Hmm... how about Sonic CD2? Maybe it takes place in modern era with modern Sonic, but the game has 16-bit/32-bit graphics and it is revealed that Eggman was using using the Sonic Simulator from Sonic Colors to test his new robotic Sonic equivalents, and he is planning to use the "Virtual Hedgehogs" to defeat Sonic once and for all. The time travel gimmick returns, but when you go to the past, you change into Classic Sonic, who doesn't have the Homing Attack like Modern Sonic does but has Spindash like Modern Sonic does and has Insta-Shield that Modern Sonic doesn't have. If you time travel to the future, Future Sonic looks identical to Modern Sonic, but has Boost. In Act II on each Zone, you fight a Virtual Hedgehog which each have a different elemental power. Blue can have water, red can have fire, green can have earth powers, pink can have the power to heal himself and animate unanimate objects, black can have death power, new orange Virtual Hedgehog can have the power of the stars, and new purple Virtual Hedgehog can have toxic gas. And the best new feature is Sonic can equip their powers after defeating them. Also there with be completely new Zones, acts, and bosses as you can imagine, as well as destroying power generators in the past, freeing animals in the future, and a new Special Stage where you must run around a psuedo-3D area collecting imrpsoned animals and returning them to the portal to collect the Time Stone.

Looks kinda lame but it's a neat story anyways!

What to do now? Pray that a price cut doesn't arrive outside Japan. (Which I highly doubt; it's bound to happen someday)
I love both 3DS and Vita and I am happily cheering on, but am feeling bad for 3DS.

I'm downloading Tails Adventures for sure. It better not end up like the long-delayed Sonic Blast and Sonic Labyrinth.

PETA, get a life. How sad, suing game companies because you really have nothing else to do. I hate animal cruelty too, in fact I love animals. I spend every day with them. I could never dream of hurting them. I think animals are equal to me even.
Anyways, the animal cruelty in the Assasins Creed game is not happening in real life, so there's no reason to be a bunch of psychos.
There are ACTUAL animals being abused in this world, you know. Why not stop being useless for a change and help those animals? I would, but I'm too young and my parents won't just let me go out in the world yet because I'm only 14. And I agree with them. So how about you quit sitting around on your lazy bums and help those animals instead of suing game companies. Thank you.

So this'll be the last game? That's unlike Nintendo to just end such a good franchise and never make another Layton game again. Maybe they'll make another game series taking place in the future starring Luke Triton as an adult solving mysteries...?

Awesome! I'm always up for a 2D Zelda! But alas we'll probably have to wait another 5-7 months to play it because Japan usually always gets VC games months before we do... if you don't believe me they have 50 more VC games than we do, last I checked.

Mario & Luigi Dream Team looks very creative. I wonder how long they've been developing it? Since 2011 maybe? I'm glad Nintendo is using their creative smarts once more, I thought they would keep playing it safe again. I WAS WRONG!

Whoa, Handheld Game of the Year! Paper Mario STicker Star is a great game, so it's no suprise.

Why shouldn't they make a new one? The first one was a success!

Totally agree with this review score. The restore points make this game much more playable, the controls are amazing, and the gameplay is perfection. Normal Mode is easy, but Difficult Mode is a challenging second quest.

I think those six playable characters will be:
Sonic (duh)
Tails
Knuckles
Shadow
Rouge or Amy
Silver or Espio
And have 20 stages, as said, a hub like Sonic Adventure, updated Chao Garden, different abilities, yet same gameplay for each character, and I don't know if they'll either use the Adventure or Unleashed formula, multiple exits, but it would make much more sense if thy used the Adventure formula if it's titled "Sonic Adventure 3".

No treasure hunting, shooting, fishing, or any gameplay different from Sonic's (like Sonic 3 & Knuckles with different abilities but same gameplay), multiple playable characters, no cheesy voice acting or stupid plots, a long and semi-difficult game, level layout like Genesis games with level design and exploration of Adventure games, and bring back the Adventure gameplay formula and you've got the perfect Sonic game. Oh yeah, and one more thing... CHAO... GARDEN!!!!!!!!

Yeah the graphics will be great. Why can't other (third party) developers do that? A lot of them make games that look like they belong on the Nintendo 64, when I've seen 3DS games (typically made by Nintendo themselves) that look even better than some Wii games.

Jeez Shin'en, just show some gameplay already. If it's gonna be released in the coming weeks, you should have done this a long time ago.

@DarkCoolEdge Yes indeed. I would recommend waiting for Mega Man 2 if I were you. Totally worth 5 bucks and one of the best games of all time.
