In the end, it wasn't perfect only mediocre. However, when you think about it, they need to leave big surprises for next year when Sony or Microsoft launches new consoles (PS4 or XBox 720) .

It was rather disappointing. The showcase consisted mostly of recycled games from last year. Plus, they didn't even mention Fire Emblem until the conference was over. Where was the big surprise? I wanted to see Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, a new Metroid,or a new Zelda, not the same Mario games we already know about. At least we still have the Tokyo Game Show in September and Nintendo Direct to look forward to.

Well, at least there is still the Tokyo Game Show in September.

It may seem Nintendo could have done better ( maybe even a lot), but read my previous comment #769.

I still wished there was a bit more. At least Fire Emblem is coming out.

I can't wait. I hope that Nintendo will surprise tonight with new titles such as Fire Emblem, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, PL 5, and a new Zelda. That would would really make Nintendo's E3 worth watching.

Since the first did so good, maybe this one could boost sales for the Wii U.

@Tsuchinoko I hope those games that you mentioned will come out here soon. It would make Nintendo's E3 the best!

I hope the 3ds presentation is more exciting. There needs to be more relesase dates and more information over big franchises on the Wii U such as Zelda and SSB, too.

This will be the first time I see Nintendo at E3. Bring on the games!

Since there won't be a redesign, some new colors should be released including game bundles.

That's good. Nintendo's focus should be primarily on the Wii U. If a redesign was to happen, it shouldn't be until a few years.

Move over Microsoft. Here comes Ubisoft!

E3 2011 was great becasuse of the 3ds games, and this year it will be about the Wii U. However, I still look forward to the next 3ds announcements such as Luigi's Mansion 2 and other great games plus the release of new colors. Maybe even a remodel....

Finally! The wait is over. Yesterday on the Hershel Layton Twitter page, I learned that the game would be called Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask in America. Now for a release date.

I'll be watching it for sure.

Next week is my birthday, and I only wished that the Cobalt blue 3ds would be released instead.

If you go to other websites, you'll see the conversation continue with Sakurai saying, "For now, my thought is that perhaps we'll see someone else besides me make another Kid Icarus in another 25 years."

KI Uprising is my favorite 3ds game so far. The graphics and voice acting are amazing. Along with all of the bonus content and online features, it could become the next major Nintendo franchise. As long as a sequel doesn't come out until at least three years and the controls are fixed, I plan on getting the next.

I wish that the Cobalt blue 3ds that Japan has was released in America. For now, I'll just have to stick to my cosmic black.

I think I'll just keep buying them in stores, espicially since it took forever for Gamestop to give me a new DLC because the first one wouldn't work.

I can't wait for release dates such as Luigi's Mansion 2 and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney (probably will be released in 2013) as I wait for NSMB and Professor Layton 5 that come out in the late summer and fall months.
