just been done that way to milk the extra $.

Thats shocking as i know of several people who still play Mario Kart online and Love it.

This game is total quality i love it on my ipad & Note 3 and normally gets 5/5 gold ward reviews etc, another decent title for the eShop then, will pick this up when on sale i think.

For once i cant complain abut the ridiculous eShop pricing as this game it total quality aswell has alot of life in it, thats a real bargain at that price i reckon its true value is at least double that.

FACT is companies prefer digital because they make much more profit so they'll always defend their pricing,eg Kindle & ebooks have been hotly contested as to why the pricing for a physical book and ebook are largely the same AMAZON have made many statements explaining why the costs are the same (pure BS by the way) then when numerous independent organisations have conducted breakdown costs etc its been clear to see its way cheaper to deliver the digital to you thus for them yielding more profit.
FACT is if you support the over priced digital model 'your making the expensive bed you & others are going to have to lay in'

@unrandomsam sorry but Rationally & Logically speaking it just doesn't offset the Great value difference just for convenience (which i agree is better but not at the inflated cost) let alone the games are tied to hardware etc

To me this article means that there are alot of foolish NON retail savvy people after all 'a fool and his money are easily parted' as Nintendos download prices for eShop,Vc,Retail titles are way over priced, discounts, Promotions etc im in but otherwise im out let alone the fact of the Ridiculous pricing comparison between NA & europe.

@ledreppe Steam at the moment are doing Trine 1 & 2 + the DLC all for £1.79 so clearly the devs know they can get away with higher pricing as its on a Nintendo console, hence why i really limit my digital purchases.

OBVIOUSLY still needs to be physical media

and for RIGHT NOW 1 account system for all devices, as their current method is nothing short of daylight robbery.

Moga Power Pro controller & my Note 3 i can bet Nintendo s new handheld isn't even going to match that spec with its new handheld and the amount of quality games around now is impressive.

This is essentially 2 for 1 on WiiU premium games, think im gonna have to jump on the WiiU boat now and get one perhaps the Mario Kart bundle.

This guys really talented in this VID but it just goes to show how CRAP the level design is in most games nowadays. How simplified hand holding nonsense is everywhere in video games.

An arcade version enhanced aswell of Outrun im definately up for this, i keep waiting for the rest of the 3D classics series to appear on discount so i can grab them all.

@Kirk Talking about F-Zero Damm did Sega do an amazing job modifying the SMB2 engine for F-Zero on the Gamecube that game was amazing, i'd love Sega to do another F-Zero thats for sure.

For me this and the GBA version are the Mario Karts ive had the most fun with, i always equated the difference back in the day between the PAL 50hz and NTSC 60hz being that the PAL 50hz on 150cc run at the same speed (or feeling anyway) as the NTSC 60hz 100cc.

In reality art design and level geometry always trumps resolution, metroids a Prime example excuse the pun.
