@Owozifa I wouldn't buy a game I wouldn't play. Games like Pokemon, Barbie, Yoshi games, Kirby, etc. aren't really my cup of tea. I prefer shooters, challenging RPG's, metroidvanias, souls-likes, platformers that are challenging, rogue-likes, and arcade style games. If I were to try something new I would buy it digital first, and on sale at that. When I was a kid, almost every game was challenging.

@HamatoYoshi I happen to own sealed copies of both Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda among many others. Bought them day 1. Would you mind explaining how they are worth so much, yet according to you, people that buy them as an investment are kidding themselves?

P.S. I bought doubles as an investment. Funny how that works, eh?

@AndyC_MK111 Because sealed games are worth a lot more than loose or CIB games. Most of those digital copies were bought long before a physical was even announced, and I like playing games when they come out as well like everyone else.. I don't mind double dipping on a game that I love. I love supporting indie companies, and quite frankly, I can afford to do so. I have at least 500 digital games.I am 52yo now. When I die in like, let's say 20 years or so, my son can sell them and probably make bank.

I order from LRG every month. Sure, they can be annoying, but I'd still rather have the game on cart than not have it. I only buy digital at deep price cuts so I can leave my limited releases sealed. At that, I am all about supporting LRG. If it weren't for LRG and all the other limited edition publishers, we wouldn't have these carts at all.

This should have a score for the lovers of this genre, not other peeps. You should have put your personal score, as you say you love the genre. When a movie reviewer goes to a superhero movie, he doesn't rate it in such a way as to consider people that don't like superhero movies, he rates it according to his own view of the movie. A reviewer should always be one that loves the genre he is reviewing. You say you do, so rate it like you do, You're just going to turn people off to something awesome. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I missed the vote for Nobody Saves the World. Bought it last night with gold coins. Playing it right now. I love it!

@Snatcher I just told my son today that, although I own the physical of This War of Mine, I had the urge to buy it digitally just because it's only $1.99. Lol. So I'm no better. Have a great day man!

With the outrage culture currently going on and the fact that this wasn't reported when we first heard about it, I don't know what to believe.

@MarioBrickLayer Sorry it took so long, but I have been pretty busy with life. Othercide has been patched and is v1.3.0.5 now. I haven't had any notable problems with it. I own it digitally as well and am keeping the physical sealed.

I have more of a problem with Team17's ethics than I do their NFT plans. I have no interest in NFT's, but I'm not going to boycott a company over them.. I'm just not going to buy them, and play the game.

My son loves this game. I personally don't, but I will be buying the DLC for him so he can enjoy that.

@mystman12 You didn't really purchase the software, you purchased a license to use said software. You should know this if you are a game dev...You can allow whatever you wish in the license that you provide to your customers. No, I would only go after you for posting my music, downloading it illegaly, or making a copy for someone else. But we'd make an example of you. That I can guarantee!

@mystman12 That's not true. It is not legal to do that just because you own a copy the game. Perhaps you should look up copywrite law and terms of use before replying to me? If even a ounce of what you said you could legally do was true, everyone would be doing it without fear of repercussion. But it's not true, and it's obvious you put no research into what you said.

@Wexter The only part that perturbed me is justifying the stealing of copyrighted music. I agree with much of what you said about game music being uninteresting to most, including myself.

I don't know why you guys are so mad about it. Nobody is forcing you to be participants. Seems like you got a little groupthink going on. I don't plan to buy any, but I'm not going to be a big baby about it and blacklist them over something I never planned to buy anyway. That's my 2 cents.

As a professional musician myself, I would copyright claim the s**t out of him. I have zero sympathy for people that pirate music. Go make your own music instead of stealing someone else's. Just because you think Nintendo owes you, and should therefore make the music available to you, doesn't mean they have to.. You have a good dose of narcissism if you do think like that.

I collect physical editions and I won't buy this. It's going to be the s**t version that was first released digitally. That means no patches on the game card. Why buy a physical of a game that was as shoddy as this release? After the Switch eShop closes this game won't be able to update anymore. Which means it's useless to collect imo.

This is really just a mediocre game. Nothing to get hyped about.
