I hope to see gameplay and I really hope it does have the e3 style graphics because as much as I like the art styles of wind waker and skyward sword I really want to see what Nintendo can do with this console Mario kart 8 wowed me at times and I hope zelda U can impress me even more. Ah E3 such exciting times

Snes super punch out was easily my favourite

Good zelda game i got it on 3ds as a ambassador bit too short but good fun

I would have to say that I think diddy kong racing did better mario kart 64 back in the n64 days crash team racing was a good attempt but didn't quite have that mario magic. Loving mario kart 8 so far

What are you using to stream the wii u through twitch? Just curious.

I cannot wait to buy one of these. And I can tell you for a fact that the wii u can emulate gamecube perfectly just waiting on Nintendo to put some games on the virtual console

Nintendo is getting some of that Mercedes paper don't blame em loads of developers do product placement, it does look funny though

I already have a mayflash adapter but would rather have a official adapter with 4 control ports hopefully it will have rumble as well.

I had already pre ordered so this is great news for me Mario kart 8 and a free game nice one Nintendo. I guess I will get either Pikmin 3 or wonderful 101

Still got my original and my Saturn set up but I'd love a HD remake

I will be buying this it looks great m2 doing a good job with these ports

Unfortunate for everyone that has lost jobs over this decision but I don't think it's anything for Nintendo fans to worry about I'm sure the house of mario is cooking something up.

I still have my original gameboy (albeit without the back cover because I used an unofficial charge pack) and a gameboy pocket that still work to this day. I remember my brother and sister playing 2 player tetris with the link cable ah good times

A 2d prince of persia reboot using the ubiart engine would be cool but I think the prince deserves a full fledged triple a title after all this time without a decent prince of persia.

@WaveBoy cool video hadn't seen that before it looked like it had some really cool ideas but I was really happy with how resi 4 turned out. Resi 5 and 6 are pretty crappy

@Sentinator no they are still selling much better in the UK than wii u it's just that ps4 is slaughtering the XBone here even though this was a mainly xbox territory before and they wanted to get everyone hooked on titanfall so they price dropped to match ps4 price.

Yeah Sega never were the same after they exited the console business which is a shame because Sega really were great.
Rare just got bought by Microsoft and half the team ended up leaving they mainly make crappy kinect sports games now which again is a shame because rare made some of the finest games I played growing up.

@Sentinator I disagree I am pretty sure XBone is doing much better than wii u in the UK unfortunately.

Also if Nintendo ever developed games for other systems (which I kind of hope doesn't happen) chances are they would develop for Sony not because xbox sucks and nobody has an xbox but because in Japan nobody has an xbox and because they are more likely to work with a fellow Japanese company who they have been in bed with before, nobody likes change especially not Nintendo

Good interview. Makes me want to try that project m mod, also you can get unofficial adapters to use the gamecube controller on the wii u by plugging it into a wii remote and everything works perfect except the rumble they are called mayflash adapter and you can get them on amazon.

Not a bad idea from nintys point of view, Mario kart 8 next month and not a lot else on the horizon from Nintendo on wii u so they are releasing it in winter.

From a wii u owners point of view this is another low blow.

Personally I will probably end up getting both versions and Nintendo know most fans will probably do the same.

Cannot wait for this I put my pre order in ages ago I just hope it's better than Mario kart wii because to me that was a bit disappointing compared to double dash. It would be great if they added a double dash team up style mode.

@Kafei2006 yep and grandia on the Saturn was the best version it's a shame they never released it in the West.

I only ever played quake 2 on n64 and I only found out a few years ago that it has a completely different campaign to all the other versions.

I remember being quite impressed with quake 2 for the 64 when it was released, really fun game.

I own 2 Saturn's. A pal model 1 and a ntsc u model 2 and it is easily up one of my favourite consoles. Sega did make amazing hardware and software it's easy to forget sometimes just how great Sega were back in the day.

All Mario kart games are great fun but my favourite by far was double dash although I know I am in the minority here. I have great memories of playing super mario kart the battle multiplayer was awesome.

I have hardly played lost world and I am happy to hear when I do I will have some free extra content. Thank you Sega!

I remember waiting outside for my local GAME to open to pick up my pre ordered 3ds can't believe that was 3 years ago already. Pretty much only had pilotwings or street fighter 4 3d to choose from.

They should make this a cross platform buy like Sony does with ps3-vita-ps4 it makes sense with something like advance wars to be played on either 3ds or wii u.

My girlfriend came home with the toadstool happy meal toy today I think it's probably the coolest happy meal toy I've ever had lol

@unrandomsam exactly rgb mods have been around for a while and they cost very little to do you just need to be able to solder.

@Nintenjoe64 yep your right after I saw donkey kong country on snes nothing on mega drive compared graphically to me.

Should be good, I personally always preferred the snes to the mega drive but each console had great games to choose from.
