Re: Chicken Wiggle Will Cost $15 On The 3DS eShop

RetroRider

This pricing will ultimately just destroy the games sales, unless of course Chicken Wiggle surprises us and is really good, I always liked how this game looked, but I don't think it's going to be anything amazing. The problem the developer has is HE sees the game more worth the price than the majority of gamers would.

He better really wow us with a new big trailer showing off what it's got (or doesn't got), or else this game really isn't going to sell well.

Re: Video: Unboxing and Testing the New Nintendo 2DS XL

RetroRider

I think ultimately the camera place looks weird and out of place and the top screen looks weirdly thin compared to the bottom. But oh my gosh both systems look beautiful and they finally have a cover for 3DS came cards, it's about freaking time (I have no idea idea if they have done this with new 3DS's but it's the first time I've seen this on a 3DS model).

Re: Feature: NES Mini Classics - Excitebike

RetroRider

Got this game as a freebie years ago on my 3DS, I really liked it except it was really easy to crash and took a bit too long to get back out your bike. The 3D looked great, I always loved viewing 2D pixel aesthetic games in 3D.

Re: Review: Twisted Fusion (Wii U eShop)

RetroRider

This comment section only makes it more tempting to get the game. Not that I will, I don't own a Wii U... or a 3DS anymore... I just come on here because I'm bored and might get the Switch. Phew went a little off tandem there.

Re: Review: Ninja Five-O (GBA)

RetroRider

@JHDK "Disclaimer: this is a retro review just because we felt like it, this game is not on the eShop..."

I once played this game for a few minutes and it seemed like fun, I may try to play again.

Re: Talking Point: Ports vs. Sequels On The Nintendo Switch

@NicolausCamp

"I Nintendo can churn out 3-4 Mario Party games for any given console generation, I don't see why they couldn't give us at least 2 Mario Karts or SSBs..."

Because Mario party games are easier for them to develop, and with the name "Mario" slapped on the title it's also easy money.

Re: Axiom Verge Dev Tom Happ Opens Up About The Challenge Of Raising A Son With Special Needs

@iGen This is why I still say the comments need a better layout for improvement, once some people see that one of the first comments is a negative one or opposite of the majority's opinion, they will respond with a small flame war.

Comments should be sorted by newest at the top instead of oldest and have reply chains so you would know who the hell is replying to what and who.

Re: Livestreamed Mugging Highlights The Dangers Of Playing Pokémon GO Late At Night

RetroRider

@iGen That's fine, I agree the internet can be a wonderful place of information but at the same time the people who you encounter can often be annoying behind their comfy computer screen. Whether they think they are doing "good" or not.

People want to punish others with their words as much as they can online if some one made an oopsie. You'd think those people never made a mistake online before, and they just make themselves sometimes look worse than the original person they're shaming.

Re: Livestreamed Mugging Highlights The Dangers Of Playing Pokémon GO Late At Night

RetroRider

@iGen I think I remember you, were people even trying to shame you even on the forums? I might be thinking of some one else, he got it really bad.

But that's how the community is here, no one in the comments section can really get to know each other so people can get really divided here.

The comments layout sucks actually, I'd prefer them to be completely changed to something like disqus.

Re: Scribblenauts Studio 5th Cell Is Closing Its Doors

RetroRider

5th Cell created a good chunk of my childhood... just the other day on Twitter I gave one of the artists of DtL/Scribblenauts my gratitude, and now it's all just stopped.

That's a real shame but they had a very good run that I will always remember.

Re: The Game Boy Advance is Now 15 Years Old

RetroRider

Ah yes the GBA, the hand held system filled with wonderful library of games. Meanwhile I had a horrendous collection of spongebob games. Hey at least I got to borrow the awesome Mario Advance games from my cousin.

I'll be 17 here in a little bit, I didn't even think the advance was more than 14 years old!
