Yet another disappointing week, with no SMB3 to tell us otherwise.

I'll get the Wii U version physical, and I'll consider getting the 3DS version digitally, just for the sake of having a Sonic game stored on my system digitally.

This actually isn't a bad idea. The "adventure mode" caught my attention. I may buy this if released in US.

Truly disappointing. Why would Game Freak make a game for 3DS where the majority of the game isn't 3D? It makes no sense! They say they want to make this game as beautiful graphically as possible? Then give the over world 3D depth! Experiencing a Pokémon overworld in 3D would've been a selling point for this game! I bet they're just doing this so X & Y will look better on 2DS. Blaugh.

Not paying $9.99. If they price cut it to $4.99 then I may consider it, but I already have the game on my iPod Touch.

No Super Mario Bros. 3? Wow, what a shame. Well, I suppose I'll hold out this week. Maybe SMB3 will come next week. Other than that, I guess this week isn't half-bad. SMB3 would've made it amazing though.

Both bundles make sense, especially the New Super Mario Bros. U + Luigi U one.

Mario & Luigi Dream, Pikmin 3, and Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move for me.

@Fast_45er Here's what I think. I think it's ready, but Nintendo is just deciding not to release it yet. It obviously wouldn't take this long, especially since Japan got SMB3 on 3DS e-Shop on New Year's Day.

I already own Little Acorns on my i-Pod Touch. Little Acorns Turbo may have the extra "Turbo" levels, but the iOS version is only $.99. So, I'l pass.
Wonderful 101 is a maybe, but I don't wantto get it right away.
And Temco Bowl? Thanks, but no thanks. Where's Super Mario Bros. 3 already? Hopefully Nintendo will announce that at the forthcoming Nintendo Direct, as well as Miiverse 3DS, Flipnote 3D, and a release date for the Sega 3D Classics.

@shinokami He said no mode like Subspace Emissary-styled adventure mode. He said nothing about a Melee-styled Adventure mode.

@PerezBro99 Perhaps they'll discontinue the DS line and revive the Game Boy line with an HD Gameboy with one main screen that serves as a touch screen. It could be called: the Game Boy Unlimited!

Makes sense with the Nintendo 2DS coming out currently, as well as the Nintendo 3DS XL and the Nintendo DSi.

Well obviously the 3DS is selling well, and is one of the best handhelds of all-time, so it does make sense truly. On a handheld gaming device, you find a gaming experience that can't be captured on any smartphone or tablet out there. That's what handheld gaming platforms are for. And honestly, what does this guy know about saving a console brand? I don't see Atari making consoles anymore.

Can't wait for this.

@slangman You think this game aged badly? This still remains one of the best platformers around! Plus, bad music? This game had one of the most memorable soundtracks of all time! And bad level design? Sure, this game wasn't fast compared to the later installments, but this game had lots of precision platforming and memorable moments. Overall, this game has aged very well.

Well, it's been almost 2 months since this was announced for NA and EU eShop. When will this come out already?

Did I see Shantae and the Pirate's Curse? This is HUGE! No one has even seen footage of that game yet... I can't wait!

Will there be new trailers? There hasn't been any trailers for SM3DW, DKCTF, MK8, or SSB4 since their announcements.

This game is looking better and better.

This is ridiculous. Gamestop has gone off the deep end. They need to go. Gamestop will have to come to an end at some point. Especially since the majority people order their games online, digitally, or at non-gaming stores nowadays. Gamestop, stop the insanity.

@Windy You sir, have completely read my mind. Nintendo should be releasing VC games WAY faster than this. I mean, seriously. It took them over 2 years to put Kirby's Dream Land 2 on the North American 3DS e-Shop since making its predecessor available on e-Shop. Seriously, Nintendo? It should not take THAT long at all. Super Mario Bros. 3, Wario Land 3, and 3D Sonic the Hedgehog better hit the 3DS e-Shop soon.

It's about time! Seriously, does it honestly take 14 months to bring a Game Boy port overseas? Oh well, I'm buying it. I held out on Kirby's Dream Land 1 just for this.

@The_Joker I think Nintendo should stop focusing on adding some new gimmick per console and focus on making a system with a strong lineup of games (first and third party) and power that'll compete with Sony and Microsoft's consoles after PS4 and Xbox One. However, I'm content with the Wii U right now.

@CAM290 ...for an SNES cartridge. An actual SNES cartridge is worth much more than a digital version of an SNES cartridge. Nintendo's Virtual Console titles are a bit overpriced. The same can be said for almost everything on the e-Shop. Compared to the prices of games on other digital services, Nintendo's digital products' prices seem like a rip-off. Nintendo is the dominant gaming company (in my eyes), no doubt, but even they have their flaws.

Back to the main point, of course an SNES cartridge is worth more than a digital copy. That's why digital Earthbound should be lowered to $8 because digital 16-bit titles being $10 seems like a rip-off compared to other digital services.

Sigh... You can go back to arguing with me now.

1. I don't know, but I honestly preferred it when I was unpopular on YouTube because I didn't get made fun of nearly as much.
2. Well, I'm 14. Yes, I know I look younger, but everyone is different, okay? And I know I have a high voice. I can't help that. Plus I have a life-long curse known as autism which as affected me socially in school especially.

That's me. Well, I really don't know why people freak out about my videos on the internet everywhere. I'm just saying my opinions, and people are saying "OMG this kid is so hilarious!" "Yo guys check out this funny kid..." "This kid is such a Nintendo and Sonic fanboy!" And so on and so on. It's very annoying. I hope this post doesn't affect what you guys think of me on Nintendo Life, because if so, this is just another place that I'll get picked on.

I predict a new IP (well this is actually confirmed), a new Kirby title for Wii U, a new 3D Legend of Zelda game, another 3D Mario for Wii U, Animal Crossing for Wii U, PilotWings for Wii U, a new Metroid game, possibly a new Star Fox game, a new Paper Mario game, Mario sports games for Wii U, a new Fire Emblem game, Mario Party U, Pokémon Wii U games, and possibly sequels to Mii games (Wii Sports U, Wii Music U, Wii Play U, and possibly a Nintendo Land sequel).

...and why wouldn't he be? The Wii U has some stellar titles coming out for it. Super Mario 3D World, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Donkey Kong Country: tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. 4, new IP, Sonic Lost World, Wonderful 101, Yarn Yoshi, and Pikmin 3 all look amazing.

Honestly, Nintendo is saying that about every game. LAZINESS. Nintendo, get off of your lazy @#* and make DLC for your games! (Not just Mario! We don't only want Mario DLC!) It's your job as a video game company to improve and add on to your games to improve the experience! And you guys better make DLC for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS you lazy bums!

I was really hoping for exclusive characters for each version. Oh well.

As long as it's an open world Mario game, I'll be happy.

Am I the only one who thinks this is good news? This is good news for three reasons:
1. So we'll have a Sonic game to look forward to in 2014.
2. So the Nintendo-Sonic deal can last a little longer.
3. We don't need any more rushed Sonic games...

Love, I'll be away in Florida for vacation. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to find a Best Buy location there and see the E3 announcements through a mobile device.
