@BulbasaurusRex if course you don't like visual novels that just tell a story if you dislike multiple routes and endings. Remove that and you lose the biggest strenght of the medium.
It's a pretty fun game but I think I would need more than updated visuals to buy it again. I guess they havent said anything about gameplay improvements or if they fleshed out the story a bit more?
It also had some weird stuff going on like it was impossible to die to single hit attack (did almost zero damage) but AoE could almost instantly wipe the whole party. So it ended up being just a game of trying to survive the AoE attack.
I think it's fine as long as I can play without that stupid throw. And it looked like you can switch to two player at anytime and do double battles? I wonder how they are gonna balance it? Because an already easy game must get super easy with 2v1 if they don't buff the opponents pokemons.
@BenAV Don't play on your 3DS? I don't understand why some people just quit playing their old console just because they got a new one. I jump between switch, vita and 3DS depending on the game and it works perfectly fine.
@Einherjar I disagree, you can replay an RPG just as much as a plattformer. You can replay to try different class or party combinations or just to enjoy the story again etc.
@Einherjar Super Mario Odysseys story takes like 10-15 hours to finish and I didn't see anyone complain about that? I think you have to look at more then just the playtime.
Bought it a couple of days ago and so far I enjoy it. Just don't know if I missed something because I'm at the second "real" dungeon and it's hard as hell...
Pokemon is so full with gimmicks and systems that's it hard to keep track of everything. Feels like they should go back to their roots and stay with the basic - a damn good rpg and great adventure.
Isn't this the normal price for collection editions? At least here in Sweden (here it cost around 93 euro). I remember buying Tokyo Mirage Sessions collection edition and it cost me over 100 euro.
Yeah that faction part felt weird. It felt like I was watching a trailer for a MMORPG. I haven't played a Xenoblade game before but I would rather be surprised by different cities and places in the world.
I don't even know why we're talking about this. The game will maybe be released in 2018 and IF they decide to port it to switch (scaled down) we will see it in 2019 or 2020? I mean if you really wanna play this game just buy a PS4/Xbox.
Yeah let's force the user to download two other apps and turn on developer mode. This is the biggest mess I have ever seen and I'm pretty sure no one will use it in a couple of weeks.
@Shiryu Can always dream I guess. Tried the demo but wasn't for me and I must say that a little part of me are sad that we got this instead of a game more similar to Secret of Mana.
@ThatNyteDaez I just switched from Windows Phone to Android and trying out the game now. It feels a bit off to play it alone but hey it's pretty fun.
But I guess I will play it until I stop seeing a lot of new Pokemons. Right now I get a new one every time I leave to work and it makes it pretty exciting. I'm not sure how anyone can still play this for weeks or months thought.
I don't see why so many complain or think it's a bad idea. I already own a 3DS but if I would want a "new" one I would so go with this one now (never use the 3D function anyway).
I'm pretty sure Switch and 3DS can live side by side and I understand why Nintendo don't wanna kill it.
Are "random indie maker are thinking about porting to switch" really newsworthy? If they decided to port and it's coming soon maybe, but not before they even though about it.
I would say it's gonna be hard without any kind of third party support. Nintendos first party games will be good as usual but that won't be enough (as we saw with Wii U). And you don't go from Wii U to Wii numbers with a couple of extra indie games in the mix.
Yeah for people that love indies Switch looks like heaven. I mean you can even find comments on this site from people that will buy the same indie game for the second or third time (I don't really see the point but oh well).
I actually owned Wii U, but mostly for party games. Sadly 1-2 Switch is way to gimmicky for us, would rather have a Mario Party/Wii Party U.
Well I'm a pretty bad spot. I love JRPGS (which PS4 have a lot) but I don't have a lot of time to play so it have to be a portable. I also have a 3DS and love it but it don't get a lot of games anymore so I had to pick between a Vita or Switch.
But hey, everything is not bad. Switch have a good start with Zelda, I am Setsuna, Disgaea 5 and Octopath Traveler down the road. I just don't hope Switch get become a dump for all indie/mobile games.
@UK-Nintendo They have a lot of indie game, so what?
Seriously, I'm almost starting to regret that I bought Nintendo Switch. I love the hardware, I love Zelda, but it's 99% indie games right now and all announcements are random indie game.
I sure hope E3 won't be a big indie marathon and no big third party games.

Feels like a weird list that missed a lot of the high quality ones, for example:
Re: Returning Players Can Collect Some Bonus Gold In Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
@rjejr You are overthinking this way too much. You played XC2 on the console? You count as a returning players and that's it.

Can you seriously still see the "joystick" on the screen when moving? Really stink lazy port.

@FTL That' some weird logic. Old is old and it doesn't matter how many that have played it.

@Anti-Matter This is not retro, it's just plain ugly. Would rather have a game looking like HM on SNES.
