Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Needs to Learn Lessons From Its NES Mini Mistakes

Wandman5612

Why does this surprise anyone?
They needed a quick burst of money after the Wii U disaster o they could easily support the Switch's launch. That's the NES Classic's/Famicom Classic's purpose. The Switch released, so it will only be a detriment to sell them now.
After all, they need some way to make the Virtual Console appealing while still having the classics available. The NES Classic would make Nintendo lose money at this rate.

Re: Nintendo's Harshest Critic Thinks Switch Will Outsell Microsoft's Scorpio

Wow, a Nintendo site mentioned Patcher again! Seriously though, I think he could be helping Nintendo in the long run. Not many triple A companies get as many harsh critics as Nintendo does, and I think Nintendo might have been able to use these critic's ideals to create new features in their games.
In a weird, twisted way, I am glad to see that Patcher has been mentioned again.

Re: Round Up: Yooka-Laylee's Scores Are In, And Critics Appear Divided

@manu0 How does one simple mistake make them bad people? It's like saying that Nintendo is a terrible company because they didn't retire the Wii U earlier. It was a problem that they needed to resolve, and any situation would have hurted them in the long-run. I get that the Wii U version was delayed, but at least they are offering a Switch version that will (eventually) be released.
People criticize others over everything these days...

@Joeynator3000 I like Playtonic.
This Jon situation is making everyone freak out, though. I can simply say, "Oh well. Maybe next time.", and move on.
I just hope everyone can put Jafari aside and remember that Yooka-Laylee is supposed to be the next Banjo-Kazooie. I'm crossing my fingers that this won't feel like a spin-off of that series (Nuts and Bolts), but instead a revival.
