@roboshort Thank you for that. I've had a rough couple of days and needed the chuckle. You statements are pretty far up Nintendo's butt and a bit hilarious, if unfortunate. There are no molehills... just legitimate complaints. And let me just go on record as saying that the majority of people who experience these issues DON'T turn to the internet to voice their displeasure, so we don't have a good cross section of how bad these problems are... other than the fact that this one in particular is a found and known design issue.
Not everyone is going to experience the issue if they are mostly playing docked and with a pro controller or joy-con holder. Once they start waggling, there will be even more effected. As it now stands, it is A) a known and very real issue effecting more people than you'd care to admit which is B) an actual physical design flaw that will manifest itself for most everyone given time... because it's a design flaw. C) It has a proven fix/hack that shows how the controller can be fixed... because it's a design flaw... not a random issue that may or may not effect people because it's random. It's a design flaw. A bad design choice.
@Paddle1 'The number [of Joy-Con replacement or repair requests received] is not significant, and is consistent with what we've seen for any new hardware we have launched.'
Translation. Nothing to see here. Everything is normal. Defects are normal. Move along.
Really, the whole statement is a disgustingly pre-scripted non-answer worthy of Washington politics. It says nothing, admits nothing and commits to nothing. It gives lip service without any definitive answer and the consumer service line apparently has different marching others.
@speedracer216 it is quite widespread... and it's not the 'media' saying it. It's gamers. Also, the issue is a design flaw. If everyone plays differently, then not everyone is going to experience it... until they need to use it for a game for which it WILL fail on them. Or a play style.
And it's all lip service from what I can tell. People have been having a hard time getting answers, getting Nintendo to admit anything is wrong with the left controller and haven't been living up to the Nintendo pimp's damage control/spin.
Nintendo aren't making good on anything. Just PR spin and stall tactics.
@MindWanderer Exactly... yet so many are on the denial train right with Nintendo. In these people's eyes just because they haven't had issues, the problem isn't real and you're just complaining. Which of course let's Nintendo take a hard stance.
@faint Um, no. Having no problems and leaving it at that... the knowledge that you haven't had problems... is one thing. Its quite another to extrapolate out that your good fortune means that no problem exists and therefore Nintendo is automatically in the right... which is the vibe and/or actual statements that are coming from Nintendrones.
I love how the Nintendrones are taking the side of Reggie the greasy Nintendo pimp when this is a very real DESIGN FLAW. But ok... keep letting Nintendo say that issues are features and defects are the norm. See what happens the next time you need them to make good on a warranty.
There have been plenty of issues with the Switch at launch. And to a degree, we've all (sadly) come to expect that with a new system. The problem isn't the defects as much as it is Nintendo's response. They are - so far - telling people: It's all in your head. If it isn't in your head, it's not an issue. If there is a defect, it's just a manufacturing norm that we won't address. Everything else is... undergoing 'fact-finding'. They refuse to take any responsibility other than to say: 'It's the new norm so deal with it... because we certainly aren't going to'.
I love Bomberman's multiplayer, but I completely disagree that it was never meant to be a single-player experience.
The SNES game's 'story mode' was sooooo much better than this and really really fun. Even Bomberman 94 had a great 'story mode' with fun worlds... and the multiplayer was a better experience to me.
But the real testament to the single-player Bomberman experience was Saturn Bomberman. SB was a nearly perfect game and imho, still the best in the series. Up to 10 player vs, online vs (via SEGANET in the states) and beautifully crafted story mode with incredible art design and kickass music. The. Best.
But the Saturn Bomberman story mode was really engaging and still holds up today. I wish this had been a remaster of that game.
About the save points: They occur fairly strategically before major events/boss battles. That's why they appear scarce. What the review doesn't tell you is that you can save whenever you want on the world map. Don't forget to save often when you are on the world map and it's not that bad. Later in the game it's a bit harder, but not that bad. In other words. it's a jrpg. There are items to revive and to escape if things look/are dire. I certainly hope that didn't effect the review score as it is a non-issue.
However, that could be offset by the fact that the music quickly becomes tedious. Atmospheric music is one thing, but the mostly forgettable piano plinks and plunks become distracting in their mediocrity. If the point was to emulate games like Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana, someone played those games wearing ear plugs. The iconic scores were very much a living, breathing part of the narrative and incredibly epic and memorable. The piano music is not and really does nothing for the narrative for most of the game.
Hacking the Switch to prove you can because it's your thing is cool. Publishing the results and shouting to the world it's possible and how to do it is a douchey move and sincerely hope that Nintendo brings the hammer down in this case. While it was a stupid move on SEGA's part that led to the situation, piracy was a big issue for the Dreamcast early in it's life. I don't want to same to be the case for the Switch. Let the system and games live and die on their own merits. I'd love to see these do jail time for being arrogant asses, although I know it's not worth Nintendo's time at this point as there will undoubtedly be a patch forthcoming. Hack on your own time in your own space. If others figure it out, good for them. Broadcasting it is a move.
Edit: There is precedent and legal means for jail time, btw.
@BornInNorway81 There's and update with all of that on the way... as has been reported on this site.
If you can't see how the graphics performance boost both in the dock and out are monumental leaps over the Wii U version and all of the insane amount of new content and the rock solid and screamingly fast multiplayer represent a tremendous upgrade and incredible value over the Wii U iteration, then I think perhaps your judgement is impaired.
But we are talking about an insanely great and respected (with good reason) developer and to imply that they were somehow misleading is really messed up and insulting.
Here's the article. Maybe a little research next time will avoid the need for you to imply that a developer is dishonest.
They obviously wanted to get this in as a launch title and with good reason: It's the most amazing racing game on a portable system, a great way to show off the power of the switch and it widens the breadth of genres available for the system at launch. It's also a great way to showcase local multiplayer. So it did it's job, is a CLEAR upgrade and setting aside all else, is a really beautiful and fun game.
They didn't 'pretend' anything... Fast RMX leaves the old version in the dust in every way... and the update (that I'm pretty sure they'll name after you. Yup.) is on the way.
I've held the Switch's feet to the fire for it's shortcomings, but this is sadly and clearly just an incredibly crappy port and a quick cash in using PS3 assets. No way in hell I'm going to support greedy a-holes serving up phoned in software. Do better or you don't get my money. Ever. It's not so much the comparison to the PS4, but rather the talk of the PS3 and the Vita comparison. No way in hell this game should have the performance issues it does... nor should they be using the PS3 assets, if the game is running at 1080p docked.
@KirbyTheVampire Aaaah... but we have no idea just how wide spread the problem is or how long these will continue to pop up. I'm sure 360 fans said the same thing about the red ring of death...
Only time - and people actually talking about it/getting Nintendo to address it - will tell.
The 'Are you kidding me' award goes to this article... iI can't believe it avoids all of the actually insanely valid complaints about the system at lunch: dead/malfunctioning systems, system freezes, systems not recognizing game carts, insane screen issues, systems not charging at all and all of the other crap people have been having to deal with.
Let's not forget the orange and blue screens of death, flickering, inverting screens, dead screens and systems and other fun issues that are cropping up.
Here's a video with a bunch. Scrub through and check it out:
@Turbo857 Your comparison is ridiculous and poorly written. 'over exaggerate' is not a thing... exaggerate will do just fine. And that wasn't the issue... the issues was people either being too close, or more likely not wearing/using the wrist strap.
Scenarios which are so unlike the dock situation that I'd laugh if it weren't so ridiculous to compare the two.
The dock is a pice of crap and one giant lump of a design flaw:
The base should've been more weighted.
The docking should be more precise and guided and the action more tactile: you should be able to more easier detect that contact has been made and the unit properly seated.
Right now the process is loose and imprecise.
There should also have been bumpers or protective strips to prevent contact and possible scorched and scuffing. It also would have helped to guide the unit into the dock.
It all feels very cheap and Fischer Price 'my first hybrid console'. Very much lacking fit and finish and premium appeal.
I have also noted fit and finish tolerances for the joy-cons and things they attach to vary quite a bit. The gap after locking in the rails varies from nearly nonexistent to very noticeable. I can imagine that is only going to get worse with use.
'Dead pixels can literally be found on any lcd display if you are just a tiny bit unlucky' - That is quite literally a false statement, or there would exist no screens without defect... and that's just not true on any level. I don't even know where to begin with your double standards statement, as I have no idea what you are talking about.
I currently have 7 LCD TVs of various sizes, 2 iMacs, 2 Mac Books, a PC laptop, 3 Samsung phones in the house, 3 Kindle Fires, a PSP, a coupe of iPods, Gameboys of all generations, 2 DSs, 3 3DSs (2 are XL), and 2 'new' 3DSxls... only two of the 3DSs have pixel issues.
The industry and manufacturers are always going to try to cover their asses and trying to force the notion of a sub-optimal product being 'just fine' regardless of defect is part of that insanity.
ps. I think my first stuck pixel may have actually been a web phone... back in 2000. So oops. Add that charming tech to the list of pixel defects I have encountered.
Edit: I also have reiterate my assertion that there is no responsible reason why the screen should not have been constructed of of better, more scratch and scuff resistant material. Honestly it should have been glass, period given the way they've positioned the unit to be played in every location/situation possible including parties and competitive gaming and constantly being moved in and out of the dock. It makes no sense that not only is it not a more resilient material, preferably glass... but that it is instead not only plastic, but cheap, easily scuffed and scratched plastic. It's borderline negligent to launch the first hybrid, on the go system with this physical build.
1) The screen should have been glass. The unit feels more like a knock-off android tablet than a $300 system.
2) The dock is a flimsy, cheap piece of crap.
3) This is something Nintendo should have addressed and designed for from jump.
4) Without having had the experience of physically docking the unit, I was assuming that docking would be more precise and stable. I'm expecting scratches and worn contacts with the current build.
5) Major buyer's remorse stetting in today. I should have waited at least a year.
6) Do better Nintendo. This sucks.
7) Let the fanboy and Nintendo apologist attacks begin (How DARE I call the big 'N' out for it's b.s.).
@Kirgo Again, with all of the tech out there that I have owned, Nintendo is the only company that I have ever had this problem with. I'd say you're more of an apologist than a fanboy. And in your own words: faults. Faults = defects.
Not a defect. What a load of crap. If I have any issues with my system and Nintendo doesn't honor their warranty, it will be the last Nintendo system I buy. Period. I honestly regret buying the Switch. They did an excellent job of hyping the gaming on the go/hybrid nature of the system, but honestly the 'magic' wore off after a day of using it docked and handheld. It's a decent feature, it just doesn't feel revolutionary.
I think the biggest take away of this post is just how far Nintendo fandom will go to defend them and even excuse their idiocy. The only devices I have ever had a dead pixel on were both Nintendo systems. Not a defect? WTH? And blaming people for scratching their systems in the dock it so insanely stupid and ignorant. The dock is a cheap piece of crap and no attempt whatsoever was made to protect the system's screen when docking. The action of docking itself is lame. No guides to seat it properly and the contacts look like they'll wear pretty easily. I was surprised when I held it too. it feels more like an $80 knock-off android tablet than a $300 video game system. The screen surface is a sad joke. There's no reason why - especially with all of the docking and undocking that is expected to happen - that screen shouldn't been a strong glass. This screen can be easily scuffed and scratched.
Honestly, I love Nintendo's games but I have severe buyer's remorse for the Switch. I wish I could have made it to one of the events. I never would have bought it if I had the chance to hold it and see the build first-hand. Hearing them punt on quality and build issues makes it even worse.
@BinaryFragger Yup. Reggie was transformed into Nintendo's greasy corporate pimp. I don't trust anything he says, I no longer value anything he labels his personal opinion because chances are good it's not and I really just never want him to speak publicly again. He just vomits corporate b.s. It's offensive.
@mowerdude If you really won't be gaming on the go, I think that's a great decision for you. The game WILL be enhanced on the Switch and I really do look forward to finding out just how much more immersive the game is with the beefed up audio, but I pretty damn sure it's going to be a great experience on the Wii U as well! As if Nintendo would release a Zelda game that wasn't a smooth experience! Have fun!
Your reasoning is solid and that's refreshing to hear.
On the one hand, I can see their concern as they are moving into real world amusement experiences. On the other, I just don't know that this was a) a threat or b) that it in any way hurt their brand. This is a bit of an overreach, imho. I won't go so far as to call it bullying, but I really don't see how it was necessary.
@BiasedSonyFan I never said that the Switch launch was the worst. And if you can't wrap your gray matter around the reasons why the Dreamcast (regardless of your quest for justice or whatever) was both a critical and fiscal success of the likes that had never been seen before (record breaking on several levels) and at the same time an incredible comeback and reversal of fortune (even if sort-lived) thereby making it a one-of-a-kind success and by most sane measures one of (if not the most) successful launches of all time, no amount of facts or logic are going to help. You are beyond help. Circular arguments, misquoting me, attributing though processes and opinions to me that don't represent anything that I've trying to say... and then rinsing and repeating. I should have stopped a while back and that's on me; I fed the troll.I don't understand what you get from all of that nonsense, but damn...
@Sir_funkington Enjoy the days, man. I still get her to play Just Dance and even Call of Duty occasionally (mainly Zombies) and Mario Kart is a fave for the whole fam, but we don't have the father-daughter all-day gaming like we used to... because, teen.
Battle mode was always my favorite so I really missed it when they dropped the ball on the Wii U. And that's what the Joy Cons reminded me of to. That's something that Nintendo really got right with them. Just watching people gather around and play with them made me a tad nostalgic.
@BiasedSonyFan Most everyone else understands the conversation that has been going on. You just seem to want to be contrary and argumentative for no other reason to convince yourself that you had a point and that point was somehow a deep epiphany.
Nope.
Kind of a shame, as I've had some pretty decent interactions with others... even some that don't necessarily agreed 100p. But they understood the convo from jump, so that made things easier. Oh... and they didn't start things out by attacking or being snarky in a vacuum.
@PlywoodStick rather than change wording and paraphrase and maybe get it wrong, i figured I'd make sure I posted the correct info. I'm an aging gamer with matching brain. I remember most of it as i was there including a couple of E3s but details get fuzzy. Also, thanks!
@BiasedSonyFan no... i was talking about successful lauches as another post erroneously characterized the Dreamcast as an example of a bad lauch... when it was in fact one of the best, if not the best. From finacial success, to pop culture standout, to critical success, Dreamcast ticked all of the boxes.
@Sir_funkington My teen daughter and I play the most, but my wife will enjoy 1-2 Switch. We l9ve Mario Kart on the Wii U. I'm sure you'll love getting all of the dlc included and a real battle mode!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) - March 3rd Fast RMX (Switch eShop) - March 3rd I Am Setsuna (Switch eShop) - March 3rd Super Bomberman R (Switch) - March 3rd Just Dance 2017 (Switch) - March 3rd Snipperclips - Cut it out, together! (Switch eShop) - March 3rd Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Switch eShop) - March 3rd 1-2-Switch (Switch) - March 3rd Little Inferno (Switch eShop) - March 3rd Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (Switch eShop) - March 3rd World of Goo (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
And of course Mario Kart in April.
I didn't get a couple of those indie games on the Wii U eShop, so I'm going to support them and check them out on the Switch.
@Dr_Lugae And yes... yes it does - IN FACT - make it it's freakin' launch title freakin' list. It LAUNCHED in the west 9/9/99... you see, things were different back then and launches were regional. Each region had it's launch title list. Even now that's true, regardless of the date. It's only misleading if you don't know what a regional launch is. If you don't understand that a $100 million dollar marketing campaign is a launch. You can call it a 'release' or a birthing or vomiting or whatever you want. It's all the same thing.
And again... I am comparing the Switch's launch window titles in NA to the Dreamcast LAUNCH titles in NA. Apples to Apples... it's just global now.
@Dr_Lugae I'm going to pretend that you aren't actually serious and that you don't think posting a freakin' ACTUAL AND FACTUAL launch title list for the region that I am drawing a comparison to is misleading. Please tell me that's not what you are saying. I'm begging you. I can't take any more of this ridiculousness.
@BiasedSonyFan You're a tad thick between the ears, aren't you. Not once have i been sucked into your feedback loop. I have addressed the Dreamcast launch based on facts and its merits. You are having a dicussion with yourself apparently.
@TreasureFan Yup. The chipset manufacturer wasn't able to produce at projected levels. I think it was around 30% of projected output, but definitely less than 50%. And I think most of the initial units sold were already preordered, making things worse. They were sold out BEFORE the launch, basically.
@BiasedSonyFan The Dreamcast (alongside its eighteen launch games and accessories) took in $97,904,618.09 USD on the first day of launch in North America[16], and sold 514,000 machines in the first two weeks[17], nearly 400,000 of which were in the first four days. Sega were quick to point out that $97 million is more than Star Wars: The Phantom Menace brought in its opening weekend (roughly $65 million)
Over a million machines were sold in North America in just over two and a half months (according to Peter Moore, the milestone was reached on Tuesday 23rd November[19]). This meant the Dreamcast was the fastest selling video games machine in North America of all time.
Roughly 2.5 million Dreamcasts were thought to have been sold in the US by March 31st, 2000[9]. Within five months of launch, the Dreamcast held roughly 20% of the US video game market[23].
Mid-2000 saw the hardware to software ratio for the Dreamcast at a respectable 8:1].
@BiasedSonyFan That was one hell of an ignorant rebuttal. It's - as stated - opinion supported by facts, douche nozzle.
To even challenge this confirms your solid status as a troll... along with your tag - BiasedSonyFan. And in typical troll fashion, you leave half of my statement hanging out there unaddressed.
I will be enjoying my Switch... with every game and multiple controllers including a couple of pro controllers... and pretty much every essential accessory available at launch. I planned ahead and made sure to be up in the middle of the night for go time. Got everything I wanted. But I also have the luxury of being able to play an amazing array of amazing classic games on their original systems with their original controllers as intended.
So enjoy your inane and inaccurate rants... I got it all on lock. Mine, mine and mine.
@Sir_funkington I worked at Software Etc part-time while in design school during the launch, so I got some great discounts... otherwise it would have damaged me as well.

Dont tell me you're talking to companies, just make it happen. This shouldn't even be an article. These apps should have been there day one.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Pits Nintendo Switch vs. PS4 in Dragon Quest Heroes II Comparison
Re: Feature: We Grade the Various Nintendo Switch Launch Complaints from the Web
@KirbyTheVampire Aaaah... but we have no idea just how wide spread the problem is or how long these will continue to pop up. I'm sure 360 fans said the same thing about the red ring of death...
Only time - and people actually talking about it/getting Nintendo to address it - will tell.
Re: Feature: We Grade the Various Nintendo Switch Launch Complaints from the Web
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Dock Scratching Your Screen? Try This DIY Fix
Let's not forget the orange and blue screens of death, flickering, inverting screens, dead screens and systems and other fun issues that are cropping up.
Here's a video with a bunch. Scrub through and check it out:

Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Dock Scratching Your Screen? Try This DIY Fix
@freaksloan Amen
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Dock Scratching Your Screen? Try This DIY Fix
Re: Nintendo Switch With Dead Pixels? It's Not A Defect, Claims Nintendo
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Dock Scratching Your Screen? Try This DIY Fix
Re: Nintendo Switch With Dead Pixels? It's Not A Defect, Claims Nintendo
@Kirgo Again, with all of the tech out there that I have owned, Nintendo is the only company that I have ever had this problem with. I'd say you're more of an apologist than a fanboy. And in your own words: faults. Faults = defects.
Re: Nintendo Switch With Dead Pixels? It's Not A Defect, Claims Nintendo
Re: FAST RMX Developer is Already Working on an Update for the Switch Launch Title
@NintySnesMan Just change the name on the title screen and I think they already did...
Re: Friend Codes Are Back on Nintendo Switch, But There Are Other Options
@BinaryFragger Yup. Reggie was transformed into Nintendo's greasy corporate pimp. I don't trust anything he says, I no longer value anything he labels his personal opinion because chances are good it's not and I really just never want him to speak publicly again. He just vomits corporate b.s. It's offensive.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Lord Omg yes.
Re: Nintendo Releases Official Switch 'First Time Use' Guide Video
@mowerdude If you really won't be gaming on the go, I think that's a great decision for you. The game WILL be enhanced on the Switch and I really do look forward to finding out just how much more immersive the game is with the beefed up audio, but I pretty damn sure it's going to be a great experience on the Wii U as well! As if Nintendo would release a Zelda game that wasn't a smooth experience! Have fun!
Your reasoning is solid and that's refreshing to hear.
Re: Nintendo Throws a Blue Shell at Real Life Mario Kart
On the one hand, I can see their concern as they are moving into real world amusement experiences. On the other, I just don't know that this was a) a threat or b) that it in any way hurt their brand. This is a bit of an overreach, imho. I won't go so far as to call it bullying, but I really don't see how it was necessary.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Sir_funkington Enjoy the days, man. I still get her to play Just Dance and even Call of Duty occasionally (mainly Zombies) and Mario Kart is a fave for the whole fam, but we don't have the father-daughter all-day gaming like we used to... because, teen.
Battle mode was always my favorite so I really missed it when they dropped the ball on the Wii U. And that's what the Joy Cons reminded me of to. That's something that Nintendo really got right with them. Just watching people gather around and play with them made me a tad nostalgic.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@BiasedSonyFan Most everyone else understands the conversation that has been going on. You just seem to want to be contrary and argumentative for no other reason to convince yourself that you had a point and that point was somehow a deep epiphany.
Nope.
Kind of a shame, as I've had some pretty decent interactions with others... even some that don't necessarily agreed 100p. But they understood the convo from jump, so that made things easier. Oh... and they didn't start things out by attacking or being snarky in a vacuum.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@TreasureFan i love my Saturn! And all of my import games... including the Treasure games
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@PlywoodStick rather than change wording and paraphrase and maybe get it wrong, i figured I'd make sure I posted the correct info. I'm an aging gamer with matching brain. I remember most of it as i was there including a couple of E3s but details get fuzzy. Also, thanks!
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@BiasedSonyFan no... i was talking about successful lauches as another post erroneously characterized the Dreamcast as an example of a bad lauch... when it was in fact one of the best, if not the best. From finacial success, to pop culture standout, to critical success, Dreamcast ticked all of the boxes.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Sir_funkington My teen daughter and I play the most, but my wife will enjoy 1-2 Switch. We l9ve Mario Kart on the Wii U. I'm sure you'll love getting all of the dlc included and a real battle mode!
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@BiasedSonyFan And what you're getting at is frustratingly non sequitur; it has no relevance to the original conversation about system launches.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Sir_funkington
Picking up these for sure:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) - March 3rd
Fast RMX (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
I Am Setsuna (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
Super Bomberman R (Switch) - March 3rd
Just Dance 2017 (Switch) - March 3rd
Snipperclips - Cut it out, together! (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
1-2-Switch (Switch) - March 3rd
Little Inferno (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
World of Goo (Switch eShop) - March 3rd
And of course Mario Kart in April.
I didn't get a couple of those indie games on the Wii U eShop, so I'm going to support them and check them out on the Switch.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@JaxonH Yes! I love this! 8 Bit mode is a sweet touch. This certainly feels like a labor of love.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
This is so freakin frustrating...
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Dr_Lugae I'm going to pretend that you aren't actually serious and that you don't think posting a freakin' ACTUAL AND FACTUAL launch title list for the region that I am drawing a comparison to is misleading. Please tell me that's not what you are saying. I'm begging you. I can't take any more of this ridiculousness.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@BiasedSonyFan You're a tad thick between the ears, aren't you. Not once have i been sucked into your feedback loop. I have addressed the Dreamcast launch based on facts and its merits. You are having a dicussion with yourself apparently.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@TreasureFan Yup. The chipset manufacturer wasn't able to produce at projected levels. I think it was around 30% of projected output, but definitely less than 50%. And I think most of the initial units sold were already preordered, making things worse. They were sold out BEFORE the launch, basically.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
How about you?
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017
@Sir_funkington I worked at Software Etc part-time while in design school during the launch, so I got some great discounts... otherwise it would have damaged me as well.
