@Damo You clearly failed to mention why GTA V wasn't arriving on Nintendo consoles. It's obviously becuse Nintendo already has its own version.

When I'm not active on the Internet for several days, of course a 2DS is announced. Immediately, this gif came to mind.

After buying last year's Adventure Time CE game, there's no way I'm going to pass this up!

The PLvs.AA announcemnet was definitely the highlight of the whole Nintendo Direct, imo. You just don't know how long I've been waiting for this game!

I'm not expecting too many big suprises like in previous Nintendo Directs, but it should be informative, nonetheless. Mainly, the majority of the stream will probably be focused on Pokemon X and Y, The Wonderful 101, TLOZ:ALBW, DK:TF, and possibly an announcement for Miiverse on the 3DS.

I was probably one of the very first people to order the Majora's Mask Soundtrack when the rewards went up late last night. I have to say I'm genuinely impressed with this year's rewards.

When I first heard this news, I can't remember just how excited I was. If the series does move onto the Wii U, however, I'd also like it to remain on the 3DS.

After I re-read the question several times, it started to make more sense, especially when you took out the words between the commas. However, I still believe that it could have been worded better.

@uel Only 3 out of the 5 games in the series actually have different titles between the PAL and NA regions.

At first, I was a little relunctant about purchasing M&L:DT, but after seeing this beautiful cover and reading this terrific review, my interest in this game has piqued.

Since PL 6 will not be available until 2014 in NA, it would make since if they localized it sometime later this year.

To be exact, this interview took place on June 21st, since that was the night Reggie appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." As far as the interview goes, Reggie was right on the money.

If Mutant Mudds 1 and 2 are included, then I might consider it.

As long as Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is localized outside of Japan, I'll be just fine.

From the short trailer of the game, I can already tell it is going to be epic! Now, if only it was released as a 3DS XL bundle...

I don't even own a Wii U, but just from watching the trailer, SM3DW appears to be more innovative and fun than NSMBU. Besides, any game, especially Mario related, is beneficial for the Wii U sales.

I'm hoping that Shovel Knight is released sometime between August and the end of October. It is by far one of my most anticipated eShop games yet!

Hopefully this Adventure Time game will be longer than the first one. However, at least this one will have multiplayer and voice acting.

Well, this was unexpected. I still haven't even played the first game even though I bought it months ago. It looks like I'll have some catching up to do.

I haven't played any of the previous games in the series, so this looks like it may be the start.

Almost everything from this Nintendo Direct was fantastic! In my opinion:
Most exciting moment: Link to the Past sequel
Most disappointing moment: Professor Layton 6 coming 2014 and no mention of PL vs AA

Since I just bought the LE Pikachu 3DS XL, I probably will not pick this one up. Besides, it's appears to be a little plain to my taste.

Though we still may receive PL vs AA this year, I'm still sad that us Americans will have to wait until next year.

Level 5 made this vague post earlier today, so it looks like they may have something to do with this Nintendo Direct. Perhaps they'll reveal Guild 02 or PL vs AA?

Once again, another great interview NL. I've known that Christopher Robin Miller was Professor Layton's voice actor for a while now, but I've never seen an interview with him before.

P.S. When he says, "There may be something happening very soon, however "A true gentleman never reveals too much!" could he have been speaking about another Professor Layton movie?

Another fantastic review, Martin. Now, as I wait for this to be released on the eShop Sunday, I'll just be staring at this with great anticipation.

The 3DS version will be a day one purchase for me!

Considering all of the games that are released in Japan and how many 3DS users there are, I can see why the sales are on the low side. However, I hope it will not affect it's localization to the west.
@Everyone complaining about a yearly release, it didn't stop the COD and the FIFA series from continuing. Plus, it's not just another FPS. IMO, it's one of the most unique handheld series that I've played in a while. However, even if the 3DS series does come to an end, there will more than likely be more movies to follow the events of Unwound Future. Either way, I'm glad to have known the Professor!

I'll be finishing up Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask for sure. Plus, I might download ATV Wild Ride 3D.

Despite the negative review it got on here, I think that I'll still give it a chance and purchase it, unless of course I win the contest for a free copy.

This is one of the best articles I've read in a while. The message is clear and to the point. Though it's easy to blame video games for the violence in society, there is even more positive things that come from them. Great piece @Jeff_Lowe!

$7.99 isn't a bad price considering it has online connectivity. I'll be picking this one up for sure!

I'm quite sad to see one of my favorite series go. However, like some of you mentioned before, I wouldn't be surprised if a spin-off is made. No matter what, though, it just will not be the same without the professor.
