Hoping for FFVII-style reimagining, something ambitious to get really excited about rather than just tinkering round the edges!

I'd pay for other individual GBA games without the NSO clutter, such a relief to load up Leaf Green with simple black borders and no player icon!

I've been off Nintendo Life since this spoiler, just linking back to this page out of interest with the spoiler debate. Would just like to add I have seen nothing else about this anywhere. The news isn't everywhere at all if you're not looking for it.

Getting to the cinema and seeing a poster would be part of the experience and anticipation. This article was absolutely a spoiler, unfair because previous similar articles were presented carefully. If you don't care or don't think it was a spoiler, fair enough, but to me and some others, it clearly was.

I value Nintendo Life and will no doubt return after seeing this movie. I trust that after some reflection, there will be recognition that on this occasion, the spoiler line was crossed.

I've managed to limit my exposure to official movie news, and appreciated previous vaguely-titled Nintendo Life articles. This headline felt like a spoiler. Sure, I may have found this out before watching the movie, but hoping a few genuine surprises will survive.

Well I'm looking forward to this shiny new Mario game at the weekend. Light single player? OK, there's more games than time as it is!

10 for the sound design, visuals and sense of discovery that reminds me of the original trilogy. Atmospheric first-person adventures from Nintendo need celebrating, and I truly hope there'll be more in the series.

Wish the borders and player icon could be turned off, I find them immersion-breaking and gives those 300 games a sameness

I tried to refund DLC for RPG Maker FES on 3DS due to constant crashes making it unplayable.

First I simply explained the problem then clarified how this was literally the most broken product I'd ever seen on a Nintendo system, but just got an apology + no refund policy reminder.

Out of ideas I resorted to a plea around how much money I'd given Nintendo over 20+ years... didn't work. So unfair!

I was lucky enough to drive with MariCar Osaka in August, was a fantastic and novel way of sightseeing.

200cc Time Trials is a no-brainer. Would be loads of fun!

What a farce - make a toy line that:
1) only adult fans can get anywhere near
2) risks alienating the younger audience
3) is irrelevent to everyone else, as the toys are nowhere near stores and sold out online

They could stock more Shulk, Ness and Lucina if they wanted to, but no, they're generating an increasingly tiresome treasure hunt which, if anything, is perpetuating the image of a niche brand rather than increasing their mainstream exposure.

Potentially-rare Amiibo like Sheik, Ike, Fox and Samus have been easily available in the UK. Makes me think Nintendo could produce enough Shulk and Ness if they wanted to.

I cannot get my head around this sort of thing. It's as if someone at NoE enjoys trolling the minority who cares enough (like me!).

It's even worse that Wii U forces 60hz onto 50hz games which creates an odd stutter - this is not a problem in Wii mode so why they won't patch it for Wii U mode is baffling.

So DKC 3 is back to being the US version, yet they released a stuttering PAL version of DKC 2...

Well as long as the seller is sure... sellers remorse can creep up on you years later in my experience. I'd definitely end up regretting the sale to some extent if it was me (especially the Mario and Zelda lines, which he's clearly fond of).

Last Window was a treat of a sequel. Another would be very welcome!

Good to see that common sense has finally prevailed with eShop controller access. Hopefully more forced GamePad mandatoriness will be phased out next, like System Settings and Mario Kart 8 mini-map!

Still not working for me in UK, such a faff... but I'm seeing a few people here say it works and the shop channel announcement is there, so I hope to resolve it eventually.

I just tried to transfer LostWinds. Sure I followed all the instructions but it still doesn't work. Suppose I'll try again tomorrow in case I'm missing something.

I know that feeling! The only way I could make it go away was to re-buy everything and use the experience to make sure I don't sell-off things again. Expensive but had to be done

I'd recommend the demo to anyone. I knew nothing about Rayman but tried the Legends demo and realised I was missing out!

This is nice for iTunes users, but OST CDs are lovely collectors items for me. Expensive though!

@HaNks Yep £25.07 for Wonderful 101! The main catch seems to be having to pay up front rather than on dispatch - there's still a month for general prices to change as the game is still somewhat of an unknown quantity. Still worth a punt I think.

Good shout. I just tried what you described and now have Pikmin 3 ordered for £23.76. I'm trying the same with W101.

£39.99 for a console-tied download or £23.76 for a more tangible product that I can sell later if I want? I think physical is clearly the better deal in this case even considering the 30% off W101 deal.

Cross-buy and cross-saves for Wii U and 3DS would make eShop prices more palatable. If anyone pays £3.49 for say Wii U Balloon Fight, the least they should expect is compatibility with 3DS as well.

I suppose it depends on what you value. I see something like this Pilotwings as worth the price. If Nintendo stick to these prices and they sell well enough, I think it reflects well on the value of Nintendo's history.

That said, I'd only pay for Pilotwings with clarification that its an uncompromising version. The "optimized" PAL Balloon Fight from last week is a shambles.

@WiiLovePeace Theatrhythm: FF is a great example of tempting DLC menus that get on my nerves. If you don't buy it all, the DLC menu will constantly remind you that your package is incomplete because you haven't got 52 out of 52 DLC songs.
First I ended up choosing my favourite songs but eventually gave in to songs I was indifferent about, like from FF XI. 40+ pounds is annoying but Nintendo/Square obviously did well out of me!

I think the Fire Emblem DLC is actually some of the best content in the game and I've begrudgingly ended up paying up. Unfortunately, the game is a superior package when you include its DLC.

I find the whole concept of DLC unsavory as it prays on peoples natural desire for completeness. I'm the kind of person who's bothered by missing manuals in second-hand boxed games and missing DLC feels similar. That tempting menu of paid-for add-on content never goes away and its irritating.

I like to think I'll avoid DLC-heavy games in the future but unfortunately I'm voting more and more with my wallet...
