Re: Nintendo Badge Arcade is Pinned Down For a 13th November Release in Europe

Serebii

I've spent ~£30 on getting the Pokémon badges in Japan. Over 160 Pokémon badges exist in Japan (http://www.serebii.net/games/badge/).

There's over 3,000 badges total so far in Japan. It rotates daily with new panels coming in every week from various Nintendo franchises.

@FragRed No. He said that to Japanese investors. This has been out in Japan for a year.

Re: It'll be Possible to Catch All 719 Pokémon Using Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire With X & Y

I doubt the Mythical Pokémon (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Diancie and the others) will be included in this.

Thankfully, you can complete your National Pokédex without those Pokémon.

Really though, this is nothing new. They always do this. When FRLG came out, you could then get all Pokémon between RS and FRLG. When HGSS came out, you could then get all Pokémon between DP and HGSS. When B2W2 came out, you could then get all Pokémon between BW and B2W2 (with help from the Dream World).

Re: Nintendo Patent Hints at Pokémon Standalone Console With NFC Support

Serebii

@BLPs This patent is just them registering the process that they used for NFC in Pokémon Rumble U. Every single thing about it is identical to how they run it. However, as that wasn't a much used game, people jumped on this news as if it was a breaking thing.

While they may use the contents of the patent again, what it's for already exists.

Re: Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire's File Size is a Bit of a Pocket Monster

@BlatantlyHeroic It has nothing to do with my "mindset", it has to do with me knowing Pokémon, the userbase of Pokémon, the fandom of Pokémon and the demographics of Pokémon.

@BLPs, I'm not saying the Wii U doesn't need it, I'm saying that, even if it was doing well, it'd be a horrific business decision. It would have a massively inflated budget and, due to the removal of a core aspect of Pokémon, would have severely diminished sales.
It's also not Nintendo's decision. While they own part of the franchise, they don't control the direction of it. That is done by Game Freak and Game Freak are the ones who have decided that, based on how Pokémon is, it will forever remain handheld for the main games. It's how the franchise is designed and a large part of why it sells.

Also, there has been nothing about a Conquest sequel other than a producer saying it would be nice.
