European DSi owners have already had the chance to tinker with the first entry in Abylight's 'Music On' series, the straightforwardly-named Music On: Electronic Keyboard, but the Spanish developer-publisher is ready to unleash a second bout of musical noodling with the imminent arrival of Music On: Retro Keyboard.
Boasting all the main features of Electronic Keyboard, the new version features a retro twist as all the sounds and rhythms are inspired by classic consoles and games. Even the interface itself has received an old-school overhaul to fit in with the title's retro theme, as the trailer below shows.
We'll have a chance to see if this entry's throwback styling can make for a more entertaining package than its predecessor when the game is released in Europe this Friday, June 25th.

Sounds cool. Wonder what the next one will be. I'm gonna guess something percussion-based.
This could be useful on my studio setup... interesting.
I think I'll go buy a DSi now thank you very much.
Got the first one and can't wait for this one .
Retro music maker? Awesome! Although I've promised myself I won't buy more DSiware until a 3DS transfer feature is unveiled! But considering the full DSi games support of the console, this is probably gonna be ported soon enough... If it's good, that is.
Its sounds nice, but there one stupid problem with this application, YOU CANT PLAY YOUR RECORDING AND A BEAT AT THE SAME TIME! SON OF A ARRRH! This really breaks the application so bad! Whats the point of recording when you cant play a beat at the same time. I wasted 2 bucks on last stupid music on. If they dont fix this, this application will be as useless as the other one. Cause what you see here on this video is basically the most you can do with it. Thats the limit, no way you can push it further.
@drexegar What do you mean? You can record a beat and your melody and then replay it, play over another melody... What did you expected?
