Accessory manufacturer PDP unveiled a line-up of peripherals that will be available alongside the launch of Disney Interactive Studio's upcoming summer hit title, Disney Infinity, for the Wii U.
The specialist company is planning to release cases and stands which can store your character figures, as well as power-disc capsules and power-disc albums. Prices range from £9.99 (approx. €11 / $15) right up to £39.99 (approx. €46 / $60).
PDP will sell two storage options — The Infinity PlayZone, which is said to hold three Play Sets, 17 figures and some Power Discs, and the Pack and Play satchel, which can store the same amount of Infinity accessories and features a fold-out play mat.
No release date has been given for the game just yet, all we know is that it's scheduled for a summer launch. Will it be on your list, and are you looking forward to its arrival to the Wii U? Let us know as always.

I'm surprised DIF didn't report on this. I'll have to post about it.
They look kinda cheap if you ask me. I mean, sure I'm going off a single picture, but for $20... I don't think I'll be picking this up, specially if they already have 50 sequels planed.
Ya those look more like a $5-$10 figure
This is Disney,people.They are an empire!
Surely the Wiiu version of this game should be cheaper as there's no need to include the NFC device?
I'll be waiting for the Disney Infinity Lunch-box,bed set,toothbrush's,knifes and forks,cars,and costumes.
They look like happy meal toys!
This is going to be a huge cash cow franchise (I'm a Tv Tropes member, get it?) for sure.
My only concern is, given this is (technically speaking) a licensed game, I wouldn't have any problem with Disney money-milking the heck out of it... as long as the games themselves are good. Anyone could (and in some cases, should) milk a good product. Too bad there are other franchises (I'm looking at you, Activision... and I'm not - ironically enough - talking about Skylanders) getting the same treatment despite not deserving it.
I am never getting this game. EVER.
@Grumpalo
The U version will have a Infinity base because it needs all those 3 places. And if you remove the figure or playset you will exit that playset or the figure will go out of the world. So yes the U version uses the base.
Also this is gonna be one of the best summer releases for me. This game is gonna be amazing.
I wonder how long until Nintendo do their own version with one of their franchises.
I'll find these toys in thrift stores, just like Skylanders, heck, I even got the 3DS version of Skylanders in a thrift store, but I still want to know if this game will be good enough to collect these toys..............and I hope Gaston is in the game, or at least in a future version.
Ok there's no way I'm getting this game. If I was a parent, I would be very afraid.
@SheldonRandoms Woah, what thrift store are you going to?
I personally can not wait to see my sister in law stand at the doors to toys r us waiting for a special edition wall e figurine. She and my brother has spent hundreds of dollars on skylanders. When my 6 yr old niece sees jack skellinton and all of her favorite til Burton Disney characters in Disney infinity...her little pea size attention span will be all over that.
With this economy? Bish please, they're not gonna sell a single figurine.
No no no no no!
No!
@Bass_X0 The AR cards for the 3DS are way cheaper.
@Zellybeanie
You are comparing cheap paper AR cards to high quality figures :')?
No thank you!
@iMarkU I sure did! Because they essentially serve the same purpose in game. The figures are cute 'n all, but c'mon.
@Bass_X0
Hmm... Nintendo characters are toys/trophies that come to life in the Smash Bros. series...
@3DSonicPizza
Oh hell NO!
Thankfully I have trained my son to loathe Disney, and although they now own Star Wars, I have done a decent job of not supporting them. This product will sell, but Skylander's charm has already diminished in my eyes and even my son said "Ughh" when I told him him about Disney Infinity. Not a buy for me.
@Zellybeanie
They aren't cute, They serve the same purpose in game's....First of all it doesn't matter if they are cute or not. They are from better quality than Skylanders and most of all they are from high quality cause Play Arts Kai maked them. But I think most important where you go wrong is the fact that AR cards server a different purpose. AR cards uses a camera not a NFC chip...
Well, I was looking to get this game. After seeing how much cash needs to be put in to enjoy it, well, the heck with it.
@Jukilum I mostly go to the Goodwill, they seem to have a figure once a month, well that's how I got the game, also they were having a sale that day, so I bought the 3DS version for only 22 dollars, and just a week ago, I got a Giants figure for only $2.99
meh... never been very interested in this anyway. not much of a disney video game fan. now, if nintendo made a super smash bros-style game with this sort of schematic, it would sell like hotcakes! and hopefully not cost as much...
