Re: First Impressions: PilotWings Resort

I LOVE Pilotwings i maxxed out and completed both the N64 and SNES versions when they came out, it was the N64 version that truly taught me and 'heightened my skill therefore' all about an analogue stick, however this 3DS version does kinda sadden me as the Wii is ideally suited to this game, the Gamecube would of done an incredible version as well, but yet it makes its appearance on the small screen.

I reckon that this unit was stolen ( with a fee involved for that person ) for one of the Flash card manufacturers who stand to make alot of money getting to the market first with one of their cards. As they all seem to be based in China these companys Mmmm

Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition (Wii)

Back in the day i only ever imported my SNES because of the slowdown and borders of the UK PAL 50hz machines, and your quite right it is disgusting with the amount of money Nintendo has made of recent years that they cant be bothered to include at the very least Super Mario World which was released on the same cart as Super Mario Allstars anyway. 50hz RUBBISH aswell pure RUBBISH, and this bit is for people who's comments ive read lately all over this site regarding 50hz games, get a gaming palette, open up your senses as the difference between 50-hz & 60hz is Night & Day.

Ive tried many different cables to connect my UK Wii up to my 50" Panasonic Plasma and i can say with ease the best the Wii has ever looked is to go and buy a MONSTER Wii Component Cable it trounces the official component cable out of the water in terms of ( and i mean a big difference ) Sharpness, Clarity, Amount of colours showing on screen, 3D effect, Contrast, Full Bodied Sound, after 2 of my friends on separate occasions saw for themselves the difference they immediately went out and bought the same MONSTER cable i use.

Re: Talking Point: The Virtual Console's PAL Problem

I for 1 have never bought a Pal VC game only Wiiware Games as i always new at a young age growing up the HUGH Difference between a PAL game and a NTSC game either for a eg, SNES,Megadrive or N64 i always bought imported consoles & games as they were 17.5% faster, full screen gaming with sharper graphics, which translated into a significantly different experience if you mastered as i did back in the day many games eg, mario kart on the Snes Pal 150cc was the same speed as a 100cc NTSC version, responsiveness everything changed, games on PAL where there was slowdown were in most cases eradicated on a NTSC version, Plotwings 64 was completely different feeling in your hands on NTSC so much more accurate. Most of my friends wont touch the VC also because of this, SIMPLY put the games were not designed/made to be played in 50hz so converting it can never really work out.

Re: More Metroid Prime in the Pipeline?

I love the metroids, i actually played the SNES version for the first time 2 years ago after playing through and completing the 2 Cube titles, and could immediately see where the Cube titles had come from and that helped me to appreciate them even more, and the Snes title for being total quality.
