@rippertnl basically, is a game has Classic Controller support, it should support Wii U controls. The only game released so far is Punch-Out!, only available in North America. Sun & Punishment 2 and Pandora's Tower are on the way, but no release dates yet.
@StarDust4Ever As mentioned earlier in the comments, there is a way to watch 3D movies through the Plex media server software. I'll try and do a video in the next couple of days, once I've tried this myself
@allav866 As content creators, it's our job to provide content that our audience will enjoy, but we also need to encourage folks to watch that content in the first place - Titles are the quickest way to do that. We don't intend on misleading viewers, but your comment is a valid one - I'll make sure it gets kept in mind. Of course, you or anyone who wants to get in touch and wants to make suggestions and constructive criticism/praise then im always available on Twitter (@TheLastMetroid)
Back to the topic, it wasn't expected for there to be GamePad controls support, but it would have been a good opportunity to add them. But as I mentioned in the video, it doesn't detract from a wonderful game - it's just something I believe would have made it more of an essential purchase.
@allav866 A little harsh really - The Nintendo Life YouTube channel is an extension of the Nintendo Life site. The videos that aren't posted on the site, are usually bonus videos for those that subscribe to our channel.
@BLPs exactly as @Damo said. I was hired by NintendoLife to create a wide variety of video content for the site - Be it informative, or on the silly side. I have a firm belief that games should be above all, fun and should not be treated seriously, unless that is the intention of the game in question. It saddens me that many don't share this outlook.
@SaGa_K What can I say - I needed footage for the video, and without the time to actually play through hours of game for a few seconds of footage, the only way was to do a little hacking
@RupeeClock That's my point. If Nintendo hadn't decided to shift industries and put their efforts into the arcade and home console markets, they wouldn't be the company they are today.
For those naysayers suggesting that Nintendo should stick to games, I wonder what people would have thought about them moving from Hanafuda cards to toys, or from toys to videogames at the time. Just because phones aren't what they do now, doesn't mean it's not something they should do in future.
Markets and industries change, appear and disappear, and a company has to grow to keep up with those changes.
@BakaKnight I'm sure Tommy will barge his way into more of my videos, alongside the many other animals we have here (my fiancé helps to run an animal rescue right here at home!). In the meantime, Tommy has his own Twitter (TommySpins) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/tommyunstoppable)
I held off on Watch Dogs partly because of the Wii U version. Will be interested to see how it holds up against the 360/PS3 versions. At least they bothered with the DLC, although it's a shame you have to pay for them, considering the massive delay.
This game is one of my GOTY contenders, on any system. It's just an excellent game. I've played through Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties, currently on my Infinite Climax play through and I'm still having an absolute blast.
I just hope this game does well in terms of sales, because it damn well deserved it. Stunning.

Re: Video: Watch The Virtual Boy's Galactic Pinball In Full 3D On Your New Nintendo 3DS
@DarthKirby64 Did you change the YouTube players' resolution to 1080p? That might help
Re: Video: Watch The Virtual Boy's Galactic Pinball In Full 3D On Your New Nintendo 3DS
@dumedum the 3D effect on the actual system is a little sharper, but the effect is similar.
Re: Video: Watch The Virtual Boy's Galactic Pinball In Full 3D On Your New Nintendo 3DS
@OneBagTravel If you check out our YouTube channel, we did a video for Wario Land last week

@ReigningSemtex That's right - I may do a video on that as well, if people are interested?
Re: Guide: How to Watch 3D YouTube Videos on Your Shiny New Nintendo 3DS
@RupeeClock I thought it would be a good opportunity for VB Wario Land

@dok5555555 Yes, it does - Just like all games in Wii Mode
Re: Feature: Tales From The Frontline Of Game Boy Development
One of the best things to come out of Croydon! I never realised they were down the road from me until they had already closed down
Re: Guide: How To Create A Custom Game Boy From Start To Finish
@VolcanoFlamesNL Maybe if I pluck up the courage, I may have a go at this myself and video the process

Re: Nintendo Dismisses Rumours That The GameCube Controller Adapter Has Been Discontinued
Not particularly pleased with how Nintendo are dealing with this issue. Too much misinformation.

One other point - People thought Apple making MP3 players and iPhones was a dumb idea too...

@Pinemeowth I don't know, it seemed like an incredibly thought out and well-rounded argument to me...
Re: Amazon UK Is Cancelling GameCube Adapter Orders Due To Lack Of Stock
Very disappointed at how difficult it is to get hold of the adapters. But this isn't the first time that Nintendo have underestimated demand.
Re: Video: Here's How amiibo Works With Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors And Smash Bros. Wii U
@Ras I have no idea why I didn't select it either, thinking about it. I was half asleep, to be fair

@NbaJunkie You aren't wrong there, and I'm sure the review will be available here very soon
Re: Review: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (3DS)
So, I haven't properly played a Pokemon game since Red. Half interested in giving this a go, as the demo was quite enjoyable, if limited.

Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@BarryDunne Yeah, check the specs on Elgato's site - you'll need a bit of oomph to capture 1080p at that frame rate.
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@BarryDunne I use an Elgato Game Capture 60 - Very easy to use, and plays well with my Mac
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@Panamae I captured the video from a Wii U upscaling the game at 1080p. it's not native 1080p, but let's be honest, few console games actually are
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@CyanSolution247 It's more Mario Kart - That's reason enough
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@VolcanoFlamesNL it may be that your machine hasn't got quite enough power to play the video in 1080p? Still, it looks great in 720p as well
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@VolcanoFlamesNL are you using the Chrome web browser?
Re: Video: Watch The Mario Kart 8 × Zelda DLC Running In Silky-Smooth 1080p 60fps
@PvtOttobot thanks! Very pleased with how this turned out, and all of my videos in future should be 60fps as well
Re: Video: The Top 10 Mario Platformers, As Selected By You
@FritzFrapp Yup, along with SMB3, the biggest surprise when I was going through the poll results!
Re: Video: The Top 10 Mario Platformers, As Selected By You
If the game at Number 1 wasn't where it was, I would have refused to do the video.

Re: Video: Follow Our Top 5 Bayonetta 2 Tips To Be A Better Witch
@luckybreak you don't have to, but I recommend you do on Easy difficulty at the very least, just so you get a handle on things.

Re: 8 Player Smash Mode Confirmed For Wii U Super Smash Bros.
Amazing.
Re: Poll: Nintendo Minute Debate - Is Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros. 3 More Influential?
Super Mario World, because in my opinion, it's one of the few games that can be labelled as "perfect".
Re: Video: We Tackle the Legendary Hyrule Warriors "Master Quest Pack" DLC
@sinalefa this is definitely worth picking up, as there is an absolute ton of stuff to do, as there is in Bayonetta 2 as well
Re: Trailer Shows Off Today's First Batch of Hyrule Warriors DLC
We'll have a video on the new content ASAP, in case any of you are on the fence about picking this up
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th October (Europe)
Another great themed set of discounts for both eShops. I spent so much time playing DKL 2 & 3, may need to splash out for those!
