Re: Nintendo Admits Advertising for 3DS Will be Tricky

RyuZebian

In the cinemas the ad could say: "How do you like those glasses? They let you see 3d, which is great, but don't you think they would be in the way when you enjoy 3d on the GO. Because now you can, WITHOUT glasses, with the ne 3DS!" Then some demos etc. showing the logo in 3d!

Re: 3DS Could Feature 3G Connectivity

RyuZebian

I also think 3G would be good. But I don't want to pay more than 5 euros every year! Anyone who pays more than that for console internet connection is a looooseeer!* With upcoming 4g though, you can have a mobile broadband connection that can supply several units with wi-fi! Just have patience, and money...
*Provoking 360 owners FTW!

Re: 3DS Powered by Pica200 GPU

RyuZebian

It definetly has some marginal to the real limit, which is the 3DS screen resolution... Any not-so-smooth edge is probably the screens fault! But let's not be too hard on it: It's probably the first non.glasses 3D screen, which is great!

Re: E3 2010: 3DS Could be Region-Locked

RyuZebian

Although I've never had to import any games, I think region locking is foolish... I really don't want to have another "EarthBound Incident." Yeah, it's in the history books now. Mine at least...

Re: E3 2010: Wii 2 Will Probably be 3D, says Iwata

RyuZebian

30% 3D TV adoption rate says nothing, since I have NO idea how the adoption rate is going... What could it be in Sweden right now? Like 0.0005 percent? I doubt it's much higher in many other countries... Sadly. But at least that means I know I should wait with replacing my fatscreen TV!

Re: E3 2010: First Impressions: Nintendo 3DS

RyuZebian

The biggest questionmark above my head right now is the one concerning the type of 3D! Is it the of the sort that doesn't change depending on the angle (viewable by multiple persons) or does it have head tracking? Head tracking would means that you could see different thing depending on your viewing angle, but only you can view it correctly... I'm REALLY curious and I hope someone will answear my question!

Re: E3 2010: Nintendogs and Cats for 3DS

RyuZebian

I remember when me and my friend saw the interview about this, and the developer spoke of how the pets would react differently to new people, depending on the way they were raised... Some would bark at the stranger and some would approach it, to lick it's hand; in 3D. I lewdly hinted at the perverted possibilities, by reaching for my zipper! We LOLd!

Re: E3 2010: 3DS Will be Out Within 12 Months

RyuZebian

I'm pretty much expecting to pay the equivelent of 300€ for this! Also, I've been expecting this for spring, so any earlier release is just good news!
I personally don't think the downloads will be tranferable... That's why I haven't bought so many, only for about 3000 points (including the free ones).

Re: E3 2010: EA Hints at 3DS Online Functionality

RyuZebian

@3 I agree on the FC part. Really annoying... But I know for sure that the standard size D-pad is for he people who want fully backwards compatible controls! A controlstick is always nice, but sometimes you really want that D-pad... Maybe it's not only for backwards compability with DS games, if you know what I mean!

Re: EA CEO Has Seen 3DS, Confirms It Is Cool

RyuZebian

I think he meant "cool" as in "Oh my god!!! I have to act like nothing or they will understand that I have held in my hands the device of the divine, the portable of gods and the saviour of mankind......" Oh? The device...? Yeah, it's epi... COOL.

Re: The Nintendo Era is Over, Tweets Former Final Fantasy Scribe

RyuZebian

Bullshait. The iPad is going to have some success, sure, but it's not like it's gonna dominate the whole market! If Nintendo just uses the more powerful Tegra 2 chip in 3DS, the iPad won't have much to compare in graphics! The chip is made for great gaming, unlike the A4 that has a more universal usefullness. Dual-core mobile processor= Incredible graphics! With some good downloads (mobile VC!!!!) and good audio/video support, the 3DS is definitely isn't going to lose to that stupid iPad!

Re: Nintendo is Clearly Not in Greenpeace's Good Books

RyuZebian

Why does everyone hate Green Peace?! If only the enviromentaly-wise incompetent politicians of today would actually do something there wouldn't have to be a GP! If all countries would unite to promote greener electronics and disapprove of harmful ones then GP wouldn't have to do it... Guess what? The politicians do not. Not for real. That's why I consider GP work in this area a GOOD THING. It has had great effect on the companies listed, forcing them to better themselves so that they can compete with their rivals. It's a game between the companies, with the enviroment as a final winner. Who on this earth could REALLY consider that bad?! Think what you want about GP, but the effects of this campaign is undeniable!

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Players Already Super-Skilled and Super-Fast

RyuZebian

Pure skill is all. In my opinion, everything that isn't "over the top" glitching is just hidden tecniques! Like all the sniper spots in COD: WAW for the Wii... Why would they let you walk on the texture if you weren't meant to? Any kind of hovering/walking out of bounds is cheating though! This was skill anyway.

Re: Red Steel 2 Met Ubi's Sales Expectations

RyuZebian

It's better to be posetively suprised than negatively, so low sales expectations are good if you ask me. otherwise they might have gotten headlines like "Ubisoft's RS2 sales disappoint!" In this case they can simpy say "No they weren't, we expected this!"

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops Confirmed for Wii

RyuZebian

Yaay, another FPS to play! I spit on joystick FPS controls... Wiimote, mouse or no thanks! And I guess touch screen controls can't work, considering the precision you can achive! Boom, head-shot, baam, nut-shot! Everyone would be like aim bots!

Re: Software Pirates Beware: No 3DS Booty For You

RyuZebian

Cartridges are waaay more suitable for the future than any compact disc will ever be, according to me. Considering the high capacity and write/read time of todays sd cards, and the insane capabilities of next gen cards the cd's are falling behind. Sure, blu-rays can hold 64 gb, but next gen sd cards can hold 2 terabyte (according to product developers)! And today there are already sd cards that can store 64 gb. So WHAT are you getting at? Cartridges are the future!!! (Unless you do not consider memory cards cartridges, then this entire post has been in vain... )

Re: Only 8.8% of Japanese Consumers Want to Buy a 3DS

RyuZebian

If this is a success, it is. If not, then there are other handheld platforms! Taking a gamble like this takes guts, and Nintendo has proven that having guts can really pay off! Not just for keeping you vital signs up, but to make money as well!

Re: Okamiden is Set to be Released Into the Wild in 2011

RyuZebian

2011 sounds good to me. And also, I look at this as more of a spin off of the original Okami. Still really psyced though! A far from present release date seems like a good decision, considering how long the original was in the workings... I'm hoping for an Okami 2 by the time Wii 2 is out!
