@pukka-pie well thats your opinion and your entitled to that but in my opinion yearly releases of COD, FIFA and assassins creed's are way more overrated i thoroughly enjoyed the uncharted games i dont think uncharted is the game most people think of when they think of overrated games i would say you are in the minority with that.

I live in the UK and I don't know anyone who owns a wii u except me and as everyone else has mentioned the advertising for wii u has been pretty terrible which is a real shame because I really like the wii u, having said that I can't say I blame anyone for wanting XBone or PS4 because we are all gamers and there is bound to be a time when we really want to play that exclusive on that other console and also 3rd party support has been pretty poor for the wii u due to the poor sales a bit of a catch 22 really.

It actually kind of ripped off tomb raider and indiana jones and was so shockingly bad that tomb raider itself heavily borrowed from the uncharted series for its reboot and I believe went on to be the best selling game of the series. Yeah uncharted is terrible.

Yeah because naughty dog games are on other platforms other than playstation. Nintendo is not irrelevant in the hardware market at all not while they are still relevant in the software market, and you know who are irrelevant in the software market sadly THQ.

Streets of rage, sonic and shining force would be great.

I was under the impression that this plays from the cartridge but also has emulation features.

A new Shining force or even a remake of shining force 3 would be appreciated not a lot of people got to play that.

I hope Nintendo do have this xmas owned they deserve it, but a guy who believes Nintendo could be ended by a controller accessory for a phone is obviously not the brightest spark.

Wow that's a good one honesty I laughed pretty hard at that. I give it ten years maximum and apple smartphones will be as relevant as sony Walkmans.

It's games like zelda albw, pokemon X and Y, new super luigi u and Super Mario 3d world that has stopped me from saving for a ps4 or Xbox one and I don't regret it at all I will get the new consoles next year when there is a more desirable games library.

Star fox adventures wasn't a bad game at all it just wasn't a star fox game shigsy probably had a brain fart that day.

Looking forward to 3d world because that might be the (console) game to get me off the last of us for a while I've easily sunk 150 hours into that game

@theadrock13 it would be great if they made a 3ds player for wii u using the gamepad as controls and bottom 3ds screen

Damn just registered my 3ds xl code a few weeks ago I already have 3d land but I wouldn't have minded a free digital copy

I love regular show but from the moment I heard about this game I looked it up on YouTube and was instantly disappointed so this review just confirmed my doubts

I have only owned my wii u for 4 months but so far I absolutely love it and look forward to next years releases

Zelda is my favourite game series I can't wait to pick this up on the 22nd of November. 1 week to go people!

Let's face it all the competition watches Nintendo waits to see if it's a safe bet and it sells then release their own version, analogue sticks, trigger button, rumble, motion controls etc. Only thing Nintendo needs to take note of is region locking and online gaming.

Yeah it does look like a Zelda rip off but I would still want to play it because it looks like they have done a good job of it I would totally understand if Nintendo did sue because they have to protect their ip but 3d dot heroes was a blatant Zelda rip (an awesome one at that) and released on ps3 and Nintendo did nothing so...

I wish the UK ad had Rik mayall like the old links awakening ad that would be awesome.

Only games I want from ea are crysis and dead space other than those I don't think I play many other EA games don't like fifa and I have grown tired of the need for speed series. I think ea and activision are about as bad as each other tbh and ubisoft need to quit the yearly assassins creed the milk is drying up.

I am fine with that like mewario said keep dlc for things like Mario kart and maybe smash bros.

i dont get this site sometimes i happened to mention about wii homebrew that plays gamecube games (and that has included anti piracy protection) and my post got edited but then here its completely cool to post a news story about somebody hacking a 3ds game :/

I agree it's slightly overkill to kill off swapnote although I never used it so it doesn't really effect me.

@Nintenjoe64 I completely understand what you mean but I think nintendo just think that portable gaming is the market in Japan and so are focusing on that (maybe a little too much).

3d sonic, streets of rage and altered beast are definate buys for me might even get shinobi 3 glad sega are bringing these to our shores, well done sega maybe nintendo could take note of this and release a few more 3d classics.

There is plenty nintendo can do to turn this around but going software only would be the death of them i dont think i could take that not after Sega I do not want to see Sony and Microsoft running things.

I think mine lives under my TV cabinet hasn't been used in a couple of years and unless the missus decides she wants wii fit u I can't imagine it will be used by me anytime soon

Don't really understand why nintendo wouldn't want to add gamecube games to the eshop the only one thing I can think of is some of the gamecube games made use of those analogue triggers which the pro controller sadly doesn't have

Online multiplayer would be a nice option but as others have said on a platformer it's not essential. I do think nintendo should be incorporating online features into more of their games as it would add some game play life but would rather have no multiplayer than tacked on rubbish (i'm looking at you tomb raider).

@nilcam I know what subtle means thank you, but I guess we will never know quite how subtle the changes are and toning down any 3d effects don't really seem like a positive thing to me after hearing about pokemon x and y but hey thats just me.

@I-U not really not when they are making 'subtle adjustments' to cater to the 2ds

Changing things to accommodate the 2ds sucks I understand that nintendo need to try and cater to everyone but really I want to get the most out of the 3ds's 3d features.

@Damo canon fodder is still a beast of a game. War has never been so much fun
