@TheNewButler I agree, and I even think, regarding to what you said about buying consoles, that they shot themselves in the foot. Let's say we'll get a new generation switch model in the next couple of years, with hopefully backward compatibility of those cartridges. I have now less incentive on upgrading, feeling that I'll have to leave my island behind. Another case: what if the entire family depends on one island. One of the kids saved enough and now wants to buy himself a switch lite. We can't he copy the island and start from where he stopped? Again, less incentive for a new console.
With FIFA being such a joke on the switch compared to the effort given to it on other platforms, I really hope Konami will bring a full PES version to the switch sometime...
Sometimes I think it's just the firm's culture to ignore the desires of their loyal customers which is ridiculous. I love Nintendo but I just can't understand their priorities.
As a childhood-defining game for me I really hope that the low score here won't drive away newcomers who never played it before from giving it a try. It's absolutely disappointing in terms of bugs and such but as you mentioned in the article - still the great game it was.
Still waiting for a decent pool simulator (not snooker) for the Switch. We play pool at work on a daily basis and I wish I could get better with strategies but yet to find something good for the Switch. Bummer but it seems this one doesn't include a pool mode.

Re: Nintendo Stock Value Rises Thanks To Pokémon Sword And Shield Success
$NTDOY, just like other in the gaming industry, has a very volatile stock. I'd never consider an investment there, swing-trading at best.
