I think Nintendo are doing a great job with the Nindies. They know they play a big future in gaming and as such are giving them the same limelight as AAA titles.
The Switch is by far the best console for indies for me. Bought minecraft again the other day and playing it on switch it over pc is a superior experience.
I was pleased with the direct. With a recent direct and E3 coming up Nintendo are absolutely coming through with the Switch.
I have been following the progress of Moonlighter and it really does look great!
My Time in Portia looks really interesting too!
As with many people though I am having to be really stringent with my choice of games I buy due to the huge ammount being released and my limited game time available 😑
I have never played a Kirby game. Never appealed to me, however I feel like I should play one to see if I am missing out. Any recommendations for a Kirby newbie?
That looks like a really awesome collectors edition. I wasn’t sure about this game as I haven’t really played many games in this vein. But after that reveal I am really tempted to get into a turn based RPG like this.
The reveal stated there would be an adventure mode like the original at the end.
There seems to be some disappointment that this follow up isn’t true to the originals, but surely this part of the reveal shows that it is? Plus all the other game modes.
Color me excited. Granted I have never played the originals, but this looks insane.
I can’t think off top of my head of another magic/wizard game in this vein (correct me if I am wrong) so this to me is a day one buy! Sounds great for people who like me grew up with the Harry Potter books!
I was meaning to get back into this game after I stopped playing it on my laptop. However I will most likely buy it on the switch and restart it as I feel this game is perfectly suited to a handheld.
Glad Nintendo is getting some great indie titles onboard!
I agree with everyone that new Metroid would be great. The Switch could do with a FPS on the console. I would also be happy with a HD collection of the PRIME trilogy, which I would imagine is more likely considering the lack of financial success of the past games. A port of Tropical freeze from Retro Studios would be good too, seeing as I never owned a Wii u.
Two other games I would love to have sequels for would be Luigi's Mansion and F-Zero.
Oh and Rocket league would be a no brainier on the system.

Re: Review: Kirby Star Allies (Switch)
@SmaggTheSmug
Thanks for the reply. I’ll do that then.
I have the snes mini which has Kirby’s adventure on. Worth playing?

@YANDMAN
Cheers for the reply mate. Think I’ll be adding those to my collection in that case 🙂
Re: This Is What Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Looks Like In Action
@KingdomHeartsFan
Yes Sir! I will do that 🙂
An HD version would be good though, especially with the portability factor.

Edited it to show follow up. I confused myself 😮
Do the originals hold up well still? I’ve heard the hype but never owned them and slighly regret not buying them when they came out originally.

Re: Take Centre Court And Trick Shot Your Way To Glory In Mario Tennis Aces This June
Looks great. Haven’t played a Mario sport game in years(maybe decades) so I am really looking forward to this.

You cannot deny it:
Nintendo got style.

Amazing news.
Re: Sounds Like Blizzard Really Is Porting Diablo 3 To Switch (Even Though It Said It Wasn't)
Never played it, but always wanted to. Seems as though the wait was worth it. Being portable is a massive boon.

Re: Feature: Brushing Up On Fox N Forests With Developer Bonus Level
Reminds me of some old Amiga platformers I used to play back in the day!
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?
Been playing the Darkest Dungeon. Quite hard and as the name suggests, very dark. Enjoying it so far.
Re: Poll: Surprise! A New Zelda Is In Development, But What Do You Want From It?
I trust nintendo with their next installment as I have never been let down.
I would however love another Zelda in the same vein as Wind Waker. Bigger more populated islands with all the BOTW mechanics would be a dream for me!
Re: Yooka-Laylee's Nintendo Switch eShop Price Is Revealed
£34.99 seems a fair price. They could have charged £50 like all other games, but didn’t. I will wait till physical because that is my preference.

Re: Guide: Everything We Know About the Super NES Classic Edition
Looks great to me, I have my brothers old Snes but only a few games on it, so this will let me enjoy what I missed.
I would have loved to have been able to play Chrono Trigger on it as I have never played it. Although I can just pick it up on the 3DS.
Re: Nintendo Infographic Outlines Switch and 3DS Games for 2017
Compare this with The PS4 and Xbox one initial lineup and Nintendo comes out very favourably.
Splatoon, Mario, Rabbids and Xenoblade are must haves for me. I will buy Rocket league even though I have it for the PS4 as well.
Having two GOTY contenders (assuming Mario is that good) in a new consoles first year is unheard of.
I congratulate Nintendo for a great launch window.
