@SkywardCrowbar I'd disagree with that my friends love it and the sequel but I don't really care for that type of game.

I don't really like these type of games so its no skin off my back sucks for Wii U owners that would like this game but in no way is this making my Wii U collect dust...

@P-Gamer-C I can agree with that the Wii fell out but I don't think it is as much casual vs hardcore Nintendo seems to be price tag vs price tag. Even during the Sega days they didn't go out of their way to make a game gear style hand held they stuck with the gameboy which was cheaper for customers and it did better. Yeah the Wii died out with "hardcore gamers" but that term really confuses me because just because I'm hardcore into games doesn't mean I'm hardcore into hardware. Microsoft went entertainment with XBOX ONE's reveal but it backfired but as a Nintendo/Microsoft fan I hope they both sell well because no matter what console I play I play games I love for them btw I own all consoles as of now and will end up with all consoles this gen probably even ouya and maybe vita I'm still ify about vita.

@ P-Gamer-C It won't flop but it is nice to see gamers make a point about what they don't want all over the Internet! Some companies don't support Wii U whatever but Microsofts fan base doesn't support them at all right now and that's bad news. I honestly thought ps4 was gonna be in trouble so the Xbox one ( dumb name btw ) kinda caught me of guard!

I love how happy everyone is about this! This made my day! Wow I had an uneventful day.

@Jukilum Yeah it reminds me some of my friends try to say ps3 did better than xbox because it had better hardware and I was like look at worldwide sales and then they noticed that the Wii just killed both of them with the most initiative gaming and weakest hardware. Also I agree Wii U will be fine I love mine! I tell people to buy one all the time just for LCU Mario Nintendoland Scribblenauts let alone the other games I haven't had time to play and eshop games are awesome. Nintendo is awesome and I really don't care about HD I play my 3DS more than anything!

HAHAHAHAHAHA I am a HUGE Nintendo fan but my second console is XBOX but after Tuesday if anything I will probably be getting a PS4 unless Destiny comes out on Wii U or PC then I will probably just stick with my Wii U oh and the OUYA

@mch let alone Nintendo makes affordable products unlike other companies. I think it's OUYA for me this time around besides the Wii U I bought at midnight night one!

I hope this pans out to be something besides the original be it all 3 games or a new game can't wait to find out!

@WesCash I kind of agree but I think they should stick with the handheld market that is were they dominate honestly the best way for Nintendo to go it Nintenphone.

@sweetiepiejonus It's not about how he looks but the quality of the drawing itself and I am in no way trying to downplay how awesome the gameplay looks in anyway!!! ( just to get that out there) The drawing itself looks like Megaman but is just a little rough. I understand that it is still in development but I would personally leave the drawings of him out anyways because they aren't really necessary for an 8 bit game like this.

As for why Capcom hasn't released a game, I believe it is a matter of direction. After the creator of Megaman left the company I think they just lost direction entirely. The franchise wasn't going in the best direction and I think that they were looking to do a reboot of sort and still are but they don't know were to go. It is easy to be mad at Capcom and complain that if a fan can make a game then you should be able to make a game but if they just put out a new 8 bit game I don't think that it would do as well. ( not saying I don't love 8 bit megaman but I am just looking at it from a marketing pov) They are looking for a way to bring Megaman back into the mainstream market with some kind of AAA game you can see that from the cancelled FPS Megaman game. I do hope that they figure it sooner than later before they don't make one for another 25 years like they did Kid Icarus but who knows I guess they could just hate there fans but I think that there is a lot more to it than that.

@CaptainSquid I'm not sure if it comes down to the fans as much as it does direction. Megaman games were on a downward spiral and needed a change in direction and I believe that they still don't know that direction. Let a lone the creator of Megaman left the company. Saying that I hope they figure it out before we don't see one for 25 years like we did with Kid Icarus.

Activision has to be in love with Nintendo I'm sure Skylanders sells very well on Wii 3DS and maybe Wii U.

Good move IMO I believe if so many companies wants to question if the Wii U is next gen or if it can even compete with upcoming "storm" of new hardware then Nintendo should make a point that they are going to take care of their fans and their market.
