Someone mentioned this earlier on NTSC-UK and I double took the words... but seeing these shots make me a believer. Now hopefully it'll come out in the West heh...
I saw this earlier, figured here would be on top of reporting things heh. Glad to see it's coming out in the West, Castlevania meets Rick Dangerous looks to be a great combo!
@Stine - Level 5 are handling the game in the main so the decision to bring it westwards for translation will be down to it or Nintendo directly. Not Capcom.
There's also the fact that a certain member of NL (ahem!) was responsible for writing the original N64 retroinspection in Retro Gamer, and was involved in some of this collecting article
@Ristar42 - well GGS was Germany only from what I know... maybe France too. I don't think it was officially sold here. I got mine from German Amazon.
Tempted to get this seeing as it's Level-5, the question is, most of my games are US and I'd prefer that box type (hate the wide white boxes of Europe). Quick question then, is the manual English only too, or is it multilingual?
However that last 10% can take a third of the time to get right... I imagine Skyward Sword will be out this year, and maybe even not saved for the Xmas rush...
Ghost Trick and Okami-den will probably be the last two hurrahs on the DS for myself. Yes, the format is slowing down in readiness for the 3DS. At least the games are still compatible, meaning retailers won't have to worry about shelf space that much, and will slowly wean the old DS titles out like what occurred with the Gamecube.
I am surprised about the lack of availability for Ghost Trick though. Might explain why VG+ in Canada has it listed for $10 more than the RRP, when usually its titles are about the same price as in the US.
For everyone complaining about the price comparisons, you have to remember the US price is WITHOUT tax. And the difference is caused by a weak dollar currently, not much you can do about that. Would you be whinging if the dollar was so strong that it caused our price to go up down the line? Of course you would. So it works both ways...
Got it on XBLA as well... though haven't started it yet, been busy with other stuff, and waiting for the patch to come out (is there going to be one?) to sort out the saving issues.
I had to laugh when they were using clips from "Symphony Hour" in there... if you've never seen that short cartoon, go look it up and see how sound can be a powerful comical tool. Gosh...
And Martin Galway is working on this?! Anyone not recognising the name, go reference all the stuff he did on the C64, and then Origin. He's lost the Texan accent he "adopted" while out there mind you!
In truth the same applied to me Corbie... except I went from 2600 to C64 so there generally was no pick up and play... because you had to wait for the games to load from tape
Now this was how to do a remake of a game... and Capcom changed the position of the dogs... bad Capcom, bad! Which provided a new round of surprises for people...
@Xkhaoz - most likely... and neither do I, I still have my phat DS from the US launch in 2004! So while I'm tempted to get a 3DS when it launches, being able to (finally) get DSiWare is one reason...
From downtown! I recently discovered that someone I know worked on the SNES conversion... definite thumbs up from me, my brother and I played this to death...
I've always found this series to divide people like the Mario Kart games... everyone has their favourite in the series. And for those who don't like it... there is far more strategy, thinking and skill needed to do well at the games to make it more than just a "party brawler"... but you can play it like that if you want to.
At least in this case here Mitchell's "new" record was done in public and verified immediately by those in attendance, compared to going through hours of video tape to verify something after that fact. But it looks like we have another player on the scene...
Ah well, more copies for us then... loved the first AAI game, bring on another I say! Although I do agree that one featuring Emma Skye isn't a bad idea either...
Takumi-san has had a bit of a trip then... he flew from Japan to San Diego for Comicon (I got the Ghost Trick story book signed by him) and then straight onto London! If the demo is any indication of the final game, then it's going to be a good 'un
I missed this panel sadly @ SDCC, the popularity was huge for the room allocated for it, even though I got there fairly early before it started! Anyone hear anything about things being given away to those leaving the room afterwards?

I didn't play it that much, but my brother played it death mind you.
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th June 2011 (North America)
The 3DS VC starts off with a bit of a cracker. Got the original CIB on my shelf, played it to death at the time.
Re: Professor Layton and the Last Specter Out This Fall on DS
That's the odd thing SoulSilver, I think Luke's voice on the US versions is better and less stereotype

Yes, Pang = Buster Bros, silly name that it was.
