@bofis is right. Why would anyone be buying these with a new 3DS on the way?

Xbone has the worst launch in Japanese console history, even selling less than both 3DS models combined. Ouch.

Are people really going to be that fussed if it does come to the Wii U eventually? Surely an adaptation of Yellow or a new game in the vein of Colosseum or even Snap would sell better?

What modes are included currently besides the Campaign and Adventure Mode? I read about a Villain mode somewhere - is that an alternate campaign or even an actual thing?

Whilst I did enjoy AC4 I think most people are burned out on the Assassin's Creed franchise at this point. A lot of people checked out when Desmond died.

They're flogging that dead horse into the ground. Their new AC for the PS4 and Xbone will sell fairly well considering the dearth of games currently available for the system but after that it's going to be a sharply declining trajectory for the series.

The French Revolution was playing it safe too--far too similar to the past two games. If they really wanted to do something interesting they would have taken it to feudal Japan or ancient Egypt, etc.

The lawsuit is rather farcical but good on those two chaps for trying to remind game developers that, despite what they may think, they're not wholly untouchable and are accountable to their consumers - all us gamers.
