I’m fine with 60 FPS adaptive resolution. I never really played the first Splatoon, but the game looks great and I’m really loving the portability of the Switch. I like being able to play whenever/wherever. I’ll be picking this up on the 21st.
The original details released mentioned that overall storage space would be smaller. I just deleted the game and after downloading again the size is still 9.6GB. Hope this information helps.
Nintendo needs to make it easier for setting up the online and local play features for developers and there needs to be a standard. Seems that the online setup for playing online or with friends is different across many games and so far Nintendo’s setup is much better. I understand it’s still early, but the lack of proper online is confusing. Leader boards are a must.
Mindless hack and slash heaven. The first chapter is pretty easy, but the further you progress the harder the game gets. I’m looking forward to reaching maximum level for both Jake and Diana along with getting some super powers for Johnathan. I’m only about 33% complete with badges, but I’m looking forward to trying to get all those as well in order to unlock the cool stuff. Time to beat was around 8 hours, but to unlock everything and reach max level will most likely be around 20 to 25 hours. Some of the badges are really hard. Example: Take zero damage for whole level. This is a great buy.
This game is actually fun, but I really hope that online social is added once the Nintendo online app is released. I really need to talk crap while playing this type of game otherwise it just feels like I’m playing against AI.
This game is great, but extremely hard. I can’t seem to get the girls to school. I know I’m getting closer and will have to give it another go later. I feel like I have so many hours in this game and have only unlocked very little of the extras. I think unlocks should be loosened up a little.
I believe the developer was on something while making this game. If you’re an adult then this game is best played with a light buzz and some headphones.
I’ve tried to stay away from this game, but then I gave it a try. I really enjoy hanging out with my kids and playing this game. You kind of just lose time together. That’s really what it’s all about. You hang out, you build random stuff, and just relax. I’m really excited for the “Better Together” release that way I can continue to play this game with my kids even when they are at their moms. My daughter would play on a tablet, my son would play on Xbox One, and I of course would be using the Switch.
Visuals great, gameplay great, concept great, replay falls short. I believe that social interaction and online for certain games is a must. Maybe I’ll give it another go on a later date once the online app is released and the Social aspect is added. I understand that the online patch is still waiting approval from Nintendo, but if it doesn’t come before NBA 2K18 is released then I may never look back at this game.

I’ve tried to give this game a chance, but I believe it will just become digital dust. First $40 was way too much, but I paid the price hoping to be amazed. The controls just seem off, but that could be because it’s an older game. I feel like Capcom is just trying to squeeze out money for this game. I’m sure many people also bought this game and I hope Capcom continues to release games for the Switch. Maybe Street Fighter 4 or 5 will be released next year. This was truly a Nostalgia purchase. Memories of great Arcade times, but without the line and being able to talk crap it falls short.

I'm not sure if this statement/question is correct, but Epic Games created the unreal engine, the unreal engine is supposed to be easy to port games to Switch, but there are currently NO announcements from Epic Games for a game being ported to Switch. Is that right? I would love for Unreal Tournament and Paragon to be ported.
This is good news. I’ll be buying this day 1 and hoping that we also get Tekken in the near future. Pokemon Stars could still be announced on the 13th. Man, June is so stressful.
Earlier I was upset with this announcement. Mainly because I thought the HUGE announcement was going to be that online play and the other issues would be addressed soon. I didn't expect that the announcement would be a whole other direction. Now I'm kind of excited because honestly I can wait longer for the patch update and now I don't have to purchase Shaq-Fu which I want. I enjoy what the game currently offers, but once I get through everything online is a must.
I believe Nintendo Switch owners are being dangled a carrot (Shaq-Fu) while we will indefinitely wait for an unknown patch to add online play and fix other issues. What do you think? Will Nintendo users get an NBA Playgrounds patch with online play or a copy of Shaq-Fu first?
Here is an article with the big announcement with mention of online and many other goodies, but I doubt Nintendo owners will see an update anytime soon. I'm guessing that Shaq Fu will be released and playable before NBA Playgrounds gets online play.
I was excited and then I saw gems. I then checked reviews for this game and they were decent so I might give it a try pending price. I can't see paying more than $5. Maybe they'll release a demo that causes some kind of addiction.

Great game, but I might never be able to drift as good as some so I will just hope for many red and blue shells to cause chaos.

Great game to play with family or friends.
Re: ARMS
There are so many arms to unlock and hopefully more characters to be released after Max Brass. Basically, keep the content coming.
Re: Mr. Shifty
Great game, but extremely difficult when reaching later levels. You should get this game if you want a challenge and like to punch everything.
