Re: Mighty No. 9 Studio Comcept Facing Fan Backlash Over Community Manager Appointment

Ren

I was expecting more ignorant backlash from gamers here but it's nice to see that many of the N-life users are awake enough to give anyone who will just do their job a fair shot without insane harassment like that referenced in the article.
It's still upsetting to see the really ignorant remarks of a few about how "feminists hate men" or "feminazi" BS; what world do you live in? where have you met or seen any feminist like this? Do you understand what it means at all? I am a feminist as are probably many people who come to this site whether they know it of not.
It is simply the idea and belief system that accepts both Men and Women in society as being equal and deserving of the same basic human rights everywhere and with all things. It's no deeper than that and there is no 'typical feminist' other than the other ignorant trash that the media has made of feminism.
it's an idea and a beautiful one at that. If this woman has strong views about rights for LGBT communities, and the cause of Feminism, as a straight male I'm 100% behind it; how would that hurt the game?
grow up, fellows, or get out a little more.

Re: Soapbox: Even With The Arrival Of PS4 And Xbox One, I'd Still Pick The Wii U

Ren

nice points in this article. I'm starting to sway back towards a WiiU once I have some free money again. I think the ps4 will be really cool eventually but I'll wait.
It's a little like the jump from DVD to Blu-ray. This gen (not wii) is so great already theres not much they can do to really impress yet so the WiiU tactic might have a fighting chance after all. I'm still having a blast with ps3 and Xbox 360 I can't see any reason to upgrade until they really stop supporting those, who cares about extra smoke and particles? When they stop being cross platform we'll start to see real jumps in AI and stuff and it'll be super cool then.
As far as WiiU I may just have to get one for the unique N software at least even if it means getting a ps4 for the big triple A stuff in a year that will surely be nicer looking there.

Re: Talking Point: Moving To Smartphones Is Not The Answer For Nintendo

Ren

wow, @rjejr , way to knock it out. good points.
I love nintendo but it is just not in the same league as apple in terms of it's visibility. And it's great to point out that people don't seem to get that companies don't make 'free to play' games because they want to offer us a deal, it's because we all can't resist and it's fantastic advertising. Nintendo has shown us time and again that they have some dopey pride issue that they'd rather advertise with kids raving to their friends about a colorful game than actually produce crafty advertising that reaches millions in one swath.
Like they're not a multi billion dollar corporation but a principled yoga teacher. That's great if you are... that, because it worked once with the Wii for a short period. otherwise it's just bad business and any smart board of investors would have fired Iwata 6 months ago.
I'm not saying it's horrible that they haven't gone mobile but I'm saying they can still do it their own careful way by introducing specific limited experiences with the nintendo shine on it to mobile. How would that take it out of their control? That will hardly have people bailing on their consoles if it's used as a springboard to real deep experiences. The games business has arguably seen a huge boost thanks to mobile users who want more overall anyway. in short get in the game or get trampled by it.

Re: Talking Point: Moving To Smartphones Is Not The Answer For Nintendo

Ren

This is a great article and well written, but seems to miss the elephant in the room a bit. I'm also of the mind that the best games are not to be had on a phone but one of the biggest gripes for Nintendo users is the slow trickle of classic games from old systems and the high pricepoints when they do release.
So if Nintendo were to release and control their own classics (NES/SUPER NES) for mobile at their own prices (5-10$) probably with the obligatory free advertising for actual new nintendo games for real consoles, they would sell like hotcakes and make Nintendo a fortune, show their relevance without watering down their position as leaders of their own platform.
It doesn't matter how bad we say angry birds is, it's fast and cute and cheap, and it wouldn't hurt Nintendo to acknowledge that there is a place for this style of gaming and flex their own muscle in that market with THOSE KINDS of experiences including their nes classics that are still better than most mobile games.
No one here wants them to put development muscle into new mobile games, but would anyone with a smartphone NOT buy super mario brothers if nintendo were to release it there?

Re: Hands On: Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre

Ren

yeah, I don't get it. Theres no mention of price, release date, etc. like regular games so I assumed this was only available at the Louvre or in Europe somewhere. So is it on the US e-shop? how much is it?

Re: Poll: Nintendo and the Wii U Fight For Your Attention in This Busiest of Gaming Months

Ren

Like others here I can't afford to just buy new consoles willy-nilly they're all expensive so people are really looking for a value proposition all included. the Wii U looks nice that way but not when you put it up against ps3/Xbox360 deals. For the 'new gen' game stuff the ps4 is the best bang for buck but there aren't good games yet so the WiiU had a little window to draw people in but it's a strange launch time. It's like a blu ray player which Still hasn't dominated at home since it's not that huge of an upgrade from regular DVD's and not worth it to anyone who doesn't have other expensive hardware to support it. It's like the tech is just too good.

in terms of actual home game consoles that leaves 6 options for consumers this holiday. 6. I'm just going to wait until the dust settles after the new year and see where the games and deals are then, so it'll probably be down to a WiiU or a PS4 for me. I'm giving my Wii collection to my nephew and some games to a niece and they'll be more than happy with it. I love my Wii but I want more and the WiiU is finally turned my head with mario 3d but it's not quite enough yet for that much money. This looks dangerously close to the 'oversaturation' that people have been afraid of for a while.
now on top of the 6 basic consoles there are others releasing now, plus tablets. It could be a rough road for them, but a fun one for us; especially in a couple years when whichever systems fail to catch on are all over craigslist for $50.

Re: Poll: Nintendo and the Wii U Fight For Your Attention in This Busiest of Gaming Months

Ren

whether these systems are 'sold out' at random stores or not doesn't say much about it's success or sales, stores don't hold that much and this is obviously a time when people are shopping more than usual. when the stores have restocked a few times before the holiday then see who's really 'sold out' and it'll give a slightly better idea and even then that depends on the supply chain of each company.

Re: Cliff Bleszinski Thinks Super Mario 3D World Is "A System Selling Title"

Ren

Finally a game to be excited about WiiU for! I believe it's a system seller but to "turn it around" this late there needs to be another following really soon after. It's not like Nintendo hasn't carried a system before with mostly it's own software but they need to keep it coming in the next few months or this boost will just be a blip.

Re: Nintendo's Partnership With Southwest Airlines Takes Off As Mario Gives Away Free Wii U Systems

Ren

@zach
Southwest only flies out of midway it's their hub here, not Ohare at all. Midway is much more pleasant to fly out of, smaller and quicker to deal with. Southwest is already the cheaper fare than most other airlines for a lot of bigger US cities, since they are a "discount" airline they hub at the smaller airports. I use them all the time for work and not having to be in Ohare is a good thing.

Re: Soapbox: Super Mario 3D World's Playful Whimsy is Refreshing, But Faces a Vital Commercial Test

Ren

great piece here.
I wish them success with it. I decided against a WiiU for now but this is the first thing that has turned my head a full year after launch.
This will really help things and it will be interesting to see what happens after the holidays coming up. They still have a huge uphill battle since the catch 22 of "bad install base/library means scares developers away means bad install base/library".
Proper marketing and at least one system seller at launch is the only way to avoid that pitfall and it's too late for that but not to late for a bounce back with lots of great games. A small price drop and one more big title like a truly new WiiU Zelda or something would probably win me back and all that could happen next year sometime.
Also I wasn't dying for an HD update of Wiifit; was anyone?

Re: Oceanhorn for iOS Seems to be 'Heavily Inspired' by Zelda

Ren

yeah, it's pushing into 'cheap rip-off' territory but I don't mind because I'm not a blind hater of all things ios-gaming (anymore; I sure used to be).
you could say nintendo missed the boat on this one and they openly defend their decision to do so, so why jump on people who are doing actually good takes on what nintendo has mastered?
Sure it's not Nintendo quality entirely but if it's priced realistically and a good game I'm all for it. isn't peoples' big angry argument that games aren't/will never be the quality of console games? So when they start getting there it hits a little too close to home, does it?
It's Nintendo who pushed me off my high console horse by delivering an expensive sub standard 'next-gen' system so I'm not going to keep kicking at the raising standards of mobile games (technically AND concept wise, this is clearly not a high concept game but it looks fantastic for a mobile game)

Re: Nintendo of America Confirms 23 Locations for its Holiday Mall Experience

Ren

Someone should send them an email with a map or just a note on how many states there are. But it'd be a shame to dip into profits just to pay for silly ol' marketing of your friggin' flagship device that no one is buying. I had 2 people ask me this week when the new Nintendo system is coming out... Normally I defend Nintendo but.. is it really my job as a dissappointed fan to try and explain for 10 minutes what a WiiU is to adults who don't happen to troll Nintendo sites every day? Then to explain to them why I, the biggest Nintendo nerd they know, decided not to get one myself? So embarrassing.

Re: Nintendo Land Has Been Removed From the North American eShop

Ren

brilliant move. 'Cause every time I browse for online games if I don't see any blocky, unadvertised, offline, minigame collections I figure: 'maybe I'll turn this off, get up and go out to find a store that has a game with lots of mii minigames so I can pay full retail price for it. Surely there's no better option on this dusty old online shop from my couch.'

Re: Talking Point: Regional Online Multiplayer Misses the Point

Ren

I would agree that this is not a big deal normally, but I think the real problem with it will be that when interest in it starts to wane even a little it will quickly become impossible to find people to play with and that just looks bad. The problem is their reputation with online titles and their visibility because of the lack of install base so why would you limit the opportunities for matches right out of the gate? If you're a super fan like some of us here it's just fine, but why is it that Nintendo keeps ignoring little things like this that might have brought more people in at a time when they need new people really badly?

Re: EA: Being Voted The Worst Company In America Was "A Wake Up Call"

Ren

I don't really get what they've generally done so wrong, but then I don't really play sports games and I couldn't blame anyone for bailing on the WiiU, Nintendo tanked that one skillfully all by themselves, why blame others for not diving into that cesspool with them? As far as this 'poll'? like the guys at the top said, gamers need to get a life, if this is the worst company in America than it would be exciting times. Time to put down your mountain dew and go outside.

Re: Poll: Is Nintendo's Wii U Advertising and Marketing Doing Enough?

Ren

yeah I don't need to say it again but it is a weird state; what did they think would sell it? retailers clearly aren't excited so it was supposed to be... word of mouth? I don't know anyone who has one or even knows what it is, they give me a funny look when I mention it. Almost seems too late for a comeback now if the adverts are not blazing forward like.. yesterday. games only mean something if people know about the machine.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Safe and Family-Friendly Focus is Integral to Its Fortunes

Ren

as above, this doesn't make me very happy. I may reconsider my waning interest in Nintendo once Iwata is sent packing. I loved the idea of Wiiware but they slapped everyone in the face with such horrible support and marketing, and have made it VERY clear that they don't take anything online seriously and want to stick to their tradition of solid games only; Yet dropped the ball on that too with WiiU due to their overconfidence. besides the 3DS they've been late to every other game in gaming and there are too many other options to keep forgiving them over and over.

Re: Nintendo of America Cuts Recommended Price for Nintendo Land

Ren

yeah, nintendo likes to drop prices way too late, way too little. They did this with Wii games too, and acted like it was this big gift to fans when most of the games in question could already be bought used for 10-15 dollars. Nintendoland is one of the reasons the WiiU is doing badly. The Miis mini games are destined for 'pack-in' status and just looked tired even when the WiiU launched. Playing that game at a pre-launch event is what first gave me pause about the WiiU, it was boring and looked like a Wii game and made me think "uh-oh, this could come out badly for Nintendo".

Re: Iwata: Wii Fit U's Free Trial Period Will Improve Wii U Sales Momentum

Ren

ooh wow, isn't Mr. Iwata just the marketing genius now!
"we felt that it would be difficult to hope that advertising and releasing our games in a standard fashion would be sufficient to create enough buzz in society."
so they decided to skip that stuff alltogether and offer Wiifit U for a whole month! The day is saved!
So are the principal shareholders the only ones that can fire him? How soon?
He sounds like my dad lately but my dads 83; proclaiming the wonders of amazing concepts that will revolutionize an industry - like 20 years ago.

Re: Feature: The Nintendo Life Crypt of Downloadable Horrors II: The Bloodening

Ren

Ha! fun article. The title made me think it was going to be disaster stories about lost data and game saves and such.
Last year I used to keep Ocarina of time 3d and starfox64 3d cartridges in my wallet to play on the go. Suddenly they stopped working completely. not a scratch on them at all. My only guess is that the train quickpass card in my wallet somehow was magnetized enough to wipe them clean or something. Never heard of a game being affected like that from a magnetic passcard or anything and never seen any warning like that on a game before. So infuriating.

I won't even get into the horror of the old nes game freezes with the green screen (after hours of playing through megaman or 'Trojan' back in the day)

Re: Satoru Iwata Emphasizes "An Opportunity" for the Wii U This Holiday Season

Ren

all these things. Iwata needs to go, and whoever comes in needs to pump some money into adverts. I can't see how it would hurt Nintendo overall to release a couple classic games to mobile too. Keep it limited and it would still sell like hotcakes without watering down the hardware and might give them the market share and visibility they desperately need right now. (classic SMB, and zelda games? overnight million sellers on mobile, not to mention other nes classics).

Re: Rayman Legends Lands With A Thud At Japanese Retail

Ren

Interesting how when a company cancels a WiiU version of something people here jump all over them like it's some mean spirited personal excuse because "they hate Nintendo" or something. (see 2 articles back). Then Ubisoft who has tossed more support at WiiU than Nintendo has, is hurting and coming up empty like here, then it's all a big strange mystery and we just move on.
I wouldn't spend precious dev dollars on WiiU either, with the ridiculous install base. No one canceling any WiiU game owes anyone an explanation. Nintendo maybe, but they've long since lost interest in giving us console experiences that reflect this generation.

Re: Soapbox: The Wii U Virtual Console Needs to Freshen Up

Ren

I'm not exagerating when I say this is one of the major reasons I decided not to buy a WiiU and have become more vocal in my displeasure of it. Like many here have said there is just no excuse.
the reason I came to this site back in the Wiiwareworld days is... well the name. Wiiware and VC were an amazing, exciting thing then and, though slow, it turned out awesome. I bought so much there and then the WiiU came out and viola! none of it works natively with it, and none of it works on that fancy new gamepad! No. Way. I can't be alone there. that's just bad business. it's not cunning business to think that people will re-buy all of the stuff (20 y.o. stuff) they just re-bought 2 years before so they can play it on that fancy screen where nothing from the most recent generation works natively already. (not to mention DVD's and, at launch, all the promised tv junk). thats just the start; then what they do trickle out all over again is Urban Champion?! Baseball?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOUR MARKET IS?? If you're like me (30+) into retro games than the Wiiware/vc should have worked as normal at launch and on that screen or why would I bother after spending hundreds on the WiiVC? If you're not and they're catering than fine abandon us and make sure the new 1st party offerings are stellar and many and junk like Netflix works and new DL content is cheap and ready to roll. none of that either. I was waiting to give it a year for catch up but next month theres new systems with new working games and actual worthwhile deals that don't amount to a slap in the face for 20+ year fans. I forgave the poor 3DS launch but all over again was the last straw for me.

Re: Soapbox: The Wii Changed The Face of Gaming, Before The Console Industry Promptly Forgot Its Lessons

Ren

The WiiU has been a mistake and I won't ramble on about why, most of it has been said but basically just the 'why is this better than anything I already have?' argument covers it. But as someone said the 3ds is great and will do fine so it should give them some leverage to play around with the WiiU before retiring it in 3-4 years. If they're REALLY lucky they'll make an amazing zelda or Metroid game and it will boost sales enough to make someone see it as a viable platform but that will be tough after... oh about a month from now.

The other consoles will have the opposite problem. I think the launches will be slow (after the day 1 sellouts) and then steadily people will shell out for the new other consoles, especially after a year when there is a little price drop, and then the WiiU will be a doorstop. At this point the sheer power of a console really does allow you to expand it's interface and input options almost as much as you want especially with bluetooth screens and tablets so the WiiU is unfortunately an old idea before it had a chance to wow anyone. The Wii U is just not future proof enough to entice anyone and doesn't have the launch buzz that the Wii had. The Wii was amazing because Wii sports blew everyone away enough to buy it (at a reasonable price), AND it demonstrated clearly all the useful, well implemented ways you could use the new controller. Even NOW the WiiU doesn't have it's Wiisports (figuratively), so the controller has been lost on everyone. A neat idea poorly implemented, and already past its prime. The real hope for the WiiU would be for them to actually DITCH the gamepad and get with some good AAA titles that we care about using motion plus. I' was sad about it but happy now that I finally discovered the other HD systems thanks to them dropping the ball. I'll give it anoter chance if something good happens in a year or so. (I was broke at the Wii Launch but sold both my legs to play Wiisports and Zelda at launch. Nintendo never put 2+2 together about the successful Wii launch I guess)

Re: Nintendo Japan Confirms an End to Wii Production

Ren

this is sad even if necessary. Only the original NES rivals the Wii to me. The Wii Renewed my interest in gaming after a long break. Now I'm giving my whole collection to my nephew this christmas so he can start with that one (at 5yo). I'm only concerned that the shop will go down (has it already?). There are so many good download games and VC games, it'd be a shame to loose access to them all, anyone know if it's down or going down?

Re: Interview: BetaDwarf On Humble Beginnings, Bringing FORCED to the Wii U eShop and Working with Nintendo

Ren

cool looking game. Makes me feel old with all the weird comparisons and not a mention of Gauntlet anywhere. How is this not an homage to gauntlet, the ORIGINAL of these kind of games? Anyway looks fun. It actually looks more like a 3DS game but it's another thing that will entice me to a WiiU if it ends up really good. Unfortunately if it's on the other consoles I can't see why I'd need a gamepad to enjoy it, and might be more inclined to get it elsewhere. Could be a nice opportunity for 'asymetrical' co-op, though, if one person can be the team leader using swipes for magic and strategic stuff or something, or assigning magic and abilities to different players with different stylus moves over them, or maybe dropping items down for players in some way. Like a dungeon master with the gamepad.

Re: Eiji Aonuma Confirms Minor Changes to A Link Between Worlds to Accommodate 2DS

Ren

I don't mind at all. more people playing a ds is a good thing. I almost always use the 3d effect and it's pretty cool. I only turn it off after eye strain over time or when the battery gets low. Devs won't abandon 3d as long as it's a available at all, it's the only system that uses it and it's not that hard to incorporate it a little. bonus for us with a 3ds, but not essential. remember the DS is still mostly a system for kids by Nintendos own identity since forever, don't be surprised that they want to reach some younger players. Be happy that we got something like 3d at all, it was a bold, risky move (remember the launch?), and it's turned out to be good for everyone. If not for the 3DS I'd be Nintendoless now cause the WiiU is... well I love my 3DS.

Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Eight

Ren

amazing! Another full feature dedicated to pictures of a game series that was never interesting, exciting or innovative in any way and a new sequel that will continue to be talked about by the adolescent fans all the way until it's release so far after the poor WiiU launch that we'll all be able to get a yellowed 'basic' set for $20 at a garage sale to play it on. Interesting. (back to 3ds)

Re: Review: Densha de Go! 64 (Nintendo 64)

Ren

that controller is amazing. God I'd give both my legs to have one like that that plays all the modern fancy 'run-around-shooting-junk-adventure-games' . Newer games are not very relaxing but if I could just watch and throttle up and down or brake to do everything (plus a friggin cup holder! did anyone ever use it for a stopwatch? doubtful.) That's the cadillac of game controllers. What do we get instead? New systems with more buttons, touch pads/screens, gyros, etc; bah! Let me kick back and watch with a coffee. Ahh the n64 days, when Nintendo ruled everything.

Re: Just Dance 2014 UK Commercial Lands Ubisoft And Nintendo In Hot Water

Ren

yeah, this is dumb since she didn't really say that, No apologies owed from Nintendo or anybody. But I don't get the people here who are suggesting that even if it WAS the word in question nobody should be bothered by it. That's as ignorant as the people who use it freely. If you're in a position where it means nothing to you and doesn't effect you great, own that confidence. But even today it's incredibly demeaning and inappropriate to be used in an ad or called that by someone else. It's been a persistent and notorious part of an extremely oppressive racist society (in the US and likely the UK as well) that is NOT 'post-racial'. then to suggest that the feelings of people who have lived under some horrible, demeaning times part of which meant living by that word in a hateful way that most of us will never know; that those people are stupid or wrong for being affected by it? is ridiculous. There is a dark history behind it that embodies more than just a word and I'm fine with any and all efforts to move it out of our vocabulary.
Anyway, back on this subject: this is dumb cause that's not what was said in the song so who cares? let people look it up.

Re: Nintendo UK: Awareness Is The Real Issue With The Wii U, Not Price

Ren

yeah everyone under 12 that isn't a 'core gamer' is all about the old wii. Parents have no idea what WiiU is even in the US so why should they pay so much more for it when the wii is cheap, satisfies kids and has a massive library? Theres a glimmer of hope for comeback but the botched launch and poor marketing make it a really tough uphill battle. It kind of depends now on if/ how bad the other console launches are. If one of them takes off then WiiU is kind of doomed.

Re: PETA Clamours for Attention with Spoof Pokémon Flash Game

Ren

Yeah, PETA is ridiculous and an embarrasement for anyone who actually cares about actual conservation issues or even being veg/vegan.
That said don't start bringing up whether being veg is 'proper' or 'healthy' or not, people. It's a sound and healthy lifestyle choice if you know what you're talking about. We are not Lions chasing down our food, we're lazy modern humans, if you think you need hunks of meat everyday to survive you've been deluded by marketing. Protein is not a rare magical substance found in toenails, and most people don't even do a fraction of the physical activity they did in hunter-gatherer times we are not 'carnivores by nature'... but sometimes steak is good.

Re: News Site Claims That Zelda "Takes A Dim View Of Workers, People Of Colour And Women"

Ren

pretty funny read. I'm someone who takes that stuff really seriously too, but this is pretty over the top. So I guess this guy just landed on planet earth last week or so and hasn't picked up any of the ads, magazines, tv, movies, packaging, music... maybe he landed and then woke up from a nap with the game in his hand.

I do remember thinking the most human depiction of Ganon here and the desert clan being oddly arabic looking with some overtones that say Islam part but it's not very specific about anything to be that harmful to anyone.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo 2DS

Ren

I've rarely seen it discussed this way but I think Nintendo is kind of the 'low income console company', for better or for worse. The systems have always been lowest priced and the games overpriced but designed for everyone for long term use.

They must understand that on some level or they wouldn't be where they are today. Get in the home with cheap entry and then price software high once it's 'must-have'. Business wise it's a smart way, and thats where their attempts to reach to the 'core gamers' with higher priced, slicker consoles has always backfired. (gamecube, WiiU). The marketing for gamecube was decidedly 'older' and tried to compete with PS2 and that just doesn't fit with the Nintendo brand. (full disclosure: I worked as an editor in digital post on the TV ads for gamecube back in the day, they got me excited but I was already an adult). The WiiU is just confused and hasn't hit any market (is it 'hardcore'? where are those games? is it 'family'? where are those games? where is the marketing to back any of that up? the marketing seems to want both but it's very confusing)
The 3ds went for high end at first and it looked grim but they reversed course fast and with this they've embraced their old ways. They could live as software only if they wanted but their portable hardware is still the best. If they can stay focused on the 6-12 y.o. crowd and there will always be customers lining up for Nintendo, even adults on the periphery.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo 2DS

Ren

this is the funnest read on here in a while. It's not for me but it's a brilliant move by Nintendo since this is where they shine. This lets the youngest players get in on the action where Nintendo rules which is great software (3d or no). People are buying 3ds in droves because it's the next ds not because it's 3d and that's ok.
If Nintendo's committed to keeping up 3d, great, I like it but it's not essential. Everybody wins.
This design seems durable, simple, cheap. Maybe too cheap but I think that's ok really. The 3DS feels like the last great machine for Nintendo and offering varying models will extend it's life in the market for sure.

Re: EA Executive: Shigeru Miyamoto is 'Falling Down on the Job'

Ren

His statements are in pretty bad taste but sadly he's not entirely wrong. I wouldn't "blame" Miyamoto for anything, he's done his job and it's really not up to him anymore, it hasn't been for a while. If anything you can thank Iwata for Nintendos problems lately. He has no business trying to run a business as large as Nintendo.

Jobs had no intention of competing with consoles or introducing kids to games but he certainly did spearhead the phenomenon that is moving the market to simpler, smaller experiences, that people prefer on other devices that just HAPPEN to generally do a lot more than any game machine can. It's pathetic that the fans here can't bear to acknowledge the myriad of reasons why people are absolutely more likely to get a phone/tablet than a console first.

Games are just a bonus, not everyone can drop 300+ on a machine that only plays games. but nearly everyone HAS to have a phone and they'll buy one first in a heartbeat. Is that so hard to understand? be realistic. That said Miyamotos' and Jobs' are/were unrivaled genius of modern design, hardware and software, neither of them deserve this guys' trolling.
