Well, Online-Racing sounds great, but the game looks like a beefed up N64-Oldie. I´m looking forward to the nintendolife-review.
It looks bad, as mentioned above, and being a fan of racing games, I notice that the turning mechanic seems crappy. This game looks to be pulling a "Need for Speed: The Run" for 3ds. On that game is was actually faster to ride the wall rather than drift.
I dont know.....the game looks a little too extreme for me.
Considering this is an up port of the DS retail game(a great game, mind you), I guess it is worth a shot. Seeing that it has Online and maintains 60 fps(with 3D), I might bite even if it basically is an up-scaled DS game. This review Sold me anyway when it came out on the DS
For price and what it offers is quite nice, I'll be picking up.
We used to play games like these back in the 90's, come on just because it doesnt have your regular "Oh look at the graphics it look so real" doesnt mean the game isnt fun...
The graphics are horrible... so dam ugly!
But the online mode sounds great... Still not sure of what I am going to do.
Game actually looks pretty fun. And to comment of the graphics, it kind of reminds me of one of those ugly 3rd-party gamecube games
$7.99 isn't a bad price considering it has online connectivity. I'll be picking this one up for sure!
Im gettin this one also. cant wait to race online
nice Nice its ds cousin ran at 60 fps. With its on-line multi player $8 price point what paint have you been sniffing to be downing the polygon count or saying the "graphic are so dam ugly",,,People in gearhead terms, this game is a sleeper, a real beast with balls. a muscle car not a showroom/trailerqueen car.
To:Jools W. & All of the team,, Thanks for making this happen!!
a must have for me..... online play? NOW it is a must have.
You guys who have not bought this game yet are really missing out! The Friday night online play has been phenominal. We have had races go down to the wire as well as blow outs but its just good old fashion fun. The game is an Arcade racing game all the way. Come join us for the Friday Night showdowns at 6pm pacific
